We have been using Joel Smith HVAC for over 10 years. When we first purchased our home there were several items that were in disrepair and the Joel Smith team was the only contractor we spoke with willing to help us trouble shoot and repair existing problems. Over the years the team has helped us navigate so many things in our aging home and they always have very cost effective and energy efficient solutions. We most recently replaced our furnace and upgraded our thermostats. The upgraded system is markedly better than what we had and they were able to help us find a solution to getting heat/air to an area of our home that would always be uncomfortable compared to the rest of the home. We would not consider working with anyone but the Joel Smith team and are very grateful for the relationship we have with them.
Our AC wasn't working well in our new house and I called J.Smith HVAC and they were able to schedule a tech quickly. Nick came out and was very professional and answered all my questions. It was a pleasant experience despite learning that we needed to replace our unit but I will be using them for the replacement as well and they are letting us use a portable AC in the meantime so we can sleep at night. Great value and great service, can't go wrong!
This business is professional and capable. I've had them do several jobs at my home, the most recent was installing a new furnace, and they have always been the best. They arrived on time, were quick, quiet and always otherwise considerate. I will never use anyone else.
Woke up in the middle of the night with no heat! Called at 8am Curt was here within an hour and a half diagnosed the problem and had the furnace up and running with in a few hours. Curt is very professional and took the time to explain and show me everything.
I’ve been using Joel’s Heating & Air for furnace tuneups for quite a while now. Their technicians are great at answering any questions I have and are very professional. I also used them last year to put in air returns and air ducts in our basement that we were finishing. They did a great job prepping everything to make the ceiling work easy for our contractor. I try to support local businesses when can and I’ve grown to trust the quality work from Joel’s.
I haven't kept up on maintaining my HVAC like I probably should as I have had multiple bad experiences in the past. I found Joel Smith through the AprilAire certified contractors list and was impressed from the first interaction. They are super easy to work with, got my repair scheduled quickly and the tech was friendly, on time, and took the time to explain all the repairs to me. I have found a new trusted contractor for HVAC...thanks Joel and team!

I’m thankful someone recommended Joel Smith Heating & Air to me because it’s the kind of company that you’ll never want to change from for your HVAC needs. A few years back, Joel helped us understand our HVAC options when our new-to-us house had some mold problems. Our A/C and Furnace were old and complicated enough that we decided to replace them completely. Joel’s sons, Kurt and Dustin, who run the company now, completed the install and have been maintaining them ever since. They also moved our A/C after installation due to a later remodeling project. Every time I’ve worked and talked with them, I’ve had a great experience. Prices are fair. Communication with Kurt’s wife, Ali, in the back office is great. The guys are trustworthy. And my A/C and Furnace work great. What more could I ask for?

My husband and I recently purchased a home with no working A/C and a pretty old furnace. We got quotes from a few different companies and Joel came in with one of the lowest quotes, but still providing us with quality products. From setting up the initial quote to the day of install and past, all employees were knowledge and helpful. As first time homeowners we definitely felt like we understood the work being done, and everyone was great with answering all our questions/concerns.

Joel Smith has a great BBB score, great online reviews, and is known by many in the community. Joe came out and gave me their options and quotes on new furnace installations. Time for a pre-winter furnace check-up so naturally we called Joel Smith Heating & Air Conditioning. The service is always prompt and Curt is professional, courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable. We'll be calling again in the Spring for an air conditioner check-up.
