Called Southland because one of my units wasn’t cooling properly and they came out the same day to do diagnostics. Two days later they had the part in hand and came to install. System works great now. Melanie in the office is awesome and easy to deal with and both techs Jordan and Chris did a fantastic job. Very nice guys and polite. Both work very hard.
They have always been professional and on time with their work.
Dedrick and Miguel did a complete HVAC replacement including all duct work. They showed up on time everyday, kept us informed of what was completed and what they had left to do. Their time estimates of how long it would take were spot on. Also paid meticulous attention to the small details like ensuring the drain on the inside unit was wrapped in insulation. We couldn't be happier with their work.

I have used Southland for many years and they never fail to deliver. The installers were Jeff and Albert, with Brandon helping - a lot! They are professional and worked very well together, often with a sense of humor, which I appreciated. Thank you all for a great job!
Called Southland AC and they came out quickly. My bedroom AC was on, but not cooling, The AC tech Kelly came out and started his evaluation of the problem and in short time discovered the capacitor was out and not working. So he had one on his truck and replaced it. Now we’re cooling off again. Yeahhh Excellent super service, very professional and courageous. Thx highly recommend Southland AC. Pleased with their service.
They are friendly, polite and prompt. Job was completed quickly (within 4 hours). None of the workers were idle. They cleaned up once the work was finished. No debris left behind.

Southland went above and beyond to install additional ductwork and registers in my 1800 year old New Orleans home where all my A/C and ductwork is located in under my home. I have been a customer since 2010 when they installed a new central system and I have never been dissatisfied with the quality and professionalism of the organization. Thanks again to Peter, Mel and the crew of Jeff, Brandon and Andrew, for keeping my and my home comfortable during our sweltering summers and cold winters.
The quality of the work & professionalism was very high. I recently purchased from Southland A/C a new central a/c & heating system for my condo. They installed the two new indoor & outdoor units within a day and a half. Jeff & Albert came promptly each day & wasted no time tending to the job. If they ran into any issues during the installation, it was quickly solved & they immediately kept right on working. These guys were cordial & friendly to me, but were serious about finishing what they came to do. And because of that attitude, they completed the full installation on schedule. Also, while they kept busy, if I had any questions to ask, they did not mind answering. They were detailed & thorough. It was obvious to me these men were very experienced. Now, I must add that the first night something technical caused the a/c not to work. I called Southland to report the problem & in less than 30 minutes, Jeff and Albert were back again & were able to resolve the minor problem quickly & satisfactorily. This was my second time I dealt with this company & I can assure any future customers, Southland A/C & Heating Inc. is reputable & honest. All of the people I came in contact with are nice & will treat you with kindness & respect. Service here is outstanding!
Jeff & Albert did a great job replacing my old attic unit. They were on time, efficient and responsive to all of our questions. I would definitely recommend this installation crew.

I chose this company because my dad swore by Southland AIr Conditioning and heating, Inc. for many years. I couldn’t have asked for more sincerely pleasant, professional and informative installers, named Justin and Charles. They not only worked fast, cleaned up behind themselves, gave me tips, but wired things differently to make things simple and easy for me to get to and easy for me to understand, a single woman. I can’t say enough positivity on Justin and Charles ! I had a wonderful experience and would recommend them to anyone!!! 😊
Southland Air Conditioning & Heating, Inc. has serviced the AC unit at my home for many years. Southland recently installed a new/replacement unit in my parents' home. Justin and Charles, the installers were professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. The office staff and other technicians are easy to work with as well. Highly recommended!!
After using a few different AC companies over the past 4 years I've found that Southland is really the best. Every AC/Heater will eventually need service. Southland has become my 1st call "go-to" for my AC/Heating stuff. The tech who came out recently, Chris, was exceptional. He communicated well, was on time, knew his stuff and took care of business. There was no "hard sell" or attempt to up-sell for unnecessary parts or services. Just honest information about what is going on with my system. A very pleasant and professional experience.

We need 3 old underpowered 2T units upgraded to new 4T units for our 6,000 sq ft property. "Marketing" department proceeded to argue with us (a new experience) and told us we should replace with three new similarly underpowered units. Refused to visit and review the property. Ultimately stated our HVAC needs "were not a good fit for them". Do they simply have a surplus of small units they need to shift? Thankfully a more professional outfit visited, confirmed our needs, and all is proceeding.
I woke up to a warm house early Fri morning. I called over 10 companies. Southland sent someone within a few hours. Brandon was very responsive and professional. He diagnosed the problem and was able to fix my a/c over the next couple of hours. I highly recommend Southland and will def continue to be a customer.
I have used Southland a few times now between my business and my home and they are always helpful! The few times I have needed to call them it has been after hours and they always show up! Service is always quick and pleasant!
On time estimate - they had an opening and were able to replace a 2-ton upstairs central A/C & Heating system later in the week. On time, professional, clean, friendly, did a great job! Jeff, Albert & Chris are highly recommended!
