Did not call me back this time, last time did a good job
Matt was amazing. He made it out within a half hour from our original phone call. He identifies the issue and was able to get the air back up and running. Great rates and super attentive.
I'm often skeptical of reviews that are all 5 stars. Well, I decided to put my cynicism aside and trust for once - and am I ever glad I did. Matt is a complete professional. Highly knowledgeable, honest, happy to explain the situation, and incredibly conscientious about ensuring the system is working right. The pricing is very reasonable - but on top of that, he did everything in his power to save us money and do the least expensive repair necessary. Plus, he's just a great guy. I have a new go-to heating and cooling company. Simply cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you to the previous reviewers for making the time to post.
Matt is an extremely honest guy who tried to walk me through things over the phone to save me the cost of a visit. It's great to find an honest person and company in this industry.
I am so extremely happy! This is such an honest and professional company. They only make promises that they can deliver on. They installed a unit in our bonus room that is incredible. When they left, you never would have even known that they were there. Both the inside and outside were spotless. I am thoroughly impressed with this company and would definitely recommend them to anyone. My only wish is that we would have found them when we had installed the main unit for our home seven years ago. Do yourself a favor; give them a call. You won't be sorry!

These guys are the best- Matt does all the work on our house and is always quick to get ahold of if there is a problem. There contract to to all the work on heating/ AC is such a great deal-I've had them do work for over 10 years and they have always been fantastic.
I have used A-1 for years and love the prompt services and fair prices. Matt even helped me out with a water heater replacement when the home warranty service wasn't offering much help. He intervened and was able to obtain and install a new water heater for a very fair/reasonable co-pay. He does my twice yearly checks on my AC and furnace and I feel that my systems have been well maintained. I know if I need to replace either one, I would not go any place but with A-1. Matt has always shown integrity and fairness whenever I have called for any matter. This is a GREAT local company!!

This is an outstanding company. Matt just came to my house to look at my furnace and was able to quickly fix it and give me advice on water heaters. I can not stress how easy Matt is to work with. He is honest and very accurate on his estimates. I will never look for another heating and cooling person ever again!
Matt installed a furnace and air conditioner and he was supposed to reinstall my old working air cleaner but he didn't yet with many years he checked my furnace and air conditioner and sold me new air filters knowing full well there was no air cleaner he has cheated me out of hundreds of dollars he will not return my air filter unless I pay more
Matt has replaced my furnace, water tank and recently my air conditioner. He's great!! Shows up on time ,is very conscientious , fair prices
Matt come out to diagnose an issue with our A/c unit and quickly discovered it needed to be recharged. Very up front and honest about everything without eye gouging prices. He even came on short notice ( within the hour) which is surprising this guy isn't always busy! The best! Would highly recommend him to anyone
We called Matt on Monday morning and he was there to get our furnace working before the end of the day. He was very courteous and professional. Also, the price was right. I always am skeptical of these reviews. In this case believe what you are reading.
I like to thank Matt and his helper for all their help. Matt is a good guy one who doesn't rip off his customers, his work ethics are outstanding! Its really nice to be able to know your taken care of and the work that was done was professional and complete... Matt was referred to me by Vert's Home Maintenance. I called Matt today at 12:30, and due to a cancellation, he and his team came to my house at 3pm to diagnose my 1992 central air unit. He quickly found the issue, and had the A/C up and running by 4pm. Great response, at a great price.
We recently had our central air conditioner stop working and called Consumers Energy to come out since we had the Appliance Service Plan. We did not get the news we wanted...our compressor was bad and we needed a new unit. The company Consumers sent out quoted a ridiculous price, so I got 2 more bids. After searching Google, I called Matt at A-1 and he was fair, prompt and courteous. He worked hard to make sure our new unit was in place as soon as possible. I cannot say enough positive things about his service and great work ethic. I will be referring my friends and family with HVAC service needs to A-1. Thanks Matt!
