My service Technician, Colby Creighton was an absolute machine when he came to repair my system! He was very knowledgeable, talked to my wife & I with respect and also made us laugh and feel comfortable around him. There were issues getting the motor we needed for our furnace, so he did everything he could to track down the part and get us back up and running the same day so we could have a cold house to sleep in. I wouldn’t want anyone else touching my system besides him and he’s highly recommended! Thank you, Colby and Southern Air!

Bottom line $240 to change a capacitor on the inside fan. The part is $4 and it is literally popping the wires off 2 terminals (5 seconds at best). Completely took advantage of my wife because she didnt know how exactly a capacitor works. And, it is very apparent that the "technician" didn't either because his explanation after she questioned was moronic. This happens every single time they come do what is in their monthly contract. We are told that our outside unit must have flooded back in 2016 because it is filthy dirty (they come clean it every year mind you). Also our heating system is old and we need to replace it (they will give us a great deal), the unit is a stainless unit 6 yrs old. And even more deceitful is that when she told them the part cost and ease of installation, they told her she was paying mainly for a 2 year warranty for that $4 part. WOW!!!! Reading other reviews here just solidifies they are taking advantage of everyone and just because they are doing it with a smile, somehow that makes it right. I know it doesn't matter to them but I will be changing providers. 1st Cavalier's heating and then bought out by Buddy's and now Southern bought them out. You left true customer service behind!!!!!!!!!

$89.00 fee to show up to your home, which doesn't include diagnosing any potential problem/issue (was not made aware of this until it was time for the Technician to tell me exactly what the issue is). To diagnose an issue (a leak for instance), that's a separate charge (ranging into the $100s). The $89.00 fee entailed two technicians showing up to my home, looking around, not telling what the issue is/was, but all the while, attempting to sell me expensive maintenance pages

Had a scheduled appointment (May5th) that was canceled the day of after the technician called and said he was on the way. I rearranged my entire schedule to accommodate this time my husband took off work early to accommodate the time. To be told by someone in the office that they are canceling my appointment because someone else had an emergency (I guess they figured someone need to be cool instead of me) and the only time they can come would be 10am the next morning and that is the only time they could offer me this week. My original appt. was an evening time at least ask if mornings work for us.

My technical questions prior to the sale and after installation were answered promptly and completely. All A-1 employees were clean, courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. The work site was properly cleaned up after the installation and I received a folder will all paperwork pertaining to my systems.

I am very satisfied with the work Buddy's A1 company completed at our house. They replaced old ducts, AC and furnace. Techs John and Alan are very friendly and professional. They worked diligently and provided high quality service. They answered all my questions. The product is exceptional. I did not know how nice AC could be until I got this new Carrier 5 ton unit and wonderful new ducts. Now I just feel very comfortable. It is very quiet, controls humidity in the house, and also has a UV light to keep air clean. Love it!

Initially I called because my A/C froze up. I was amazed that they don't charge extra for nighttime callouts. a tech was dispatched out to my house at my convenience. found the problem and then explained the pro's and cons of my next decision. I decided from the information the employee, (Jake) gave me and went with replacing my old unit and it was done, from first contact to completion was only three days. Their installation team led by Ben was outstanding. I highly recommend Buddy's A/C for all of your heating and cooling needs.
