My family and I have had South Shore Heating & Cooling for over 20 years. They are always polite, courteous and do excellent work. Nobody is a better tech in our opinion than Keith Riter. He is the best. Explains what he is going to do in simple layman terms and his work is impeccable. He is polite and dedicated to his trade. A true professional and an amazing representative of the company he works for!
This is the first time using MacFarlane Energy, great experience with David to fix air condition issue after hours. David was very professional, friendly, patient and straight communication for what’s need to be fixed. So happy for the work got done. I am so grateful for finding this great company. Will definitely continue using the company in the future and highly recommend to anyone!

Very professional; explained what he (Wayne) was doing to replace a leaking indirect hot water tank. Attentive to detail, all the new plumbing copper work looks high end. Left the worksite spotlessly clean. Very satisfied. Would highly recommend.
McFarlane promised us service in early afternoon and they came as promised. Andrew was polite, responsive, and explained the issue in terms I could understand. Excellent job!
Joe was courteous and knowledgeable. He explained what he did and was in and out in under an hour. He also pointed out some additional services that MacFarlane provides that I would be interested in.
Cam was early for our appointment which was good for us. He measured and took pictures and will provide us with options on the ensuing proposals. Looking forward to continuing to work with him.
Had a great experience with getting a heat pump installed by MacFarlane. From sales to instillation, we were very pleased with their reps. Would highly recommend.
I called McFarlane Energy to send a technician by to see why I had no hot water, the technician came out that day and fixed the issues and I was up and running again. I like that I have had the same person several different times and he communicates well so I understand what happened and what he did to fix it. I also like that they send you text updates on who's coming and their arrival time. Good company I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

My furnace stopped working and after me calling at 8am it was all fixed by 9:10am. Wayne - the specialist who has arrived - was very professional, knowledgeable and very polite. An outstanding service! Update June 2023: I had a problem with a valve. Joe, the specialist if the firm, addressed it - and again, professionalism, politeness, and care about the customer.

Great experience with installation of new heat pumps (one ductless and one ducted system). We first met Cam who provided our quote and he was great in answering our (many) follow up questions. Once the work was scheduled, Luis and his team did the installation in three days. There was a lot of work to do but they were efficient, friendly, and left us with a HUGE improvement on our house. I will be recommending to any of my friends who are thinking about moving to a heat pump. If I could give six stars I would.
It’s great to have Wayne as a technician for our heating system. Very technical, knowledgeable and personable. Extremely efficient. He keeps the area clean during and after work. Five stars!!

Mr. Bill Stewart came to service this morning (6/27/2023) our A/C systems that stopped working. He was very nice, very professional, and very clean. He did a great and got the system working in no time. It was a pleasure to have him servicing our system. René
Great service, on time and respectful. Trevor and Nick were great, explained issues carefully and thoroughly. Your answering service folks however, are a disaster. Rude and inefficient, they make MacFarlane look bad. Get another service!
