The customer service is horrible! American Home Sheild. Should not do business with this contractor. I request that they never dispatch them to my property for any HVAC Issues again ! It's not worth the headache. Prospective customers RUN!
I contacted my home warranty company, American Home Shield in the evening when I found out that my AC stopped worker. They connected us with this Climate Masters, and we received a confirmation that morning that they would have someone over to check it out. The process was quick, after the confirmation, I heard from Kyle, who showed up within the said time frame. He was very professional and he was able to resolve the problem quickly. I had a positive experience with them, and would be glad to use them again.
Technician showed up on time and did the job right. Pleasant and respectful. Gave knowledge and advice to keep system in good shape.
So thankful to Climate Masters!!!! I had an emergency issue wheras gas was leaking from my furnace. BGE came to my home and turned off the gas, and told me a licensed technician would need to repair the leak, in order for the furnace to be cut back on. This was at 4:15pm, and I submitted a claim via my home warranty company. I received the notification that my request was received. I called Climate Masters and asked them if they had received the request from my home warranty company yet, and explained that I have a gas emergency at my home, due to a leak in our furnace. The manager whom I spoke with asked me to give him about 15 minutes, and he'd call me back. About 10 minutes later, I received a call from Curtis, whom said he was on his way to my home. PLEASE NOTE, Curtis was off for the evening and was on his way home. He came to our home, realized that he needed another part, he went to his office, came back, and fixed our furnace!!! This was the best service ever, and our experience was nothing less than stellar. I would highly recommend this company, and can't thank them enough for helping us on a last minute request. THANK YOU so much Climate Masters, you were phenomenal!!! Curtis is awesome!!!
If I could give 0 stars I would. This company is the most unprofessional company I have ever had to work with. Multiple no-call no-show appointments. They continued to make excuses regarding parts not being in, even though we at multiple times were called and told the parts had come in. At one point we were told that the parts to fix our furnace had come in, but that the technician had taken them out of town with him on personal leave so it would be another week before they could schedule to complete the repair. If you are assigned this company through American Home Shield. RUN and immediately request to be reassigned. After a multiple month hassle with them we are still left without a working furnace.
If I was you I would stay away from this company. I have been waiting to get my A/C fixed since August 2022 and it still hasn’t been fixed.
This company took forever to come to my house, they rarely answer the phone and also are no calls no shows after actual scheduling. When they came to my house and misdiagnosed the issue, so I had to transfer the issue to electrician. An electrician came out and promptly noted the issue being the A/C. So I had to wait two weeks before Climate Masters could actually come back out and then wait another two weeks for the part to arrive. I had a terrible experience and wanted to switch companies but American Homeshield charges another deductible another switch companies. I never want to deal with Climate Masters again.
Climate masters is the worst HVAC company to hire. Both CJ and Shamaine Elmore are liars regarding times of appointments, they don’t show up nor do they call to let you know they will not be coming, no communication. There service is so Horrible I had to cancel that service contract and went with another HVAC .company.. I will never recommend this company to anyone
Company do not respond ! Never on time (no call no show) at that ! Say one thing then it’s another ! Will leave you for dead ! They act like they so damn busy when they not !
Very very poor, assigned to me through AHS, the technician came out unprepared, spent less than 5 min looking at the AC unit, yes just looked at it....not touching. HE Then stated, "call the office again and schedule a leak check, i did not bring my Gauges and will have to reschedule since i have 11 calls today"....yes!!! a whole technician said that, i thought to myself why did you come to out then if you have no tools?....very very incompetent. Called the office, no answer x5....So i called AHS again only to find out that they closed my ticket because of the repair was 'completed' yet the technician did nothing!!!! So i requested another company to come out and just had a new unit installed, 6 weeks later after back and forth with this incompetent climate incompetents! Never again!
We use American Home Shield as our Home Warranty company. Most people have to understand that when you are using a Home Warranty Company it takes time for services to be completed let alone for products to be delivered. Curtis has been our representative for two homes now and has always been a pleasure to work with. Dakota is very pleasant to speak with and has contacted me each and every time she has told me to expect a call. Due to the service I received I would still continue to use this company even without Home Warranty.
I put a claim in through my home warranty and Climate Masters came out. The repair window was from 12-6 and the tech came out around 3:45. He quickly diagnosed and solved the issue.
DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!! We waited almost 2 weeks for a Climate Masters technician to come out - and then he was almost an hour late! He decided we needed a board replacement and likely motor replacement on our Trane HVAC system.He left that night saying he was ordering parts and would be back the next week to install them and repair our system. He never came back or even contacted me. After my multiple contact attempts I was FINALLY texted that he was checking the warehouse for the parts and would be in contact to schedule our repair appointment. I checked back multiple times over the next week and a half with ZERO response. Next thing I know, a new HVAC company tech is coming out to start the job from scratch almost a month from my the initial assignment to Climate Masters. Apparently they suddenly and magically decided they can’t work on “(my) type of unit” and cancelled the job without telling me!!! The new company technician showed up to a job with wires cut and no knowledge of what in the world Climate Masters did or didn’t do, beyond cutting wires and quitting the job. DO NOT HIRE CLIMATE MASTERS!!!! #ClimateMasters #ClimateMastersMD
They were assigned to do a TUNE UP. Of my AC system, that was working perfectly to prepare for the summer. After the employee Kyrie left, the Ac worked about for 6/7 hours. He took a bunch of cables saying they were not needed for this type of AC, and mentioned that now my AC has a delay which is something good. My Ac stopped working. The only way to start it was drilling on the screws giving some vibration it would start and work for random hours sometimes 2/3 hours, sometimes 5 minutes. 20 calls, no answer to my phone number. Called from another number and they answered. Many emails sent. Contacted AHS, and their service is so poor, she could not understand what was I saying, asked for a supervisor, never called me back. Still waiting on a call back from CLIMATE MASTERS. They need to come fix what they broke at no charge.

I scheduled our annual spring AC tune-up via AHS (American Home Shield) for our zoned HVAC system (2 AC units - not a heat pump) which arranged via their Pro-connect service Climate Masters, LLC. The technician, Shermaine showed up on Monday afternoon at 3:45pm and left at 4pm stating that everything was complete. I literally had to run out the door to his van in the driveway as he was already pulling out to leave. I stopped him and asked if he was done. He said the service was complete and everything was fine. I asked what exactly he did as we have 2 units and he spent about 5 minutes on the phone on my back deck not performing any work (I have video camera's outside and inside which caught the entire visit). He stated I would get an email with all the details. He said he checked pressures, freon, cleaned air filters etc.. When I asked him to come inside and show me exactly what he did he said he couldn't and had to leave. After he left I checked our units which had not been touched at all. I paid $150 ($75 per AC unit) for work which was not performed. I went thru AHS to schedule another AC tune-up with another company. I would not recommend this company under any circumstances. Very unprofessional and irresponsible. I may even contact the BBB as I was ripped off the $150 or $10/min he was here. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
They fit us into their full schedule same day since our heat was out. They were responsive and professional throughout the process. The techs were awesome and fixed several issues to get our heat operating again. Highly recommend Climate Masters!
Put a new motor in for 1/3 of the price of what Blue dot quoted. Blue dot also recommended the entire system be replaced while this company noted our system will probably run for five more years. Customer service was professional. Highly recommend.

I had an absolutely awful experience with Climate Masters. They came out at least four times unable to solve the problem but each time convinced they had. They were regularly late for their arrival window. I requested for a change in provider by AHS and was denied so I cancelled my warranty so I can finally find resolution of my HVAC issue. I have since had the issue solved by another company who immediately identified an electrical problem. They were stunned at the patch work done by climate masters. They even noted that our defrost board was unnecessarily changed with an older one that they had “never seen before.” It was a horrible experience. I was an AHS customer with my current house for 3 years and my previous house for over 5. I am so disappointed. I’m only giving one star because they guys who did the work were nice.
