I called the 24 hour emergency line. Because my furnace wasn't heating the lady I talked to said the technician would get back with me this was at 10 p.m. and at 6a.m. the next day I still hadn't heard from anyone..
I was amazed at how quickly I could get an appointment. (I appreciate anything within a weeks time.) The technician, Payton, came out within the stated appointment time and was very thorough and professional. He explained everything that he did, which I appreciated. We will definitely be using them again.
We just bought a new house, and it came with a brand new furnace and AC, installed by Comfort First. We have been having some issues with the heating cycle. I called Brad and he got our warranty transferred, and sent Josh out to take a look. Our issues were difficult to track down but Josh stayed with it. He contacted to factory rep to discuss and got our repairs included under warranty! I am impressed with their work ethic and professionalism. Things dont alway work perfectly but its nice to know that Comfort First stand behind their work and has the skilled techs who can figure out these more complicated systems. Well done! Alan Heaviland
They came out this week to fix the heating issue the tech was unsure what the problem was they installed a new innighter the most expensive one . Costinge alot more then what it should have then the tech was surprised to have fixed it. Will be looking for a new company in the future sad because I have used you for 25 +years
They did a good job installing a new boiler. I'd hire them again.
So woke up this morning to notice my heater wasn’t working so I called consumer and thx god they send me this pro when they called they said it will take an hour to get there but we’re at my house w in 10 min. Then looked at it run out and grabbed the part and fixed it. I’m recommending them from now on to all my friends and fam. Thx Sam for all ur effort.
Pilot would not stay lit on the furnace at work. Called one business, they came out & said best to replace furnace for $3800-$4900. Called Comfort First & their visit resulted in replacing a wire for $318. I trust Comfort First to do what is needed instead of trying to sell you what is best for their profit.
I called Comfort First in the morning to find out if I could disconnect and remove an old AC unit that was in the way of an addition I was working on. They said it really should be done by a professional given the need to deal with Freon in the system and that was consistent with google search information. Since they knew it was in our way, they said they could have someone come out that day to disconnect it. It was done by mid afternoon. I’ve used Comfort First on other occasions for other HVAC work and have found them to be consistently easy to work with.
Great company!! Came and diagnosed the problem. Picked up the part and repaired the unit within 3 days!! Recommend this company.
Peyton was great by explaining information about our heating system. Great to talk to also.
The tech was very professional, courteous, and efficient.
Prompt, friendly service at a competitive price.
I just had Comfort First install a new furnace and central air, I very happy with their professionalism and their work ethic. They’re polite and nice and know what they’re doing. I had them install a new gas line a month ago for the new gas range I bought I’m very happy with all the the work they’ve done for me.
A tech left our home at 6:30pm in January without us having any heat after installing a water heater. We didn’t figure out why our furnace wasn’t working until after 8:00. He had turned the gas off to our home and then left without telling us or making sure our pilot was back on. We also didn’t have hot water for another 2 days until another tech came out because the first tech never turned on one of our pumps. This was a $3,000 job and we were left with our house smelling like cigarettes and no heat in the middle of winter (not from Jeff who was great, it was the first tech). We went without hot water for over 3 weeks to do business with this company because of their ratings but we didn’t have a good experience at all.
Technician quickly diagnosed the problem with the furnace not reaching temperature (overheating of heat exchanger), and helped with a temporary fix. Eventually furnace will need replacement.
