A particularly bad ice dam broke a gutter off our second story and we needed it to be replaced, but more importantly we needed someone to help us make sure it didn't happen again. Ms. Green Construction was absolutely the right call! Added blown in insulation to our attic and more importantly increased the airflow by installing more soffit vents. Oh and of course new gutters all the way around. Having to find a Contractor can be super stressful, luckily I now know who my first call will always be.
Inpatient owner, not easy to work with. They broke a window then denied it.
I scheduled April Rue, the owner of Ms. Green Construction to give us a quote on a couple of jobs. She looked at the areas and explained why we should not do them given the needs of the area. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the multiple needs of this complex space and gave us numerous, specific fixes that she would not benefit from. She blew me away and I wanted to leave a review because of that.

The owner came out to our home for a consultation on insulation. She went above and beyond to educate me, to explore our crawl space, to increase my knowledge of our HVAC system and was able to identify the source of the problem. Fantastic experience and highly recommend Ms. Green Construction.
Had a not great experience with a crawl space insulation / encapsulation job. Ms. Green contracted the bulk of the work out to another company - who did passable but not great work after multiple visits to remedy installation issues. We had to leave the house and stay at hotels overnight multiple times because it's not safe to be home during spray foam installation. Having Ms. Green act as the middle person just made things more complicated / take longer and communication devolved in an unprofessional way. I ended up reaching out to and working with the insulation installer directly, which was a significantly better experience. Would recommend reaching out to a company that does their own insulation work instead - there are many reputable companies in the area. Also, I see that multiple glowing reviews suddenly showed up after I left this negative one. I strongly suspect some friends / family reviewing is going on but I'll let others come to their own conclusions.
I have worked with April at Ms Green Construction for several years encompassing several projects. She is extremely knowledgeable, an expert in her field. She is my go to person when I need help or have questions. Highly recommend her work if you want quality results.

The owner came to my house and helped me tremendously with my energy efficiency questions. Very professional, courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. No complaints.
I scheduled an estimate for blown in attic insulation, baffle installation. They called me an hour before my scheduled appointment time to cancel due to an “unforeseen work emergency”. I’m a reasonable person and understand that emergencies happen, such is life. They said someone would call me back later in the week to reschedule the estimate or I could call back to reschedule. I called to reschedule within thirty minutes of the cancellation notice and got their answering machine. I left a voicemail message and once again shared my contact information, stating my desire to reschedule the appointment. It’s been a week and I still haven’t heard back from this company. Poor follow up and customer service. Needless to say I will be choosing another contractor for my home insulation needs.
We are so grateful for this company. April is very knowledgeable and clearly knows what she's doing. She told us exactly what we needed to do to fix our problem and came out on a day's notice. Thank you so much for your incredible service.

I called Ms. Green and asked for someone to come out and give me a quote on foam wall insulation. The person who came out (Director of Operations it said on his business card) was not a gentleman. From the moment he arrived, it was high-pressure sales, bashing their competitors, and trying to get me to sign up before he even gave me a price. Unprofessional from start to finish. When I insisted that he stop with the high-pressure sales and just give me a price, he threatened to leave saying "I'm willing to walk out and not even give you a quote". I did that--telling him to leave. Then he wouldn't! Threatens to leave, told to leave, would not leave. Worst experience with a contractor EVER!
they are not really "green", and their work is shoddy.
