Chuck came out within just a few hours on Christmas Eve to save the holiday. Heat was out and the temp in the house was down into the 50s. Excellent service and responsiveness and they fixed the problem in short order. Can't recommend KCK highly enough.

Can not recommend KCK enough. Great service, personal care and communication. Also very affordable. We have an 8000 square foot house build in the 1860s and they keep all three areas running effectively. A fantastic small business we should all strive to support.
Install was quick and smooth but there was an issue with my brand new unit. It made a whistling sound when it was running. Chuck came back and fixed it.
A/C was out on hottest day of year so far - a Saturday - and KCK came out same day and quickly diagnosed and resolved the problem. Great to have a local Olney HVAC company that provides emergency service! No more calling the "big" guys, who overcharge and underperform.
I purchased a Mitsubishi split unit from KCK. The initial install almost went smoothly. They had mistakenly installed a smaller unit in the computer room. When it didn't cool sufficiently, I discovered the errored, and it was corrected quickly. About a year later, the unit stopped cooling. I called to ask for a service call, and my calls were not immediately returned. They finally sent out a technician, and he suspected a coolant leak. He put in a little coolant and a dye stick and promised to return in a few days to look for evidence of the leak. He never returned. When it once again stopped cooling, I called several times, and was promised a return call to address my issues. Several calls later, the owner came by to look at the system. He left and promised to call to discuss his findings. That call never happened. I once again called and called the office, and each time I was promised a return call, which never happened. I finally called in another contractor, G and B air conditioning, to address my issues. G and BG pumped down the system, pressurized it with Nitrogen and dye in an effort to find the cause of the issues. He discovered that the downstairs unit was leaking badly, and that the flare fitting at that location was distorted and not sealing. I have worked with flare fittings in my career as an engineer, so I immediately recognized the issue. At the other unit, the flare was formed short, so that there was inadequate surface area in the fitting to get a good seal. This leak was small and difficult to detect, but nonetheless significant. They repaired the fittings, pumped down the system, pressurized it and left it for a period of time to verify that it wasn't leaking elsewhere, recharged the system and it worked better than it had since it was installed. G and B air conditioning did a great job. I give KCK one star, earned for their lack of response to service a critical system that they sold and installed.
My AC went out on a Friday morning during a heatwave. Called another place, and was told they could come out on Tuesday. With a 4 year old at home, that wasn't an option. Googled and found KCK who's right down the street here in Olney. Spoke with Chuck who said he could make it over to me that very same day, and he kept his promise. He quickly repaired the issue, and even diagnosed another seperate issue i was unware of, advising me to have an electrician look into. In addition, he took a quick glance at my water heater that was leaking and made it out NEXT DAY to replace that as welll. Chuck even advised his tech to set the water temp to the lowest setting since I have a young child at home. It's little things like that that go a long way. AC and Water Heater repaired and replaced under 24 hours. That's unheard of. Prompt, professional service at a fair price. Highly Recommend.
I have used KCK for several years. In addition to the twice yearly preventative maintenance, they have responded to several HVAC emergencies. They cleared a clogged drainage pipe earlier this year that was spilling out all over the basement floor and more recently replaced a burned out blower motor. The blower motor outage left us without heat so Chuck lent us several space heaters overnight and then came back to complete the repair. He also installed a ionizing air purifier, a critical item during the pandemic.
They don't show up to your place to install something or fix something!!!! Poor service

Had my heat pump & air handler replaced. Chuck personally committed to matching the competitors BG&E rebate. But 8 months later, still have not received the rebate check. Mari emailed me and said it was in the mail, I never received it. Since then they stopped responding to emails and won't return calls.
I have a mixed feeling about them. They are very friendly, really tries to help you and did a good job on installing a new heater. However when it comes to a follow up (we had multiple follow ups on county inspection related issues) they are not as good. Amongst the employees, the owner and the admin staff they seemed to not communicate which makes it very frustrating to customers. Anyway our heater was installed back in october and we are still waiting to get an inspection to be done.
Had my heat go out on Thanksgiving Day. Called these guys and Chuck came right over, figured out the problem, and put a workaround in place so that I could get heat back while he got a part on order (everything else was closed, so this was the best option at the time). Cory came out once the part arrived and quickly did the install. Both gentlemen were very friendly, professional, and knowledgable. I'll definitely give these guys a call if I need HVAC work done again in the future!
Awesome job! KCK came within the suggested time frame. Went right to work on diagnosing the no-heat problem. Fixed it in 10 minutes. Looked at our stove and told us what to buy to fix the problem ourselves. Nice guy, too!
they are not good at all. the water from ac convector is leaking so I called and the owner of the company came to get estimate and placed the order for a part. Then in a few days later, the technician came to install the part but this was not the reason. actually, there was other reason for water leaking so he did some work . However, the following morning, still I found that there was water leaking from the convector. I called to have the technician come to check.Then yesterday, he came to do some work to fix the issue . But this morning, I found that the water still is leaking from the convector. So I called and the owner of company took the call. I really did not understand what he told me. I was told to wait until monday. I was very frustrated with the situation. They came 3 times and I paid nearly $280 but they are not able to fix the problem. However, the owner of company shouted at me since he told me that I made him tell the same thing. I am so regretting to call them. I got the number from condo office and they told me that the company is very familiar with ac system with this condo . This is only reason I called and I thought they can fix the problem. But they came 3 times and still they are not able to fix the problem.
KCK was able to provide same day service as of course the air con blew on the hottest day of the year. Cory was professional, explained everything going on and was able to get the unit working again in about an hour. Thank you KCK!

Cory was the person that came to my home and did an excellent job with our AC. His work ethic is outstanding. Maria the young lady who sets up the work order is also very nice to deal with. Great price for the work he had to do. Would not hesitate to suggest them to anyone!
