I noticed my water heater leaking, called right away in the morning. Tom was able to come the same day, on a Friday afternoon, purchased and replaced my old one in about 3 hours. Very nice to talk to, answered all my questions. I will definitely use their services in the future and will recommend to my friends and family!! He also fixed my kitchen faucet that had reduced my water pressure to almost nothing!
Tom was very professional very neat installation of a sub pump and a kitchen drain pipe going to the basement. He was punctual, cleaned up thoroughly after the job was done and kept me up-to-date on how the project was going. I would recommend this company to anybody that has a plumbing problem. Tom was so professional and friendly every time we've had him out. Our 102 year old house has had her issues, but Tom was always available timely to get us back running again. Office staff is great with scheduling and know we will recommend them to everyone we know. Thanks guys!
we needed some major work on our plumbing in our 100 year old house. Mike came and discussed everything we wanted done, emailed us a quote in a few days. We decided to go a head with the work the tech he sent was a terrific young man very very professional and explain everything he was doing and what needed to be done it was a 2 day project and i couldn't believe the amount of work he did by himself up and down the stairs with old concrete double sink, buckets of mixed concrete to repair floor. GREAT COMPANY. one thing i forgot we had practically no clean up he did such a good job. 3rd project for Kalkbrenner Plumbing and as in the past another great job, Tom showed up on time did the repair and because it better then they thought it would he cut the quote in half how many companies would do that when I had already agreed to a price, they are a 5 star company and will always use them. I am so pleased with the work of Kalkbrenner's. I have had a problem with hot water supply for many years in a relatively new home. Two plumbers, one recommending an installing a new water heater at great expense, have not been able to solve the problem. The plumber from Kalkbrennr's did and I now have unlimited hot water. It took a little time and some thought but he figured it out. If you need a problem solved, call Kalkbrennr's. Everything about the experience was exceptional.

The company vehicle drives in the left lane on the freeway and refuses to let people around him. I witnessed 4 vehicles pass on the right before I was stuck behind him. This is the second time this has happened to me with this company truck, so I thought calling their management would help. The girl who answered the phone said “I don’t know what you want me to do about it... we need to work.” But here’s the thing, you can drive to work and obey traffic laws just like everyone else. “Slower traffic move right” isn’t just a suggestion. If a company is so selfish that they think their work is more important than anyone else’s who use the freeway, then they def will not be getting any business from our household.
I live in the twin cities with a second home in Duluth. My 22 year old Bradford White 40 gallon hot water finally died. Desperate to get it replaced, I called Kalkbrenner. Tom K stopped by my place, and recommended a new Bradford 50 Gallon tank for added capacity. Kalkbrenner did everything! I wasn't even there for install. Love the new Bradford tank Tom K and crew at Kalkbrenner. Ill happily be calling Kalkbrenner for all my stuff from now on. Thanks Tom!!!
Kalkbrenner Plumbing was great! They have great email system in place that keeps up to date on the status of when the technician will be onsite. Tom did a great job installing my new water heater! and also putting in a new bathroom faucet and new copper plumbing!. Great job! ..Highly Recommend!

Pricing was upfront and fair. Tom cleared a clog and quickly replace a broken valve I asked about and he found flawed. He offered me all options in every situation. He also offered to check out other items in my new-to-me house I had questions on. I will definitely use them again. They were also recommended to me by a colleague.
Mike came out and did an excellent job installing a new spigot. He really sent time to explain what he was doing and made sure I was educated on how to keep it from freezing.
