Root's Heating & Cooling is the best in the business!!!!! We bought our new TRANE XR14 central-air conditioning system from them for our 2nd home, and we love it. The best company to use for your heating and cooling needs. I called their office to get an AC unit removed and replaced. They were super prompt with service and communication. I highly appreciate Joe and Neil for the wonderful set up. Will be using for all future needs.
Gary responded promptly, and I was able to get my repair done quickly. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful. This is the second project for which I have hired Roots due to their excellent service and quality combined with reasonable price.

Our heat went out on a Friday. A service tech was out quickly and after determining the issue, explained we needed a new furnace. A sales rep was out soon after and went over our options. After making a decision they let us know they could install our new furnace Monday AM! They even offered us space heaters to get us through the weekend. Joe and Ethan were out first thing and by noon we had heat again. Everyone explained and went over all the details and made sure we were satisfied. I’m very happy I made my initial call to Roots Heating and cooling.
He was very nice and I appreciated that he kept me informed of what he was doing and why. Very professional.
Our furnace died Christmas evening and Roots came out the next day to evaluate. Our unit was over 20 years old and we decided to replace versus repair. Joe and staff were knowledgeable and friendly and put together proposals and financing options. The installation technicians were professional and punctual. They explained our new system thoroughly and completed the job in a day to get us out of the cold. I cannot recommend Roots highly enough and will gladly give them business in the future.

Hands down some of the best customer service ever. I really appreciate the phone call asking if they could come earlier than our appointment time. The updates on the whereabouts of the technician were just above and beyond. The technician (I believe my husband said his name was Mason, I didn't get to meet him) was very professional and thorough. I was worried that my older furnace would need work but he explained that the issues were minor and took care of it. I am very pleased. My furnace has not ran this good in years. I can't even hear it running. I highly recommend Roots!
Great service, very timely and courageous I love the system they use to notify me when someone is coming as it makes it so easy to know when they will be at my place. No problem recommending this company.
When we bought our home it did not have central air or heat. We were so lucky to find Root's Heating and Cooling to do the work for us. They have been very knowledgable, professional and a pleasure to do business with. We are very pleased with the system we purchased and the service we received. I’ve used this company 3 times in Birch Run, 2 times in Flint, and 2 times in Tawas (All different properties). Customer service is great and their work is superb! Highly recommend.

Very professional and courteous. They did a great job replacing our ancient furnace with a hi-efficiency model. Cleaned everything up when they were done.
Had Roots out to fix my old furnace. Very polite and knowledgeable. Fixed it pretty quick and the rate they charged was fair. (A drain line was plugged so he just had to clean it out) I also had them out when I bought my house last year because my inspector told me to replace the furnace, since it's old. Roots inspected it and told me it was in great shape and there was no need to replace it. I really appreciate that kind of honesty.

Called for furnace quitting. Came out quickly. Didn't repair problem, but got it working again. Furnace quit again a couple hours later. Contacted them again, didn't respond until the next day. Wasn't impressed with that.
