Been great to deal with and prompt.
James is really a true HVAC guy a purist. He's got that company ship shape. It's a gem where it's located I hope all the neighbors know about it.
James has been to our house a few times, most recently he discovered we had duct issues. The repair was faster than he originally thought and now not even 24hrs later it is feeling much better in our home. Can't say enough good things.
Our heat pump/ac had been having issues since we bought the house. After multiple $500 dollar heating bills we had them out. They found the problem and had the $900 dollar part covered under warranty. They even offered us window unit air conditioners to use until the part came in. They kept us informed through the whole process and did everything they said they would and more.
Mark came out to check on our HVAC system and did a thorough job!
Old Line came for a leak in my water heater within a few hours of me noticing a leak. Not only was the fix cleanly done, but he explained what he was doing every step of the way and helped me understand what had caused the issue. He gave me tips on maintenance and avoiding similar problems down the line, while also checking my heater to ensure no damage had come from the leak. Really appreciated the honest service and pricing - would strongly recommend!
We are so happy with the service we got from James and Jen at Old Line Heating and Air! Our heat stopped working on the eve of a multi-day snowstorm during the coldest week of the year. We originally had BlueDot come out, who said the system was not repairable and quoted us $9k for a new one. Looking for a second opinion and/or replacement estimate, we contacted Old Line via Thumbtack around 9pm on a Friday and got an immediate response from Jen, who scheduled a visit for the next morning. When James arrived it was snowing pretty hard -- he was on time, super professional, and did a great job explaining what was going on with our system and the options we had for repairing and/or replacing it. He was able to get the system reliably up and running, and provided us a solution that will get us through at least the rest of the winter before we need to worry about replacing our nearly-end-of-life unit. Their pricing was incredibly reasonable for the work performed, and their quote for a replacement system was more than $3k less than BlueDot's! Thank you so much James and Jen!
Called this company for 1st time on Sunday, 7/19/20 because my central air broke. It was anticipated to be 100+ degrees that day. The owner of the company was on site within 90 min of my calling and was able to fix the issue very quickly. The service call and repair costs were unbelievably reasonable especially given it was an emergency weekend call. This company is a local, family-owned company that prides itself in providing quality service above industry standard and at a very reasonable cost.

I’m really impressed by Old Line Heating and Air. Our HVAC unit was outdated and unfortunately caused water damage in our basement leaving us without AC. They came out quickly to give us a quote. Once we decided to use them they were able to come out the next day. The lady on the phone was very sweet and informative, she got us approved for financing within minutes. We’ve had no issues so far and will use them again for future needs!
Cheapest price in Maryland to come out to diagnosis the issue. ($49) Friendly receptionist and friendly tech. Would definitely use again.

The heat at our rental property stopped working. James was able to work us into his schedule for the next day, identified the problem, located the replacement part and had the heat back up and running. Great experience all around.

We needed our whole AC system replaced, and after nearly being sold on a bigger company,- James pointed out some great options for us,- and helped us steer clear of fiberglass in our duct work.Work looks great, ahhh,...sooo cool ; ^ ). Thanks James, we'd recommend you to everyone!
Super honest company. Great service, good people. Cant recommend their services enough. Our air conditioning stopped pumping cold air when it became ungodly hot this summer and the owner was able to come out next day to check it out. Let us know we had a few options which was great, so we could commit to what we were most financially comfortable with. We decided to replace the unit. He let us know the full price up front, scheduled a replacement, and gave our AC a temporary fix that lasted for 2 weeks until they could come out. Unlike other companies, heating/air or otherwise, they actually came at the time they scheduled for! No huge 4 hour window, just a 30 min window and they came right on time and started work. While the unit was supposed to be fully replaced that day, they ran into an unforeseen issue that required waiting till next-day for a replacement part. Not only did he sincerely apologize (given it was mid July and 90s-100s that week) but brought us 2 AC window units on loan AND later sent us a gift card as an apology for the discomfort. The job was completed the next afternoon. We woke up the following day at 4am to a hot house. We texted the owner immediately and, ON A SATURDAY, he came out by 7am and installed a replacement thermostat (ours was old and it was just crazy timing). The pricing through all these hiccups never changed from the original quote and our AC has been perfect since!

My wife contacted them and spoke with James. We were unsure if we wanted to replace our heat pump and a/c or install mini split. James came out very professional and we decided on new unit. Price was very fair since we already had some estimates. One week later unit was installed and now very comfortable. Excellent communication, professional and fair prices. Will recommend him to anyone that asks.
I contacted James at Old Line Heating and Air late on a Friday night for help with an AC unit that was intermittently coming on and off. Before coming out to visit, he asked me to take pics of my HVAC unit, then called me (on a Saturday, when he was at his kid's birthday part), then helped me troubleshoot the problem on my own (it had an easy fix), then refused to charge me. I immediately asked for his number for future reference; I'm certain I'll be calling him again. Really appreciated the professionalism and responsiveness. They're giving a great name to HVAC professionals.
