Went to this place to try and get a capacitor. There was a car out front but place was locked up and nobody came to the door. Was 4:45 on a Thursday.
Fabulous Company, Amethyst is a joy to work with. Tech was awesome also.
I called them at 5:00 a.m. and they were at my house by 6:00a.m. It took him less than 30 minutes to diagnose and fix. He was so friendly and professional. He was honest and dependable. he arrived exactly when he said he would. I will definitely call him for all future HVAC repairs and maintenance. I will also recommend him to friends and family.
They were super prompt. They showed up before they said they would (they did call first) and they fixed the problem in about 15 minutes. I wish I had more to say but they were so quick and efficient there just isn't much to say!
If you are a Veteran, this is a business for you. My furnace went out. I went out to find a Vet owned business. I found AV heating and cooling. They came out within the day and diagnosed the problem. I needed a new furnace. The day before thanksgiving, the company went out of the way to ensure I had heat for hosting that day. The owner and his worker were professional and knowledgeable. If you want to help small business and Vet owned. This is for you.

This is a very professional business. They installed a new heater and air conditioner for our house. They worked around our families very difficult schedule. We are beyond happy with the service received.
I highly recommend this company. I've been with them for 10 years when they installed a new AC and Furnace. I'll have them out every couple years for maintenance. They don't try to upsell on something I don't need. If there is something I may not need, they are upfront in saying that maybe in a couple years I may need such-and-such replaced but not now. Recently I had an issue where water was dripping down the sides where the seams are all taped up. The guy actually told me he could save me a few bucks on a call and had me do a simple fix, which was the overflow tube and drain pain being clogged. Problem solved. I have not had any problems with them and they are always on-time within their window. They do take credit card, but there is a fee for that, so I just breakout my rarely used checkbook and write a check. Also, they give a 10% military discount, so someone like me who was in the Marine Corps nearly 30 years ago really appreciates that. Great service and great people.
I have literally never made a review, positive or negative, but with the overwhelming good reviews (which is why I hired them) I wanted to share my experience so some other family doesn’t get ripped off and taken advantage of like we did. I paid $700 to have our furnace repaired by AV. The furnace never got repaired even after being out here 3 times (in their defense one of the times was our fault as we were not giving them accurate information), so we called a different company. The new company showed us an actual part was broken within 5 minutes. AV told us our furnace was “frozen due to extreme temps”. I emailed them and after I didn’t receive a response I also reported them to BBB, with again no response. I feel as if they took advantage of our lack of education surrounding our HVAC system. Would not recommend.
I would absolutely 💯 recommend AV Heating and Cooling to anyone!!! You get the personal touch of a family business, with punctual, professional, and affordable service. They went above and beyond to squeeze me into their schedule, to get my furnace repaired ASAP, in the dead of winter. Thank you again AV Heating and Cooling!!!

We called to have them come out to inspect and noise and burning smell from our heating system. The owner came out that afternoon and found that we had a bad blower. Our unit was over 15 years old so we already new that it would need to be replaced soon. The owner Jim and Adam came out the next day and installed our new unit. Good prices and amazing service. Will be using them for all future needs.
AV came out because we had what we thought was water running out of our heating system. They came out and inspected and it turns out they found the hot water heater had rotted through the bottom. They installed new hot water heaters at a reasonable price and even gave me a veterans discount. They were very professional and courteous. I recommend them to anyone needing HVAC or in our case hot water heater repair or replacement. Very reliable and honest.
My wife called this morning because our air wasn't blowing cold. They had Jim at our house that day! He had us up and running in no time! We really appreciate you guys! Thank you!
Jim Workman of AV Heating and Cooling showed up quicker than I expected, tracked down the problem with my central air conditioning and made the repairs very quickly. Jim's not only a professional that takes pride in his work but he's also a very personable individual. I must admit that the cost seemed a bit high but isn't that always the case? Everyone seems to want repairs done for free or dirt cheap. I was tickled to death with his expertise in tracking down my problem and getting me back up and running again on a very hot afternoon and it was on a very hot Saturday afternoon. My furnace was not working and it was after working hours. Jim came out and fixed it. He was more than reasonable on the price for the repair. He looked at possible reasons for the issue. Everyone there was very friendly and courtesy and showed up when they said. Made me feel they appreciate their customers. Will use them in the future.
As a reviewer, I value my opinions about every business that deals business with me. I look for many things that matter most and usually they are the small things. A/V Heating and cooling went above and beyond my expectations of this service. I had to have a whole new unit replaced, the estimate was more than fair and the timing was fast and incredible. This company works as a team and they very good at it. If you ever need anything done to your furnace or you need to purchase a new one, call these guys they will absolutely take great care of you!!
