They install 2 generators for my businesses and neither one works. Every time I call, they said they’re sending someone and no one shows up

Had flex duct only installed by this company and they are not great at their jobs. Porblem 1) New vents were bent and had mismatched screws throughout the house. 2) New vents and they cut the holes in newly installed and finished ceilings. Half of the ceilings had damage near every vent that was beyond what the vent covered. In some places literal chunks missing. 3) new flex installed and my unit was running almost continuously until I went into the attic and found mtiple flex not properly strapped to the outlet on the unit. They had zip ties only the foil to the outlet so condensation was on the external side of the foil and on one side ac literally blowing into the attic. 4) the installation manager (Brandon) called me back once after at least 30 calls. He is never in the office and his office workers either weed out calls about thing sthey need to address or he is just terrible at managing his return call list. 5) currently have an outstanding request for Brandon to call me back because it was agreed light ing AC would pay for the damages to my ceilings that had to be repaired and the final invoice was payed without taking this into account. Additionally, since the work was performed I now have a burning smell when my ac starts and they are supposed to come out and check it out. Do yourself a favor and go with a compamy that does better work. This company not only charges more but they do not do a great job. Your work will be contingent on getting the more experienced crew but if you aren't lucky (they only have 1) you'll be dealing with Brandon and that's no fun.

This place is awful. I havent been able to go more than 6 months with my stuff breaking down. I would love nothing more than for them to come get everything and to start over. Large regret over doing business with this place

Expensive but worth paying the price if you want it done correctly. They service my Generac and installed it years ago. It always works, never had any issues. Anyone looking to install a generator should be using them. Easy to get an appointment ahead of time. Roy is professional and honest. I’ll be using them to service my A/C soon.

They came and serviced our generator during the power outage after Ida. Very responsive. My brother-in-law couldn't even get a return call from his generator contractor.

A/C breaks and these guys happen to be the first I call and they can get a guy on-site that afternoon...so far so good. Guy arrives and sees a broken contactor (a simple relay) and says it'll be $400. I knew I was getting ripped, but if it'd get the A/C turned back on that afternoon I can live with that. Next, the start capacitor is bad, $300 to replace that. The compressor still won't start so he says a hard start kit might get it to start. $500 for that and it still won't start. It's at that point that he diagnoses the compressor as being seized up and he removes the last two parts and doesn't charge me for them. The compressor is under warranty which covers the part, but not the labor. The technician indicates that the labor would be expensive that it might just make sense to replace the whole unit. I ask them to quote me on the labor for the warranty service and replacement options and costs. Here is what they came back with: Labor for warranty repair: $4,000 Replace the unit with the same model as I had: $12,200 Replace unit with similar unit with variable speed compressor: $12,800 Replace unit with less efficient single stage unit: $8,000 All of these prices seemed really high so I called a competitor and got these prices: Labor for warranty repair: $1500 Replace unit with same model: $8,700 Replace with similar unit with variable speed compressor: $8,200 Didn't quote on less efficient model. Notice how Lightning was going to charge more for the variable speed unit even though it costs them less. Lightning's prices on both the repair work that they did and the proposed work are CONSIDERABLY higher than their competitor. When I spoke to my father-in-law, he recounted similar experiences with them as other low reviews on here, basically charging for non-existent services thinking the customer wouldn't know any better about. I will NEVER call these scammer's again and would caution anyone else from doing so as well. At the very least, shop around

This company charged my elderly Mother who lives alone in Metairie, LA $263 to change one freaking light switch!!! Talk about taking advantage of a little old lady with no electrical experience. Unfortunately I live out of town. You guys should be ashamed of yourself.

I work for a electrical company. We were called out to a senior citizens home 2 days before Christmas, the home owner tells me they called Lighting services to repair a problem one bedroom has lights and receptacle without power. When lighting services employee get there he tells home owner you need to pay me$85 for service call before I can start working. They write a check the guy looks in bedroom then goes in attick he comes down tells home owner the problems in the attack and the space the problems in is to small for me to fit in and he leaves. I won't call these thieves electricians. There was aGFI receptacle in the bedroom that was tripped all he had to do was know what he was doing, tripped GFI's are the cause of 75 percent of service calls. Anyways I called Lighting services to ask them to refund these 85 year old people money back and the woman who answered was the owners wife same owner who made service call and she refused to make the refund. Please don't trust Lighting service with your lives,

I was serviced by this company twice both times after there services were complete I had water leaking from my attic. The 1st time it happened within minutes of them leaving so they came back and corrected. But still leaving me with damage to the ceiling. This last and final time the leakage began over the weekend. When I called to inform them the rep. was rude and refused to acknowledge any liability on there part, again I am left with more damage to my doorseal and wall. I was told I would get a call from a manager but that never happened.

Horrible service and really a total scam. The service was set up by Bryant for warranty repair. They charged $84 to come out. The extremely overweight tech had every excuse in the book to refuse even looking at our unit. It was too high, too scary, dont have a ladder, not comfortable on scaffolding, set back too small, etc etc. Our unit is on a platform that was built to code with permits and inspections from the city of New Orleans. But this tech is telling me otherwise. Then he says he can't do anything anyway because we are a commercial building- what?! My home is a commercial building? Total scam; avoid this company at all costs

Lightning Service was contacted by Generac to do a home consultation for installing a generator at my home. I received an email stating the appointment was confirmed for July 1 in the morning, but no additional correspondence. On June 30th, I received a phone call at 1:51 p.m. from Gail with Lightning Service to confirm my July 1 appointment at 8 a.m., but I was on a conference call for work. I then received another phone call at 1:59 p.m. and an email at 2:00 p.m. When I was able to call them back at 2:21 p.m., I explained to Gail that I would not be available at 8 a.m., but could do 8:30 a.m. to which she stated, "I'll have the sales person there between 8 and 8:30 and I repeated I wouldn't be at my home at 8 a.m. She was rude and after I hung the phone up with her, I ended up calling back and cancelling the appointment. I would not recommend this service if this is how they treat customers when trying to get new business as I could only imagine how they would treat customers once they already have their business.
