Fixed hose leak on stove that they installed 2 yrs ago, I also asked for second opinion on furnace and was told it was fine. Furnace shut down by gas company due to fire hazard and had to replace furnace for same reason stated by first company. Charged $385.
They left, my water heater was off. Both techs claimed not to have touched it. #seriously. Never again.

A personal phone call from Brian today went a long way. Brian did point out my issue was a drainage problem and not an issue with the furnace, About the markup on a part in question it is most company's, if not all, who carry parts in the service vehicle, a common practice to upcharge on the cost of said part. He is also correct in the diagnostic of the issue, so I do understand that the cheapest is not always the best. I have received good service in the past, sometimes I don't agree with pricing, but since I have only done business with Thompsons P&H for over 25 years I may be getting a great deal, but must agree that I am getting timely service. Will continue to do business with them. Thank you Brian.
Highly recommend for water heater repair. Gary D from Thompson was just here to look at my water heater. I was very impressed with his troubleshooting and professional manner. The problem was fixed in no time flat!
