This is a big company and would not give a written quote without first making $100 off me. Bummer. Going to keep on calling around for HVAC professionals who know their stuff.

I scheduled a service call for clogged sink, taking advantage of the $79 diagnostic special. The technician arrived on time, 30 min earlier I got a message for the arrival time and the tech name. Excellent communication. The tech quoted $480 for running 25' auger, later reduced to $430. I refused the service, it was over my budget and paid the diagnostic fee. I wish I was quoted that over the phone since I provided all the info during the call. I'm posting this if helpful to other clients in the DC area to save them the trip ( and the 'diagnostic' fee). Otherwise the technician was knowledgable and I'm confident he would resolve the issue.
I thank God for this company. They are honest people and pleasant.
I had a service tech come to my home to check my furnace.. The tech advised me I needed a specific part for my service. Approximately 2 wks later Another service tech came with the part. He stated that he would do a check of the furnace. I asked why the prior tech checked the furnace. This new tech informedme I did not need that part the first tech orderded, I now need a motor.. I asked the service tech why do i need a new motor when it is running and has been running but not cutting off..
Great customer service, repairs are reasonable. Annual memberships do help save a bit of money. I really like that they do all 3 types of work (HVAC, heating and plumbing).
Our 20 year old water heater finally died and Jake came out that day to give us an estimate. The next day, Jason came by and had a new water heater in place in a couple of hours. Great service!

Responsive to my call for service to my a/c . Arrived on time and fixed the problem quickly. The serviceman was friendly and explained the problem and made the repair. I have had a service contract with this company for many years and very happy with them.
It was Mr. Eric, he totally represents John C. Flood in the most outstanding manner. He's polite, knowledgeable, respectful and has a great personality. He knows his stuff! Dale Jr was kind, professional and went above and beyond to address an issue we were experiencing with our boiler. He answered all our questions and took the time to show and explain all the steps along the way. He provided first class service and he will be the one we personally request for all our HVAC and heating needs in the future.
Plumbing Repair We have had a problem with our toilet flushing, called John C Flood, they were out the next day. Mike Dailey, our plummer fixed the problem, and once again, did a fantastic job. Mike is professional, knowledgeable, and a great service tech. Once again, John C Flood did a fantastic job!!

Highly pleased with my technicians knowledge of the heating system and his willingness to teach me. He took videos and pictures and explained what was happening to me. Awesome service.
Business must be good for John C flood because they don’t even show up for appointments. I thought my appointment was scheduled from eight in the morning till noon; however, I was corrected and told that it was from 10 AM to 2 PM. Yet, no one ever showed up and no one ever called to tell me they were going to be late or on their way. It’s really getting hard to fine good work these days.
Another excellent service experience with John C Flood. Jason serviced all the HVAC units at all four of my properties today. Quick, efficient, knowledgeable and very personable. Highly recommend JC Flood and Jason as the technician.
Dale is a wealth of knowledge, explaining what he's checking and observing along the way, patiently answering questions, and straight shooting. This is the third project I've worked with him on (three different properties.) Each time the same.

Eric and James came this morning as scheduled to install a new hot water heater. They were pleasant, efficient, and professional. The work was done on time, fully explained, and absolutely no problems were encountered with the entire project. We are quite happy with the service we got from John Steward as well, who advised us in selecting the proper hot water heater for our needs.
Have work with this company for over 15 yrs. Quality of the work is very good and staff are always friendly and helpful.
