I only share my review so this doesn't happen to anyone else. My experience with Urban Mechanical and Rich McDermott was terrible. He installed two AC units in my home - neither work and his telephone lines have been disconnected. I not only think he can't run a business, but I fear he has a pattern of ripping off people then shutting down his operations -- and probably opening up under another name to steal from more people. I learned he even stole from his own employees. He might also operate under the name Climatech Services and 26 McDonald Street LLC. Oxbox should also be concerned about his practices because in many way he represented them. Do not get involved with him - it will be a huge regret.
Scheduled a day off work for appointment, they said they were coming in 90 minutes, then NEVER SHOWED UP or apologized. Absolutely dreadful, can not be trusted, do not use this company.
Urban Mechanical are always fast and efficient. They have great customer service, and the prices are reasonable. They have been able to fix my AC issue quickly, and I never have to worry about it breaking down again. I would recommend this company to anyone!

I am a big fan of this company. I have a heating and cooling system that needed to be replaced and I hired Urban Mechanical to install it. They were able to come and fix my system the same day and I didn't have to worry about paying for a service technician because they are a licensed and insured company. The technicians were fast, professional, and helpful, and they did a great job on my system. I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a professional company to take care of their heating and cooling needs.
When I need help with my heating and cooling system, I know I can trust Urban Mechanical. I used to have really high heating bills, but since I started using Urban Mechanical, I can save so much money on my energy bills by keeping my system running well. I came across Urban Mechanical when I was looking for an air conditioning maintenance company. I was really impressed with their website and the information they provided. They were also easy to contact and were able to answer all of my questions. I was glad I found them as they have been able to fix any of my AC issues and are always available.

We were lucky enough to find a company called Urban Mechanical, who was able to figure out what was going on and get the system running again. They were able to do it quickly and provide us with a quote before they even showed up on site. The service was very affordable and they were able to accommodate our needs.
We've used Urban Mechanical for over 6 years to service our furnace and A/C unit; even purchased a replacement A/C unit from them. They are reliable and always available for a service call when the A/C didn't work right. Would definitely recommend Urban Mechanical!!!
I called them last weekend to service my heat when the temperature dropped and they came out within 2 hours which they quoted. They got me up and running for a fair price, I will have them back to service my AC system in the house.
