The company is very reliable. I have been a customer for many years. I had installation and service contract with them. They always deliver an excellent service. Their technician Carlos is the best very informative and reliable.

Prompt efficient dispatch service (very key when in a pinch), a super pleasant and highly skilled service technician (Justin) who is a think-outside-the-box problem solver and —very fair prices. Win win win. They now have us as repeat clients, no easy feat in an industry rife with questionable operators.
Justin is my new HERO! Give that man a raise! Customer service, helpfulness, kindness, working for me to get a decent price, solving the problem (we have heat now!) ... all around great guy and great company... I don't want to need him again, but if I do, he is the man for the job!
Con: Their Hourly Rate is $160. When I called in, they told me $40 for a quarter hour. But I did not hear the "quarter" part for sure. Find that out when I get the invoice. Con: They want to charge $280 for a $13 parts. Pro: They send a crew out the same day and fixed problem right away, and do not wast time while on job.
Two technicians came on June 30 and replaced the compressor on my heat pump. They also fixed a bad connection between two air ducts. Showed up on time. Were polite and helpful. Did not charge extra for the air duct issue.
We have used United Service Specialists for several years now on recommendation of a friend. They have always been prompt, courteous, and professional. Importantly, they have also kept our old systems working well and have been able to resolve the two issues that have come up.
Carlos was friendly and efficient and got my heart back on in a timely manner. Definitely recommend!
My gas furnace broke Friday evening; so I called their emergency line at 10:30pm and left a voicemail; received no callback that evening. So I called back next morning at 7:30am and left another voicemail; still received no callback by Saturday afternoon. It's not an emergency line if you don't answer it promptly; so I obviously do not find United Service Specialists dependable.
The company was excellent in response. I received text message on confirmation of appointment and they arrived 15minutes early. Their consultation was professional and detailed. The technicians were proficient in details of work that needed to be performed 🎭. They were friendly and respectful of using proper gear for entering my residence, face mask and shoe coverings. I would highly recommend this company.
I was fully satisfied with the service provided today, as I have been every time since I started using this company in 2015.
We thought we had a broken water heater. They inspected it and concluded that it was not a water heater. They could just replaced it and received a profit
A very professional job. Did exactly as committed in a timely fashion.Despite the holidays they installed the new 50 gallon gas water Heater including all montgomery County code required upgrades and a very thorough job. We will recommend them without any hesitation.
Just stay away from these folks. I had my condo inspected before buying and the inspector found an issue with the water splitting between the tub spout and showerhead. United Service Specialists sent a plumber who replaced the faucet. I didn't use the shower until after the replacement, at which point I noticed water was spraying out from the new faucet into my bathroom. There was enough water to warp the bottom of my bathroom vanity. I sent photos and they came out the next day and found the faucet they installed was defective so replaced it for no charge. I got an estimate for replacing the damaged vanity but, rather than paying for the damage, they insisted on fixing it. The plumber came back a few weeks later and simply glued a piece of wood over the damage and began insisting the damage wasn't because of the broken faucet, but couldn't identify another potential source of a leak. Since the refused to pay for the damage, I filed a complaint with the DC AG's office but they were unresponsive to the mediator assigned to the complaint.
Patrick and Colton were professional and polite. Very efficient and observed all current Covid precautions with my vulnerable elderly mom! Fixed the problem and we were so grateful!!
They came in and diagnosed the problem, and within 10 minutes, they found the problem and ordered the repair part. It was a Kohler tub with a special overflow attachment which was the problem. This crew knew what they were doing. Highly recommended.
Marvin was great and answered all of my mother's questions. He even sent us a text to say that he was on the way. Most importantly his text included a brief bio and his photo.
Carlos was very professional and was very efficient in fixing the AC. He was also very considerate and used shoe covers when entering the apartment. We appreciate it as we are very mindful of cleanliness. Thank you very much for you help

We were extremely happy with the work that was done by the sales team and installers. They worked very hard and were very respectful of our home and time. They even helped us bring groceries in. A big bonus was the portable AC that they lent us for free between the time we accepted the contract and when the installation was complete. I would highly recommend this company for any AC needs.
