I appreciate the professionalism unlike the other companies I've encountered
I have used Karolyi's several times for various projects, including new A/C unit, repairs, and electrical work. They are always very prompt, honest and fair. If they can't do something or are very busy, they will tell you.
Rude on the phone. tried charging $1000 when 5 other companies came in between $250-300 literally called back and harassed my wife 3 times. Definitely wouldn't use this company if it were my last option
I was in need of a service part for a hot water tank. I called and spoke to Steve. Steve didn't sell the part, but he took the initiative to find it for me at a local distributor. He called me back in 15 minutes with a location and a price. Steve went above and beyond to help me, even though I wasn't a customer to Karolyi's. Very appreciated Steve...thank you!
For the health and safety of you and your loved ones I highly recommend against letting this company In your home. especially anywhere near a gas fired appliance. The owner Steve has displayed a gross lack of install and safety knowledge on the product's he sells and installs. if you are one of the unfortunate consumers he has conned into letting him do work on your house I urge you to get a licensed contractor or inspector to come and go over his work.
Matt has been very professional, honest and competitive, I really recommend this company! Coming from Belgium, I've been 3 years here in the US, and you can clearly hear a little accent behind ;) I heard all kinds of things from 'heat&cooling' companies when I asked them to quote repairs or new furnaces - all I needed was a honest opinion based on experience, a good quote and a qualitative service , thanks Matt - job is done!
I own and operate a Dairy Queen. One of my coolers went down. After contacting the after hours line Matt and another technician arrived. They diagnose the problem, gave me options and ultimately fixed my cooler and I’m back up and running. You can’t ask for more professional, prompt and all-around great service. I’ve used Karolyi’s for the past 6 years and have never been let down.
Matt was fantastic! He came out on a late Friday afternoon, fixed a problem that several other companies could not for months. He communicated status, and was friendly and professional.
Very professional business. No BS. Our heat went out. The same day two technicians showed up. Knowledgeable. The blower motor was shot. Very quick response to get one for a 32 year old furnace .Matt is personable. Texted me at every point. Would highly recommend to my family and friends.
Our furnace went out late on a Saturday night. We called Sunday morning and had two technicians out right after breakfast. Thankfully, it was a quick fix, but they stayed on site for a while to make sure the furnace ran (and stayed running!). Thank you so much!
Why did you just hang up on me? Is your technician coming by 10 ? Or you just want to cancel the appointment? I made a note that I made an appointment at 10 this morning! And I asked you to hold for 1 second on the phone but you just hung up. I tried calling your company right after and you didn’t answer.What is going on? You coming or what? Wow, I want to hear again the call if that’s possible. I was going to appreciate your service if it ever happened. But you just made me a bad person. I did not even get a chance to be explained how this happened. You just hung up! I just needed an explanation and how we can fix this. But you never answered my call! How could this happen? Wow. I am so surprised how you react.
Steve promptly assisted me this past summer when my central air unit quit during a heat spell and while I was studying for a certification. He was able to send a technician (Dane) out the same day the issue occurred and had a new AC unit installed within a few days. I also experienced an issue with my water heater recently and once again Steve was able to send Dane out to fix the problem the same day I called. The work performed was reasonably priced and was of sound quality.
Extremely professional friendly and honest
I called to make an appointment to have my unit looked at and the operator I spoke with gave me some advice on what to try and looked at first. His recommendations help and save me from spending money and time. I highly recommended them and if I have any issues in the future they will receive my business.
Just in case anyone else is planning on calling for their AC unit. I asked they can replace my AC unit and was told they're "not interested in that kind of work" no explanation given but I'm going to guess they only do heating? 🤷
Hired Karolyi's to replace our furnace after a fire. I provided the owner our insurance adjusters contact and claim number. They took care of all of the correspondence regarding the insurance directly. This is exactly what we needed during a very stressful time. Karolyi's technicians arrived when scheduled, were very professional and did amazing work. They even went out of their way to inform of us of other issues caused by the fire unrelated to their scope which I'm sure saved us some future headaches. Bottom line is they: were easy to work with, did more than was expected, completed everything as originally scheduled, kept us informed and honored their quotes. I would challenge anyone to find another contractor in any trade that checks all of those boxes.
Cannot recommend Karolyi's enough! They are very prompt, personable, and professional. I worked with Steve and it was very apparent that he is super knowledgeable and knew exactly how to fix my home radiator issue. Being a new homeowner, Steve gave me some tips on keeping up with our boiler system, which I thought was very cool. Thank you!
Had a flower cooler to be pumped out and they came to the rescue . We were last minute when we called and they moved their schedule around to accommodate me . The service was excellent Dane was our service guy . I was very happy with all their services from answering my call to doing the job right down to not charging me a arm and leg . Highly recommended them and would use them again . Lisa
