Charged me a $109 Service fee to show up and then an additional $100 labor fee to unclog a PVC water drain line for the humidifier. Guy was here 20 minutes. Never again.

Scare tactic city. Rude, condescending, pushy, and expensive. Did not use and wouldn't trust. The equivalent of the doctor who prescribes radical surgery of amputation for an ingrown toenail. Not how to win business. Not this day and age. After all of his exaggerations and scare tactics, he left without replacing the furnace cover. When I put the cover on, I discovered he had left it set on heat without telling me...with a broken blower motor, and it started running that way. (So help me if I discover damage!!!!) I called somewhere else and found my special order blower motor and service for $200 less... And way more respect. Almost felt like disputing the charge for the "service call" with my credit card company on the basis that it wasn't a real diagnosis; it was a con job and scare tactic. About as bad as I've ever experienced. (Oh, and don't yell at people in their house and tell me that's how you talk). You were trying to capitalize on my misfortune, and I wouldn't bite, and you were desperate sounding. You owe me for my time and degradation. His vibe left me with a nagging feeling like even if I did give him the business, he'd keep finding more problems to charge me for that he may even have invented or created. Just that gut feeling of crookedess and I was concerned he might sabotage the furnace and tell me it was worse than it really was to get more out of me. The tech even called me back after I expressly told the office not to call me again because of the horrible treatment. If this company has any decency, they will refund my $109 so-called "service" fee and more for the lost time they stole that I could have given to someone else.

Had two air conditioning units freezing up in a new home. Called and Dan came out first thing the next morning. He was clean, polite, professional and knowledgeable. Explained what he was doing and why. Explained what I could do to make my system more efficient. Dan was trustworthy and earned my service business for the rest of my time in this home. Can’t say enough.

I would have given 2 or 3 stars but I decided on 4 stars because of Oscar, the third technician who came to service our newly installed HVAC after it started making a horrific noise. I don't think the original Mastercraft installers did a great job because they didn't make the air duct big enough for the unit or our home. Two technicians were sent to fix the noise; each stayed maybe 10 minutes (outside only) swearing they had solved the problem (spoiler alert: the didn't). Then Oscar came. He spent 2 hours here, both in the basement and outside, made the air duct bigger, replaced the filter and waited diligently to see if the noise returned. When it did, he dug deeper and found that one of the installers had apparently LEFT THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL AND A STYROFOAM BLOCK inside the coil, which was making the noise and disrupting air flow. He was also super courteous, friendly and efficient. Oscar deserves a raise. Everyone else should be fired or at the very least, retrained.

The AC installation team for a new mini-split system was amazing. Fast, kind, & clean. The new units are fantastic and do an amazing job of cooling the bedrooms on the second floor of the house. Like any major project, this didn't come cheap, but the difference in comfort and summer electricity bill is already noticeable. The loss of a star comes from the electrical work side. I needed to have the breaker panel upgraded as part of installing the new AC system. The main issue was the electricians were not scheduled until the second day of the project, but when I had asked I was told they would be there on the first day. This was frustrating since I had taken the first day off and told the others in the house the power would be off day 1 but be back by the end of that day. It also seemed like the AC crew might have been able to complete the job in 2 days rather than the extra half day they needed because they had to leave on day 2 because they hit the point where they could not do anymore work since the electrical work wasn't done. Hopefully this sort of project planning can be improved for other customers looking at similar work.

Had a very old (1960's) boiler that finally crapped out. Had a new boiler installed. Tech that handled getting me set up was good, technicians that installed stayed all day to ensure I had heat before they left. New boiler is working great. This review is 4.5 to 4.75 stars as they did leave my basement a little messy after the install but it was a difficult job as I needed new piping & venting to my boiler as well. Overall good experience, I plan to use MasterCraft moving forward for my heating needs.

I had duct cleaning and Marcus was very thorough and professional. He was respectful of our home, but since the cleaning had never been performed and he started in the afternoon another day was needed for completion. Because the alarm company ran some wires through the ductwork, the system was compromised. Oscar Castilo arrived and together we were able to pinpoint the exact run to rectify the issue. Oscar was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and respectful. In no time the alarm was fully functioning. Mastercraft was recommended to me and I will definitely do the same. Would have given more stars if they were available because they go above and beyond. Thanks

Beware of this place!!! They are rude and liars!! They overcharge you for things and misdiagnosis the problem to get a more money!!! I’ve had heat the entire time I’ve lived here and I had them come out and check it and now all of a sudden my heat isn’t working! I just needed the air to work, if they couldn’t fix it just say that because now I don’t have heat nor air! They cut pieces off my furnace and all of sudden my home is cold… Dan is rude he hung up in my face and Steve just doesn’t listen and then lies about calling you back but never do!!! If you can help it please go to someone who isn’t money hungry and trying to get over on you!!! Worst customer service and I will be getting my money back!!

Needed my furnace looked at due to low heat. The technician was okay and explained what the issue was according to their knowledge, but I wish they would have focused more on the heat issue (which is what I initially called them for), rather than focusing on a non-heat issue that would cost me well over $5,000 and a non-heat issue that I’m not concerned about right now.

One of my bedroom ducts had somehow been closed making that bedroom noticeably colder during the winter. The repairman, Oscar Castilo, quickly figured out the issue and despite having a finished basement ceiling, was able to get the duct opened for me. He also gave me several tips for my 1-yo furnace to help me keep it operating properly. I'll definitely request Oscar again for furnace issues!
