Called for an estimate to rough the plumbing in on a small family home. I sent Derek my house plans and discussed with him what I needed done, that was three weeks ago today. I have not heard a word back from him or anyone at this company. I called the office three times toward trying to get the estimate or any other information and nobody answered. This company came highly recommended from a friend who’s friends with the owner Chris. They will not be recommending this company in the future either. My project was simple enough that Joe at L&S plumbing figured out what it would cost me in five minutes over the phone and with in the hour I had an actual estimate emailed to me. My advice to those looking for a plumber……. Call Joe, he will treat you right.
They helped us with multiple projects at our house. They did an excellent job for a competitive price and were great to work with.
This crew is great! Timely in an emergency situation, and knowledgeable enough to navigate my ridiculous heating/plumbing situation which we inherited from the previous owners. Our heat and hot water this winter is solely due to Shubitz P&H going the extra step.. thanks again!
Great work they just can never answer the phone. Tried to reach out on Facebook but can’t find one. Tried to reach out to the website but all i could find was an email. Makes it very difficult for me to do business with. Went with belknap plumbing a number of times simply because they are easier to get in touch with.
Looking for a quote? Keep looking from a different contractor because this particular contractor will keep you waiting. Update: Finally got back via phone and a “breakup” email. Both forms of communication were lacking in accountability and professionalism. I have a gas line job and understand not every one is comfortable doing that type of work. It’s ok to communicate a reason for not wanting to do a job… what ever the reason. I’m not mad, just very disappointed in the behavior. My students do better.
I needed two small jobs done - outside ancient faucet replaced and the faucet on our antique pedestal tub replaced. Chris took care of both and we much appreciated his quality work. We will have them back for a couple more small jobs later on. Don't hesitate to contact this business!
Amazing Service! They called me back after I left a message and were able to come out the same week to fix a corroded pipe. They arrived early surveyed the job site and got the necessary material. I have an older home with let say, "unique design" and it created a bit of an unexpected challenge. Chris handled it perfectly and addressed the issue. Not only is my problem fixed, but it works and looks better and we gained more space under the sink. Just amazing service, expertise and incredibly friendly. I will be recommending Shubitz to my friends and anyone else that asks.
First time I have attempted to use them. I called after hours and left a message. Never heard back.... it was not a big emergency but a call back to say they are too booked would have been appreciated.
They were very quick with their work. Something that would have taken me days, took them less than 2 hours. Did exactly what I asked. Very quality work. I would recommend.
Logan arrived on time for the job of fixing my sewer. He worked hard getting to the broken pipe under my concrete basement floor. Replaced what he needed, cleaned up the mess and repaired the concrete to finish the job. Thanks you Logan and Shubitz plumbing.
Called a few plumbers about an antique faucet that was leaky. In order to replace the faucet would require tearing up a portion of our older home. Schubitz Plumbing & Heating came over and disassembled the faucet cleaned things up and now the faucet doesn't leak. At some point it will have to be replaced and will cost a few thousand to do that job, so we were happy that someone was willing to try a repair that wasn't a big expensive job. Essentially the other plumbers that probably didn't want to take a "small" and low billing job have eliminated themselves from future business when we do need something more major. All the best!
Professional, friendly and excellent to work with. They did an amazing job on a two day project and we are so happy with the results. Thank you Shubitz Team!
Called them several times and left msgs...never heard back.
I worked with Shubitz for the first time today, and I couldn't be more happy with my experience. I've been a customer of another plumbing company for years, but after their merger and their decision to greatly increase prices to almost unethical limits, I decided to take a chance and try another plumbing company. I worked with Coleen to troubleshoot my clogged kitchen sink, and after we decided that I had tried everything within my power to unclog it, she helped schedule me with Derek. Derek was able to come out within an hour and a half of the phone call, and was very pleasant to work with. My kitchen sink was really clogged up bad, but Derek continued to work through it with me until it was completely unclogged and running smoothly. He cleaned up after himself, too. Overall, this was an excellent plumbing experience, and Shubitz has gained a new customer!
They have worked on several projects in our home and have without exception, done a top notch job from start to finish. They have answered my questions, explained what was wrong and how their intervention would correct the problem and bring everything to code. Everything has worked better than it had originally. And their rates are fair and reasonable.
Secretary was rude and hypersensitive. One track thought process. Try Not to talk to Coleen
Don't waste your time with Chris Schubitz he doesn't stand by his work and his secretary is one of the most condescending people you'll ever have the displeasure of speaking to. (That's right I'm talking about you Colleen).
Reasonable and very nice employees.
Too bad you can't give this company zero stars. They were out to my property to repair why dirt was coming up and out of the drain in a basement shower. They tore up the floor to the point I had to have new concrete poured to get my floor back. Needless to say it was a very expensive repair. You can imagine how upset one can be when the same thing happened again. I called them to come out and fix it. Shubitz P&H gave me the name of another company. They did this to avoid having to make the repair at no charge which is what a reputable company would do and instead just passed it on to someone else. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!
I came home to an unlocked backdoor and deep puddles all over my basement with broken glass in them. Noticed the glass was from my boiler's pressure gauge. The plumber knocked the glass out and just left it there. On top of that he left my washer disconnected. I had called to have my faulty backflow preventer boiler and charging system replaced so I could obtain and maintain pressure in my radiators. The plumber decided to ignore that and somehow spend two hours charging my boiler with my old leaky garden hose because he didn't want to go back to his truck for his own. When I finished cleaning up after him and called to relay my displeasure, they sent him back to replace the glass, fired him, and sent me a bill for the two hours and a pressure gauge. When I called to relay further displeasure with their unbelievable incompetence, they removed the pressure gauge from my bill. Not surprisingly, the pressure is low again now. Since the charging system was ignored I got a new hose and did the same job in about half an hour. I'll be calling a difdeent plumber to repipe my boiler and put radiant heat in my bathroom floor this summer. I recommend you do likewise.
