I would recommend this company to anyone needing their services. Martin arrived promptly, did excellent work, and left the spaces in which he worked in good order. He was knowledgeable and pleasant in all our interactions. Do yourself a favor if you are looking for a plumbing or heating professional and call him.

We discovered significant water in our basement at 10pm on a Saturday night just a week before Christmas. Water was coming from the bottom of our water heater...and it needed to be replaced. We reached out to Washtenaw Plumbing and Heating that night...and were surprised to get an immediate response. Martin was able to be at our house the next morning (Sunday!) and replaced our water heater for us. He was kind, professional, and fast! We were exceptionally impressed and would highly recommend.
We called them in an emergency water leaking throughout the house situation. They responded quickly and got us in right away. Martin was helpful and professionally! I highly recommend him and his company!!

Martin did a great job. He took the extra time and effort to make sure that the toilet was working properly. He didn't give a half-hearted effort, which I really appreciated.
Cameron was professional, courteous and thorough. I was very impressed and thankful we called in the pros. We had a leaky shower handle that had stripped when I tried to take it out, so had to call in the pros.. and I'm so glad we did! It turned into a massive undertaking, including a blow torch, grinder and a lot of elbow grease... the toughest he's seen in 10+ years of plumbing... but he got it without having to take out the pipe valve, which saved us a serious unforeseen expense. When it came time to bill, he did not charge for any time that wasn't necessary, even though it took him much longer than expected due to a leak that had gone on for years and rusted the handle onto the pipe. He also replaced the bath faucet and made sure it was secure (it had been loose and protruding from the wall, contributing to water damage). Their prices (trip charge $45; $32/15min, $128/hr labor; plus parts) are competitive with any other local professional plumber, and they were fair and honest in my opinion. They also were the quickest to respond to my call and be able to schedule me in the same week, versus other plumber companies who did not respond or had availability only the following week. He explained everything he was doing, and I had some other questions for him about possible future projects that he was very knowledgeable on. Another thoroughly satisfied customer and 5 star review! We will be calling them again should we need another plumbing job.
Martin is friendly and honest. The prices are very reasonable. He provided several plumbing services for my rental units in 2018. I recommend this company for your plumbing works.

Martin and Chris did excellent work for us today including installation of a new 50 gallon hot water heater and new faucets in the kitchen sink. This is the second time we have used him and both experiences have been good. I will contact Martin again for my next plumbing needs.
Water began leaking from my kitchen can light while the upstairs shower was being used. The first company I called did not answer. I called Washtenaw P & H and Martin was at my house in less than 15 minutes. He discovered the pipes were installed improperly from a remodel that was done about 6-7 years ago. The entire job was completed and up to code by noon. Chris fixed an unrelated sink drain issue on the spot as well. Prompt. Respectful. Affordable. This experience could not have gone any better. I would recommend this company without hesitation. Thank you!!!
Needed a roughin for a new laundry room. These guys were great. Reliable, excellent communication, high quality with great attention to detail, cleaned up nicely. I’ll definitely hire again.
