Briant was wonderful. He worked so hard because the job went from looking like an easy install to an entire day of work. He was friendly, hardworking and my dog loved him so that tells you a lot 😋. We have used Blakeslee for everything from our furnace check to our AC unit to a huge plumbing issue we had. They are the best!

I appreciated that he took time to investigate and explain a couple other issues he discovered while fixing the current problem. He left good notes on these additional issues for my husband, as I’m not sure I would have been able to explain them. Briant had a very courteous and confident demeanor, a very nice guy!

I called to request urgent assistance this morning due to an interior water leak. Inspection/ repair services provided for our home were executed by Briant. The company scheduled me in an open time slot for 4-6hrs from my point of contact (note: same day; did not add me to a fictitious waitlist to finally make it to me at the end of the day, following business hours). I received a call back within 20 mins from my initial call, letting me know they were sending someone for service immediately, due to a cancellation. The fact that the company recognized my concern over the phone & attentively responded with sending service to me so rapidly, upon cancellation of another client, is in and of itself, levels above the customer service found at the majority of customer-facing businesses. I received very similar service from this company 3yrs prior, during another water emergency, where a drain separated & water flowed from the first floor into the basement. The person providing service to the home on that visit, exceeded expectations. Upon Briant’s prompt arrival today, I was on a work call with my leadership. In attempt to not interrupt the direction being received, I gestured to the area I believed the leak was originating. Our service responder acted rapidly & respectfully and had the issue identified, mitigating any further damage; all before I was able to exit my call. This was an extremely critical work day & I was at peak stress levels. After my call, I was provided with options, including the pros & cons of each; this was highly appreciated. I had a list of plumbing concerns throughout areas of my home, which were addressed swiftly, and I felt my questions were responded to knowledgeably & thoroughly. The level of professionalism and expertise, as well as patience shown for my questions & work circumstances were beyond expectations. So their quote came in lower than the competition by a lot. However they quoted a drain pain underneath the furnace which is code I believe and also running a thermostat wire. We left the house because we had a meeting and the furnace was installed without the drain pan and the new wire. That same night the furnace wouldn't run due to some internal issue from the factory and we smelled gas around it. They sent the same guy out who didn't follow the quoted install and he fixed the leak / got it running. Needless to say at this point I wasn't very happy. I called and complained and asked for 700 dollars off my install thinking the furnace wire was about 250 or so to properly run. The drain pan was 80-100 and having a furnace installed improperly would cover the rest. The owner said they would only do 500 and because I wasn't in the mood to go back and forth, I took that. This essentially covered the miscalculated parts and labor and really didn't do much to cover the inconvenience / improperly installed furnace without the drain pan. Fast forward to 4 months later... We are smelling gas in our office above said furnace. There are several other propane appliances under the office and the regulator is outside the window. We call our propane company out and they found a gas leak in the same exact area the last leak was on, on the furnace. I call Blakelee back because I think this is sad and ridiculous. The first thing out of his mind when I said that our propane company is fixing the leak is why didn't you call us? For one, I didn't know it was the furnace... Two they haven't done a great job up to this point. After complaining and giving the manager my thoughts about the situation. There was no offer to make things right further other than telling me that they fired the guy who installed our furnace.
