Excellent service! This is the second home that we have used Boehm for installation of mini splits. Very pleased with their work!
We got our split units installed in late 2015 by Boehm. Had an issue with one yesterday and called them, fully expecting to have to make an appointment and pay for a service call. The woman on the phone talked me through a fix I could perform myself, then stayed on the phone with me until the fix was complete — all for no charge. All of my interactions with the folks at Boehm have been straightforward and honest, and I've found them to be great problem solvers. Thank you, good people of Boehm! I’m very impressed.

Boehm installed a mini split system in 2020 and a furnace in 2023. Both experiences were great - on time, explained everything, friendly and courteous staff. Great company to work with!

I emailed Boehm after hours for a non-urgent hot water boiler repair in my home. The scheduler called me the next morning and a service tech was at my house within a few hours the same day. I was impressed by their responsiveness and overall quality at a good value. I would definitely call them again!
Boehm Heating -- tops. Last month I went down in the basement to see why our boiler was making so much noise. Found the "heat tubes" were burned out, looked like a rusted out car. I called Boehm's and they came out the same day. Scheduled replacement for the next day. By 3p.m. they were done, and it's beautiful! The super fun part? I called them because there was a "Boehm" sticker on the old boiler. When I gave them my address, they could tell me they had put in the previous boiler *in 1982*! It was 41 years old, and had worked perfectly. So I had the perfect referral! Go with them, you won't regret it!

We had a great experience working with Boehm to install a new boiler and do some repairs to the piping system. They were patient and helpful, helped us work through the issues we were having, and helped us understand all of the steps throughout entire process. We've told others about how amazing they were to work with and have nothing but great things to say about them!

I've used Boehm twice and had really good experiences both times. Several years ago, the valve on one of my radiators was old, corroded, and started leaking. The guy came out, had to cut away some of the piping to remove the corrosion, inserted new piping, and a new valve, before he left, he asked to use the bathroom. On his way out he noted that the valve handle in the bathroom was gone (my new puppy liked it as a chew toy). He asked if I wanted him to replace it, and then he did, and charged me nothing extra for it. Recently, my boiler was running intermittently.. Standard Heating had installed it, so I called them. Big mistake (see my recent 1-star review of them, I recommend you stay very far away from them). They charged me $942 and the boiler still wasn't working properly after they left (would just stop working unless I turned it off and then back on again). After a couple of weeks of dealing with this, and talking to Standard, I called Boehm. Brian came out the next day, diagnosed the problem, replaced an $85 part, and re-did part of what Standard said they'd done, all for less than $300 (parts included) and now my furnace works perfectly again. Brian even gave me the extra time after I paid him to go through how I should maintain the boiler every fall before turning it on for the winter season. I highly recommend Boehm, and Brian was really great.
Boehm replaced our air conditioner and brought our previous AC installation up to code. They explained everything they were going to do and walked me through the estimate. They had to add a pump to drain condensation, and their installation was incredibly tidy. Everyone I talked to, from my first call to completion of the project, was friendly. Highly recommended.
I called Boehm because we had a radiator pipe that was leaking onto the drop ceiling in our basement. When I called and described the leaking pipe, I was told that only a couple of guys in their company replaced pipes and they didn't just come out, that a technician would need to come out first and verify what needed to be done. First availability for a technician was 3 weeks out. I scheduled it and 3 weeks later a guy came out. He did a minor repair to the boiler and a boiler inspection. Nice enough guy. He looked at the pipe and agreed that it needed to be replaced. He said that he would note that on his bill and he would personally mention it to the two guys as well and that if I didn't hear from them in a couple of days, to call the company. A couple of days later, I called the company. I explained what had transpired and the person who answered said that the company was very, very busy and it would be 'a very long time' before the guys installing boilers (and the ones who would be able to replace the pipe) would be able to do anything for me. I said that that's why I had called over three weeks earlier, to get on their list and she replied that the three and a half weeks wouldn't have made any difference. She said she would 'red flag' it though and the guys who did that work would call me. It's almost two weeks later and I have not heard anything from them. In the meantime, I called a competitor who came over within a couple of days, gave me a quote and replaced the pipe a week and a half after that.
BOOK NOW BECAUSE THEY ARE BUSY!! I just got a quote from the owner himself who came over to my home because it’s an older home and requires a personal touch to repipe. He gave me a great quote that I would be more than happy to go with because the other quote that I received from Hero Heating & Cooling was almost double the price of every other competitor including Boehm. In my other home I’ve had Boehm install a new boiler and hot water storage tank connected to the boiler so I never run out of hot water. Also I had them zone that basement so now I have three zones. I’m definitely going with Boehm because I know I can trust them to not rip me off and they do great work.
I only have positive and very good things to say about Jeff Boehm and his crew. Boehm Heating and Air Conditioning has been in business since 1945 and their knowledge, experience and expertise really shows! Plus their employees are appropriately licensed. They sold me a Daiken furnace that was correctly sized for my condo's square footage and heating needs. The installation was done very professionally and efficiently. Jeff even made arrangements to continue the furnace installation while I left for a dental appointment. I highly recommend Boehm Heating and Air Conditioning for anyone's heating and cooling needs. Boehm Heating and Air Conditioning is a very well established family owned company that is a pleasure to do business with!!
Boehm installed our mini splits in our home and did a great job on a big, complicated system. We chose to work with them because they were much more affordable than other local companies and they had knowledge and experience working in our home for decades before we had purchased it. They were very polite and great to work with, were respectful of our kids and animals, were efficient and on-time, and cleaned up after themselves.
Boehm installed mini splits into our new home this spring and we love them! The crew was professional and efficient, the project was completed early than expected and the price was far more reasonable than other quotes we received. We’ll definitely use Boehm again!
We selected Boehm to install AC mini-split system in our 1940 era home in June of 2022. The 2 reasons we chose them were that they had the best price, and we liked best their plan for where the units would be placed in the home. Within a week after the installation was complete, it stopped cooling. Here is where they earned our recommendation. They came out the day we called, Friday, identified there was a leak, charged the system until they could return after the weekend to fix the leak. The leak was fixed within a few hours and we have been cool ever since. Neither Boehm nor us want to be in a situation where a new $13,000 system doesn't work. But we found out how responsive they are when you need their help. 2 final points, If you like to work with family owned, local businesses like we do, Boehm is the epitome, during installation, Jeff, his father and his uncle were onsite, along with a few other technicians. One criticism I have is they can do better at pro-active communication. I found I would be the one to call to find out when installation was scheduled or when they would arrive for service. All things considered, we are very satisfied and think you will be too.
Bought a house recently and one of our bedrooms did not have heat. Tom came out and figured out the problem (and with no charge!). Tom and his crew came out later to put in new ductwork and they did a fantastic job! Even beyond installing, he took the time to explain about our furnace and how we can maximize our heating and cooling. I absolutely 100% recommend Boehm Heating & AC - the entire staff are professional, nice, and extremely knowledgeable.
