My upstairs HVAC quit at the beginning of July, and I have three young children. Constellation was great about getting out to us promptly, assessing the problem, and working with us to figure out a cost-effective solution. Best of all, our upstairs air was cool again in a matter of days. Highest marks.
This company does exceptional work. I would recommend them to family and friends. They never disappoint and their employees are always professional and polite.
My purpose is to get quick emergency repair since 2012. I never need to use it till today my air conditioner is not working. My parts need to be ordered and will take two or three days to get the parts. Why I paid all these money and still need to wait for few days? I will stop the contract from now on. 7/6 12am update: ** No follow up from company so far after responding to the email from the company. ** a phone representative requests a supervisor of parts department to look into the matter. She finally did this after I told her I complained on the google reviews. **room temperature is up to 87 without AC. **put lots of food/medicine/supplements in basement to prevent them going bad. *** Company should provide "portable room AC" to cool my home during these waiting periods. #### not confirmation provided so far even after some phone calls. #### I will not provide personal information here. #### i responded to the previous request from the company yesterday morning before 8am. No one handle the issues??? #### i was told that because there are so many products to be serviced. Many parts need to be ordered. Even other company will do the same. It means no such thing about "emergency fixed" and no provisions offered in order to keep us cool since Monday. Very good "excuses" to justify its bad business practice. && have to choose at least "one" start option
I had a leak in my wall in the kitchen and they cut it for no reason they went upstairs cut the wall in the laundry room and cut a large hole and now my washing machine will not fully function and then today a plumber came and put a new pipe in my wall
Similar to the testimonials below. They took literally six months to repair a noisy washing machine. One guy comes out, says it needs this part and says it will take two weeks to come in. Two weeks later, a different guy comes for the installation but says that he doesn't think this will fix the problem. It didn't. We call again, yet another tech comes out. He says it needs a different part that is ordered and will be out in a couple of weeks. This time, the wrong part gets ordered. The new guy who came out said we might as well replace it since it's here but it won't fix the problem. It didn't. Another round ensues and six months later, it finally gets fixed. It's running fine now but sheesh. We are not renewing.
My service Technician was awesome. Very professional knowledgeable on time. I would love to have Mr Cameron Thompson and Chuck M. Every time that I need service. Constellation have great Technician on there team working for them.
Scheduled my air check up 6 weeks ago. Scheduled a 7:30-12 appointment Day of called at 11 and told 12-2 Still no call or service at 2:30. Asked to speak with a supervisor put on hold 15 y poor minute Still not called.this has happened 3 times previously for scheduled appointments I don,t recommend there use. Very poor It’s now 3:52 and service called me to say 20 minutes
I am a long time customer of BGE. My bill used to be correct until they changed to Constellation Home. I tried to get them to fix it for months and it is never correct. I called numerous times and no one ever says the same thing. I asked several times for a manager to call me back and I never receive a call. I have no idea what is going on with this company because this is not the way you do business. I would like to know who I can talk to, to resolve this!
Our experience with this company was great! We had a very knowledgeable technician who provided great service & customer care. After having a few bad experiences with AHS, we decided to give Constellation Home a try. We are very pleased with the level of service provided, from scheduling an appointment to receiving service. Our tech was very concerned about our plumbing issue. He thoroughly explained things along the way & was very patient with our questions. He also gave us feedback on how to properly maintain things going forward so we would not run into a repeated problem. We would definitely recommend them or at least give them a try. We also loved the fact that they are not contractors!
Nino Apicella, Service Technician, did a phenomenal job servicing the AC unit. He was punctual, polite, and professional. And, he took the time to explain the problem to my level of understanding. The work was covered under my service contract so there was no out of pocket expense. I am a completely satisfied customer. Thanks, Nino, for being an honest HVAC technician and for your expertise. Job well done. You (and Cameron) are assets to the BGE Home/Constellation organization.
Wake up to my sump pump shooting water like a fountain, flooded basement and they can't get a tech out until Monday. I have an emergency and need help now so I called another company. Don't know why I pay for a service plan if they can't deal with emergency service.
I had a Carrier Greenspeed Heat pump and furnace installed by BGE Home about 10 years ago. I love the equipment. But I also have BGE Home Warranty. Recently I went back and forth trying to get a renewal on the warranty. What a train wreck! I finally had the contract renewed after days of false promises and the crazy back and forth on the phone and through emails. So today, I called early this morning to have warranty maintenance on my home generator that is also under BGE Home. My window of time was 12 Noon to 4 PM. I left my work specifically to be at my house since being at the house is a BGE Home requirement. At 4 PM I called BGE Home and told them no technician showed up. After being placed on hold, I was told the technician would call me. It's now 5 PM and the technician called saying they JUST RECEIVED my message and my appointment is not on their screen or in the system. Well, I have a confirmation number! They said they are a half hour away. I want to thank BGE Home, who at one point I highly respected, for disrupting my day. It appears, now that Constellation has taken over the service business, the paperwork and actual service maintenance has failed. Horrible! It’s not 5:36 PM and still a no show!! In reply to your response, the confirmation number I was given was 4565078. Also, when the technician finally showed up I was on the phone with a woman who registered a complaint and confirmed my phone numbers. You can spend the time looking me up, or not, I'm not doing your work for you.
Every step with them each takes 2 weeks and the time REALLY starts to add up. First appointment for dishwasher? 2 weeks. Parts ordered after appointment? 2 weeks. After one wash …breaks again. Next appointment? You got it. 2 more weeks. And on. And on. And on…. Why am I paying for this?
Great job! The technician was on time and very thorough! He explained the issues he found and fixed them. There was no extra cost. Definitely will keep this service going. I highly recommend Constellation Homes to everyone whose home is older than 5 years old.
Was given appt between 730a and 9pm. They never showed or called. I called them 3xs got run around then told me a supervisor would callme back. Not to mention it's been a power outage for 5 days. Most of my services came back except my heat. Bge an Constellation services both suck. So mad Pepco not up here.
Jordan and Ramon are a fantastic representation of great service-Constellation (BGE) home should be very proud of their hard work. They installed our hot water heater quickly and we very informative, eagerly sharing their step by step installation process. Jordan, arrived on time and was extremely helpful and professional!! Have had them for many years for appliance service. Recently had problems with clothes washer and dish washer. BOTH STILL NOT REPAIRED. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM AGAIN. Hope that sometime in the future there service will improve. Always was a great place to do business with, hopefully management will improve
I have been trying to get my dishwasher fixed for over three months and am currently on my 7th service call with it still not working. Each technician says something different and orders another part. Today they finished replacing a wash pump only to have the wrong brackets for the basket in the dishwasher. Each service call is at least one to two weeks apart. Do not use them for repairs the service has drastically declined since COVID.
I sold my home in May of 2022 and requested that they cancel my service contract. The company continued to bill me every month of 2022 and I finally got a service rep to cancel my service at the end of January 2023. Now a supervisor has delayed calling me back for three months. Update 3/6 - I finally received a call from the supervisor who let me know they would be refunding the charges they billed me. As of today I have not received the refund...
Technicians are very knowledgeable, pleasant, clean and respectful. Very fast service, my water heater was checked and replaced in one day. Thank you to the 3 Technicians who responded.
