The technician came out and serviced the A/C in preparation for the summer. He was punctual, respectful, kind, and personable. He also walked through all the work I was hoping to get done throughout the house, offered reasonable solutions and alternatives, and ensured what was overall an informative visit.
Air conditioner broke in a heat wave and they were able to install a new unit within a few days.

Once again, Simple Heating and Air did the job right! Not only did they come repair the air conditioner on a Sunday, they did not charge me anything because they said it was still under warranty! Honest, prompt and hardworking! There is no business better at getting heating and cooling jobs done!

These guys are great! They were super responsive when the blower stopped working on our furnace with 90 degree weather. They found an obscure part on an old furnace and had it repaired the next day.
Excellent service from Wayne and the team. We have a 1920's house and it was a difficult install but they went above and beyond to make it work. I couldn't recommend them more highly. Excellent work all round.
Simple Heating and Air is a company you should definitely consider, as I highly recommend them. They are highly professional and treat you like family. You are not just another service call to them. The take time with you. Dan came out today and perused my AC and furnace, both of which are nearing their final resting place. We were told by another company that we had to completely replace our furnace or spend thousands on repairs. We contacted Simple Heating for another quote and they told us our furnace had another 7-10 years and only needed a small repair. They were honest and fair and we will be calling them again in the future!
The Simple Team was quick to respond to my need. They were very courteous and helpful in diagnosing problems with several HVAC units. They freely shared their recommendations for maintenance and were creative in problem solving for a unit install we asked them to estimate.
Excellent!!! I made the mistake of calling one of the bigger contractors in the Grand Rapids area (rhymes with Shander Bide) to work on our AC unit first. They came out and told me, without testing anything, that at a minimum my issue was cost 1600.00 and another option was 2400.00. I was also going to be needing a new water heater (not why I called) and my furnace could be replaced (not why I called). That sounded ridiculous. I needed a second opinion. I called Simple Heating and Air Conditioning. Tech came out. Super friendly. Walked me through what he was doing. They fixed the issue for 350.00. He didn't try to up sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need. Thank you! That's how you earn a customer.
I had Simple Heating & Air replace my old combo heating & domestic hot water boiler, with a Viessmann combo boiler. They did an exceptional job of designing a system & installing it. The installation was so well thought out and the craftsmanship was so great that it looks like a piece of art. The installation was in a small boiler room, but Wayne Meeks was able to arrange all the necessary components in a compact & efficient layout so that any future maintenance will be possible. Wayne's knowledge of heating systems is very impressive, much better than talking to someone that is just a salesman. All the employees of this company work together as a team, they get a lot of work done very quickly & they seem to really enjoy what they were doing. The boiler works fantastic. I tested the hot water heating part of the system by filling our hot tub up for the season, which takes 4 to 5 hours. It put out so much hot water that I had to temper it down with cold water. The old system would totally run out of hot water after a hour. We would have to let the hot tub heater finish heating itself, taking 24 hours. I am totally happy with everything that Simple Heating & Air did. I would recommend them to anyone that wants an exceptional heating or cooling system installed.
Simple Heating And Air replaced my old central air unit. Their bid was competitive and fair, and their work was top notch. But, what impressed me most was their communication. I have had so many service companies in the past just show up, or no show or be impossible to get a response from. Everyone at Simple Air showed up when they said they would. They would even send a text reminder when they were on the way and who was coming. They were never late and even accommodated texting me on arrival vs. knocking for my baby's nap. They did what they said they would in a timely manner, and left everything clean. Not to mention every tech I dealt with and Amy in the office were friendly and easy to work with. I wish more home service companies would operate in this manner. If I ever need HVAC work in the future Simple Heating And Air will be my first call.
I've used these guys twice so far and both times have been a pleasant experience. The first time I had several code updates that needed to be done on a rental property(chimney sleeve, updated furnace and water heater vents, and updated gas valve). The second time was to inspect furnace and permit/install a new water heater. They were great with communication, showed up on time, and kept me up to date with everything happening in the process. Five star service!
