My wife and I had a very positive experience with our in-home estimate for a new furnace and central air. The bid was competitive with those of two other reputable family-owned Saint Paul HVAC companies, but our decision to go with Snelling was an easy one to make given the higher quality units specified in the bid (Trane and Bryant) and the knowledge and professionalism of the Snelling representative, Jordan. His honesty and integrity was apparent and his communication skills and genuine concern in addressing our situation was very much appreciated.
Jim was great. Very professional and efficient. So thankful to have him come out and get our air up and running during the heat wave we are having!

Matt was courteous, frank and clear inexplicably paining each step he took to investigate and repair two of my century-old radiators! These units hadn’t worked in 21 years and he had them running in 30 minutes. I’ll be checking back for an annual cleaning in the Fall! Can’t thank you enough—and the price was so reasonable.
High praise for the two guys who repaired our boiler on one of the coldest days of the year. The first gentleman arrived within 45 minutes of placing the call, diagnosed the problem quickly and had the replacement part delivered shortly thereafter. They assured us we'd be up and running soon and they were true to their word. Couldn't have asked for any better!
We went on-line to schedule an appointment on a Wednesday evening. The next morning Brandan, the technician, showed up on time and was very efficient & thorough; determining the exact problem with our furnace. He drove to Oakdale to pick up the necessary spare part and installed it within an hour. Our furnace is working like a dream! We were very impressed with the service we received! Highly recommend Snelling Heating & Cooling!
I'd bought an old duplex, with one set of existing tenants who were very difficult to deal with. One of them had a lawyer father who forced me to sign a document (or go to court) saying I'd not begin any work before 10:00 and only 4 days per week. Snelling was very flexible in dealing with these restraints and also helped me calculate how I would remodel the basement into an apartment. (Many years before it had been an apartment.) When the work was nearly done and they were installing radiators in the basement, it felt great to have them complement the work me and my carpenters had done there. We had an appointment set to put in the ductless system, but the 1st floor tenants denied us access. Snelling was very good about rescheduling this to another time. Their quoted price was competitive with the 2 other bids I'd received. I'd recommend them to anyone.
We had a very positive experience working with Snelling from the diagnosis of the issue (which was done successfully over the phone, over a holiday, and during a high demand cold snap with a phone call and a few texted photos!) to the install and maintenance. We had great customer service throughout. The technician that helped with the install did a thorough job. He was technically sound and not a high pressure sales person. This was a breathe of fresh air after dealing with larger companies that seem more focused on up-selling services and products. We are relieved that our boiler has been properly repaired and tuned up. I would strongly recommend Snelling if you want excellent customer service, technically sound professionals (from office to field staff), and a focus on service rather than sales.

I have had several great experiences with Smelling staff over the years, making me a loyal customer. They have put in New equipment, maintained existing equipment and done repairs....all good to excellent experiences.

I tried to use them. I made an appt two weeks out for them to service my boiler. All this time we have our heat on 59 degrees and its cold. They were recommended to me by Ray Welter. Well, they never showed up. After waiting 5 hours, I called and was told I wasn't even on the books. Funny, since I spoke to Ashley and set up a detailed appt. Terrible experience. Booked with another company who is rated higher. They sent a confirmation text already. I'm sure Snelling is fine. They are just not reliable.

The salesperson was very informed of the mini splits and offered us estimates on 4 options. Their prices are competitive and reasonable. The installation crew showed up on time and worked efficiently. We’re excited to support this company and look forward to using our mini splits!

Very impressed with how they came out and gave me an estimate and with in 1.5 weeks they had replaced my 30yr old A.C system . Very informative and thorough with what was going to be replaced and done. Plan to keep on using them. Very good and clean work done!!!! Highly recommended!!!!!
We recently purchased an old home that had two "bum" radiators. I bled them but that didn't do the trick so I called in a professional to help and ended up choosing Snelling for the job. Everyone I interacted with on the phone was so very kind, and the tech that showed up to our home was also fantastic! He fixed our issue, it ended up being a really simple fix (yay), and let me watch and ask questions. I learned more about our boiler system and feel like a more confident home owner. The tech was professional, really knowledgeable, and honest. Pricing was also very fair. Overall I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend Snelling Heating Cooling and Electrical to friends and family.
This is the 3rd time I've used Snelling for electric work, and the 2nd time Joe was my electrician. My experience all three times was outstanding. People were friendly, professional, did an excellent job and were very competitively priced I want to to mention Joe, who both times was just a pleasure to deal with. Snelling Company followed up within an a couple hours of my call and I was able to relay my issue and get the technician sheduled to come within 48 hours of my initial call. The technician was able to quickly identify and resolve the issue. The tech also recommended maintenance that I myself could do to ensure the HVAC system would operate more efficiently. The tech was friendly and is someone whom I would recommend to others needing heating and cooling repairs.
