I needed a whole A/C system replaced. J. Marin gave me multiple options, explained each one, and installed a new system quickly and for the agreed upon price. In a business with a lot of bad actors, J. Marin is NOT one of them! I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Excellent service! My HVAC guys from now on! Had several issues with my system and they fixed them asap! Very responsive, professional, on time, and gets the job done!

Had me back up and running quickly on Mardi Gras weekend of all times for my hvac to go out. Woke up with frozen toes but now I’m toasty and warm.

I called them on a Saturday and the guy told me to send him the address, he'd come out Monday morning. I did, but I knew I was in trouble when I called him that morning and he didn't even remember speaking to me. He told me to send the address again, that he'd come around 11am, I did, and he never showed.
Was looking forward to working with the business given the great reviews and I hear it's black-owned. Unfortunately when I called to schedule an appointment they said they would arrive between 10a-12p and verbally gave me the minimum cost up front. I was told to text my contact information and address. After doing so, I never received an appointment confirmation. I took off a day of work and texted again for confirmation. I finally got through to someone around 12:30 and they said they were running about 3 hours behind from a different job. I would have appreciated a heads up they were running behind, but I understand things don't always go as planned. I continued waiting for the remainder of the day and no call, no show. Highly disappointed.
Mr. Marin was SO friendly and helpful. He scheduled me for an appointment super fast and was very professional and did I mention friendly!? Excellent communication. Great customer and technical service. I know who I will call when something needs fixed again!
Wonderful experience! Got my heater working very quickly in this cold weather! Mr. J was so helpful and really got me out of a bind. Highly recommend this company!

I totally recommend using this company. J went above and beyond to make sure that my 98yr old dad’s heating system was repaired properly, and in an extremely timely matter. He even installed a new thermostat. My dad’s unit is an off brand older unit, other companies would’ve probably just opted to sell me a newer unit instead of looking for parts, but J found the parts. Kuddos!! The Pricing was really good also. I felt for the amount of work and great service, pricing was very reasonable. Thank You Marin’s Heating and A/C♥️
I feel like there needs to be a rating system that exceeds 5, and much of what Julien does goes well beyond what is expected as a professional and highly responsive individual. I contacted him about a heating issue and he stated that he'd be able to come by the end of the day, and in the worst case scenario, tomorrow. He called back within 15 minutes, because he had to wait on an order for a later job, and "he was just in the neighborhood". His responsiveness is excellent, and his ability to problem solve is impeccable. After years, I still highly recommend.
J Marin is the best. He has to be one of the most honest HVAC contractors in business. My AC went out this summer, and since my unit is older, I was prepared to have to buy a new one. It was just a fuse. My furnace went out this past week, and I was prepared for the worst again, but it was just a simple fix that took ten minutes. If you know nothing about HVAC like me, then you can trust that J Marin will take care of you like family.
The service was excellent I couldn't be happier. Mr Marin and his crew installed a new AC in less than 8 hours. A very pro work, efficient and quick. He himself took care of every detail and was supervising days later that everything was running well.

Good service and inexpensive too. They came over and fixed what I asked them to, and they answered all of my questions I had even after the repair.
I selected them to do the work based on the number of stars and they did get us up and running the same day. I do question that the price kept changing during the process. In the end, it may have taken them longer, so I was okay initially. However, I also asked for a quote to replace the furnaces and was told it would be 2 days later. It has been 2 weeks at that time I wrote this review. Be cautious
