I had Vince come out to service our A/C system. He was able to help fix our problem of getting air flow upstairs. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions to full satisfaction.
The first time Chief heating and cooling came in after an astronomical quote by another company and gave me an honest fair quote which I accepted. Eric leveled with me and explained everything I needed and the items i probably wouldn't need. When the AC went on the fritz during the crazy summer heat they got me on the schedule and sent out Vince very shortly after. Vince was great to work with and was professional and friendly. He got the issue fixed in a timely manner and left everything better than he found it. As long as i am in the Blue Springs area I will be using chief heating and air for my HVAC needs!

After calling to request an estimate for a new heat pump and air exchanger, Eric arrived promptly the next day a few minutes ahead of the scheduled appointment. He was professional and courteous and answered all of our questions. He was very forthcoming in his explanations. He represents the company well. He came highly recommended and lived up to his excellent reputation. The detailed estimate arrived within three hours of his leaving. The online agreement process was quick and easy. The installation crew arrived on time and did a great job start to finish. They laid down tarps to protect the carpeting and took extra care moving equipment around furnishings to prevent any damage. The crew took the time to mark and explain how to adjust our ducts seasonally for the best results. Eric called a few weeks later to confirm everything was working out and to answer any questions. Our new Carrier heat pump is super quiet and a great replacement for our old system. We couldn't be more pleased. This is the best contractor experience we've ever had. We rate this company 10+ out of 10 and have already recommended them to a friend and will continue to do so.
Courteous and professional service by both the sales and installation crew, for replacing and installing HVAC system for an apt unit. Competitive pricing and minimal waiting period for new system resulted in its good rating.

Kyle did a great job getting me set up with a Carrier replacement AC unit. Fair price. Installation was timely and a neat job was done. The first month the unit has performed well. Hopefully, it will last a long time.
A/C went out during a mini heat wave with a Freon leak. Kyle from Chief Heating came out same day and gave us a quote on a new system. Chief Heating was a few days out on installs which was not good for us due to the hot weather, so Kyle came out and and added a couple pounds of Freon (Free of Charge) to get us through the hot stretch until they could install the new system. My experience and acquaintance with Chief H/C is only of recent days. However, I feel like they are old-friends – I might add – trusted old-friends. A dear friend, who is in the service trade, highly recommended them to me. They handled my last installation job and are first on my list to call when the next H/AC problems pops up (which did this week). Back history: the job was the replacement of a mid-50’s crawlspace mounted monster furnace. The job had been bided by and let out to another firm. At the time of their attempt to remove the monster and install a new high efficient unit, they showed up with the wrong unit. They did not know how to rework/adapt the existing ductwork, which would have required another day or two for me to take off work to accommodate their engineer’s evaluation. Then with an upcharge, reschedule the install – more time that I would have to take off work. They were to call me to schedule the engineer’s visit – they never did call. One call to Chief to look at the unit and present a bid (after my workday had ended – saving me another day off work). In just watching Eric surveying the property, I knew they had their act together. Before my current position, I was a certified industrial H/C tech with an international firm. Therefore, I know a pro when I see one. Their bid was within a few dollars of the first company – good news for me. The removal of the beast was a hassle for their team – and the install was not easy either. In spite of the old property issues, the results were top notch (10+), in my book. The new system works great. The site was cleaned up and the beast was carried up and hauled off in pieces in shorter time than I was expecting. There is only one minor issue remaining to be changed, and I have complete confidence that they will stand behind their work (I gave them total latitude to fit this into their schedule, as their time permits since we are located in the country and it is a very minor change). Went with these guys because they were actually recommended by Carrier. While there are many places that may be certified for installation of Carrier and can sell you the products ; there are far fewer who were actually recommended and trained by them for their repair. The service was good, quick, cost competitive, clean, friendly and system works great.

Excellent customer service.They had been out to my mothers house to fix an older A/C unit. It stopped working shortly after the service call on a hot day, and they were immediately on top of it when I called back in. They came right back out and fixed the problem. She told me the service tech they sent out was very knowledgeable and professional as well. I would highly recommend using them.
