Joel and the team at Boucher were great. From easy and thorough communication to their installation crew taking the time to do an amazing install and cleaning up after themselves. Everything came out great.. Highly recommend using Boucher for your HVAC needs.
Boucher Energy Systems is a highly respected and professional company. They removed our a.c. outdoor unit and water heater and replaced it with a heat pump water heater and a house heat pump. The first interview visit with Jeff was invaluable. He was clear, full of information and did not use hard sell tactics. The installation crew came on the date that was offered and they were right on time. We added a remote thermostat to enable us to set the heat/a.c. when we'd been away and were returning home. The "spokesperson" for that crew was clear and patient in explaining the system. I highly recommend Boucher Energy Systems!
A/C units were installed on the day and time scheduled. The crew was very professional and neat. The units were much larger than the units that were replaced and could not be completely situated in the original location which was disappointing. I wish that I could have been made more aware of that fact. I also think more time should be spent explaining the operation of the new thermostats. Overall we were pleased with the service we received.
We had a very complicated heating and cooling system in our house that combined baseboard heating and heat pumps in a newer addition, with air heat and cooling in the older section of our house. We needed a new boiler and outside AC unit, and worked with Boucher to create a new system that was more interrelated and energy efficient. The system that they installed works beautifully, and I cannot recommend their professionalism enough. They were really good at figuring out what system would work best for us and accommodated our requests along the way. We had to separate the installation across many months due to the supply chain issue, but Boucher kept us up to date on the process, and we ended up getting a better unit for the same cost we agreed to. Their office assistant, Tina Ridenour, made the whole process so easy, particularly walking us through the Mass Save rebates and loan process. We looked at a variety of vendors when we decided to update our system, and are so happy that we chose Boucher for this project.

We used Boucher Energy Systems to replace our old gas furnaces with high efficiency Mitsubishi air source heat pumps. We were very satisfied with the whole experience. Joel Boucher came out and spent a considerable period of time inspecting the old systems and the house and told us our various options and answered all of our questions. The installation was a big, 3 day job because we have 2 different systems serving different floors of the house. The installation team did very careful work, getting all of the details (large and small) just right. They fully explained what they were doing and answered all of our questions. Tina is handling the application for our Mass Save rebate, so we don't have to worry about that. We were very impressed with Boucher and would recommend them for any HVAC work.
The Staff, Sales and Install groups were exceptional...from the quote thru Billing and Installation. The Install team did a great job everything was clean and professional, and the system worked perfect, especially during the current heat wave. Boucher energy has been servicing my heating and cooling needs for many years! At least 18/20. They just finished installing a new furnace and all the parts that go with that. And Tina in the office helped me to file paperwork for rebates and all that goes with that. They have always been professional and courteous. Let Boucher be your number 1 for your needs and you won’t be sorry. Yes my last name is Boucher, but no relation at all!! All those years ago when i was looking for a company I looked through the phone book and found them. And how could I go wrong with a company with the same name as I have!!!!
Boucher Energy treats its customers, and installs systems, just like they would want to be treated. A+!!! Two improperly sized boilers heated our home- adding up to huge energy bills and constant problems. Boucher energy calculated our actual heating needs, reviewed our energy bills, and consulted with Infrared Diagnostics to identify a single efficient boiler to reduce our natural gas consumption. Their installation team was prompt, professional, and highly motivated to give us the maximum benefit. Just as if they were working on their own homes! Outcome was perfect!
We've used Boucher for many years to service our hvac system. Recently they replaced the system. From the original quote, to the meticulous install, to the help in submitting for rebates, Boucher was very professional and did superb work.
We had a hybrid heat pump/natural gas central heating/cooling system and a heat pump hot water heater installed to replace our previous all gas systems. Everything was done in a day and their office team helped with the paperwork to get some rebates for us. Everyone is professional, knowledgable and courteous. This is the second house fo which we have had their help with upgrading to greater efficiency and a smaller carbon footprint. What higher recommendation is there?

I recently contracted Boucher Energy Systems to install 2 Mitsubishi heat pumps at my house replacing a couple of 20+ year old central air conditioners. From the initial estimate I received to the final installation, the whole experience exceeded my expectations. The entire team was professional, highly knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. They delivered as promised and on time. I will definitely be hiring them again for my yearly maintenance.

We have been a loyal customer of Boucher Energy Systems for many years, starting with a heating unit which included domestic hot water. Years later we added two, thru the wall, A/C units. The latest addition was to install A/C /Heat on our porch, turning it into a 3 season room. The crew arrived on time, went over the installation with my husband and started work. Everone wore masks and shoe coverings when entering the house. We chose Boucher the first time because of their reputation, and they have not disappointed us. They are always professional, the installation is a show place, they use highly efficient products. The crew was polite and they clean up when finished. We continue to be pleased with all aspects of using Boucher Energy Systems.
We have been using Boucher for over a decade for installing heating and air conditioning systems. The work they do is very professional, especially the appearance of the equipment. In addition, they perform maintennance on these systems which keeps them working well.
Boucher installed air source heat pumps with mini splits in our 1960's home. They worked through some challenges, such as our stone exterior, beautifully. They were professional, quick, and kept us informed every step of the way. Special shoutout to Tina, an excellent point of contact, and who navigated Mass Save's paperwork for me. Highly recommend!

The guys did an excellent job under very challenging circumstances! It was 114 degrees in the attic - yet they worked until they were done so that we could have AC that night.
