This is my second review on this company and I have to say that I am very impressed with their service. The supervisor tech Jamaal was superb. When the other techs were busy on other jobs, he assured me he would get the job done himself so that I wouldn't have to take off any more work. He made sure my AC was up and running with no delays, even if it was well after their quitting time. I truly appreciate that. He is knowledgeable and answered all of my questions in terms I can understand them. Thank you soooooo much! I will be calling again if I need assistance in the future.
Was willing to come out after 10pm in a pinch when my a/c unit went down and I let DTE know that my husband couldn’t be in the heat and humidity with his CPAP machine. They were willing to step up and take a look late notice and late night. Diagnosed, fixed, and prescribed! Took their contact information and leaving this all thumbs up review. Professional and on point!
C.J. is the person to ask for repairs of AC systems. C.J. took the time to really look over the system and tell me what maybe wrong with it. Today C.J. fixed my AC and he stayed longer to make sure everything is working properly. He was so polite and answering any questions I had asked. Wow his father taught so so well. Get this company if you want your repairs done right. I never thought of taking a picture.

After DTE determine that my boiler was unrepairable they referred me to Manning Mechanical. Mr. Carlin was very thorough in explaining the boiler replacement process.This was a very unexpected purchase and I'm so appreciative for the kindness that Manning Mechanical showed in going over and beyond in assisting me with financing. The day of boiler installation everyone arrived on time and each one having their responsibilities they were knowledgeable, professional and respectful. They totally cleaned up behind the installation and explained all the upkeep for me to retain a proficient working boiler for years to come. An Awesome Experience!! I will refer anyone in need of such services.
The company was in consistent communication with me and provided updates leading to my service appointment. When they arrived at my home and during the appointment they were friendly and professional.
Can we say HEAVEN SENT!! The team I worked with was awesome! I had been putting band-aids on a bullet womb for approximately 8 years and my furnace finally died... time of death 1:00 p.m. Sunday, 01/22/23. YIKES!!! DTE blessed my household by routing my service call to Manning Mechanical. Kerwin inspected my furnace and immediately determined the cause for its failure. He contacted his manager, Rodney, who came to inspect the furnace as well. My consultation with Rodney determined the best course of action was to replace the furnace. Since my A/C unit began to die this Summer, I elected to replace both. Rodney discussed finance options, provided the application information and I was financed and scheduled for installation by the end of the day. A very smooth process!! My installation team, Julius and Clifford were great to work with. They were punctual and cared about making sure that I was satisfied. Clifford missed his Starbucks run to ensure he was timely, and I could see that I blessed his soul when I offered him coffee! :) Everyone, including the office staff, was extremely polite and patient, welcomed my questions and answered them in great detail. The owner also called to ensure the work met my expectations... much appreciated! I highly recommend Manning Mechanical for professional, fast and quality service! This is a GREAT company to trust with your heating and cooling needs!!
Came in home to do a hot water tank repair. Refused to repair or put back together to its original working condition.. gave a quote of replacement than price went up to a way higher amount the next day.. dte sent them out and I have reported it to dte... I would not advise wasting your time with this company for its a ripoff who wants you to finance their work.
I found out about Manning Mechanical through the DTE program. My furnace stopped working on Christmas Eve. DTE send Manning Mechanical out to inspect my furnace. From the first encounter to the last this has been the best experience I ever had. Kerwin, Rodney, Cliff and Daryl. What professional gentlemen. After the furnace was installed, I had a follow up concern and Cliff was back out to my house within the hour. I can't say enough good things about this company. Thank you for the professionalism, integrity, energy and the great spirit you brought to this job.
I am writing this review for my parents as they are not very good with technology to do it themselves. Manning Mechanical came out their house and were very professional, extremely friendly and did a great job putting in a new humidifier for them. An outstanding company to use and will continue to use and support them by referring to anyone I know needing their services. Thank you again to The Manning Crew!
My wife called DTE for service for our furnace. DTE deployed Manning Mechanical. I rarely post reviews, but in this case I had to give a big shout out to my service tech "Jamaal Franklin". His service was exemplary from start to finish. I asked him to leave some business cards so that I could share this awesome company with my family and friends. Thank you Manning Mechanical for the great service.
First things first, Manning Mechanical is a precious jewel in our community. They offer topnotch service, with a skilled and professional staff. What was most impressive, these were young men, that displayed a through knowledge of their craft and were consummate gentlemen. Being both kind and courteous worthy of emulating; don't tell me what are young men can't do just give them a chance. My boiler was replaced in a manner that I still marvel at and I continue to refer to them as a stellar crew. Special shout out to the gentlemen that continue to serve as a tech/support providing service a year after the boiler was replaced, Daveaun Curtis. God bless you, continue to do the excellent job that you are doing and I wish you well with extended service to a community that needs the quality service that you have served me so well.
If I could rate this company a million stars I would. The service I received was beyond my expectations. They truly don’t make many companies like Manning Mechanical. Over the course of 2 years I had my boiler repaired, thermostat replaced and the boiler was ultimately replaced after being serviced by another company that ruined it. I was devasted and had no clue where to begin as a first time homeowner. Carlin immediately jumped in and did everything in his power to help. I couldn’t afford to pay for a new boiler right away so I saved for a few months and even as I saved, he checked on my home periodically to see if there was anyway he could help. That speaks volumes of his character, he was so kind, personable and professional, every tech he sent out was the exact same way, and I’ve had atleast 6 people come out over the course of 2 years! Very kind, respectful and they truly are experts at what they do and it’s not just work, they take pride in what they do. I had a new pennco boiler installed in October and process was so easy! They coached me through properly caring for my new equipment. Showed me step by step on how to do maintenance and explained everything with patience! Everyone at Manning Mechanical is truly amazing! A1 staff! I feel as though my dollar was well spent and they valued me as a customer! I would only recommend MM for any service, they are the best of the best!
Dancaille Robinson came out and did the service he did a nice job of running down the problem had to replace a thermostat did a nice clean up and everything went well.
Got my new furnace and a/c installed 2weeks ago by Darryl and cliff they were very professional and experienced. Darryl showed me and my son how to work our new wifi thermostat which is awesome. He was very knowledgeable about our new system and answered all of or questions. The sales rep Rodney was very professional as well. This company deserves 10+ star's I would recommend them for sure.1
Technician Dan was on time.As he serviced the boiler he explained everything he was performing and checking and reason for the check. Also he was pleasant. Dan gave his advice what should be addressed and how often.He was knowledgeable. He was not out to take advantage of a elderly person or anyone less knowledgeable of the service. My mother had a awful experience with a technician from an other company. Thank you Manning! Manning is the go to company for your heating needs.
