Good place to buy a unit or have your unit repaired.
Perfect. I love tried and true. Used for decades. Always professional and careful with excellent service, products and price.
Had a new upstairs A/C heating system installed in July 2021 by Brooks. Found it not working yesterday. Brooks came out and found a loose tstat wire inside the system. This means that when they installed the system the technician did not make sure it was tight. Took the guy about 5 minutes to discover it. Brooks said the system agreement covers parts but not service and still charged me $86.20 for something that was their fault on the installation. UPDATE: We were contacted by brooks and advised that they were going to refund the charge. Thank you for standing behind your work.
I would have given more stars, but he showed up 2 hours late.
Service Tech David and the young guy that helped him were very friendly and worked diligently to get the unit looked after, cleaned and back to working like it's supposed to. Thank y'all again for being prompt, pleasant and getting us cool again!
Horrible service. Should be reported on Ripoff.com. Cohearse customers into getting a maintenance plan to get discounts on services and or parts and is totally misleading. The techs we had come out are not well qualified to handle repairs, testing, or even talk with folks correctly. I gave them 289.00 for a contract and have gotten nothing out of it. My wife and I feel like we should report to BBB. But posting in places like this and telling everyone to steer away is more effective. Recently we had a leak on outside coil, they never offered to repair only wanted to replace. The price to replace was outrageous. I called another HVAC company, the coil was easily repaired and all is running efficiently. I wasted so much money with this company. Now since this review has been posted here and on other formats, they have been calling. Excuses are not results and I don't need to hear any of those. If they want the complaint rectified, send out an apology letter with a refund of the cost of the service contract. You had is over a chopping block with the irresponsible service and responses to our issue. Now that the public can read our concerns we have the sword. In this day and age of no loyalty, laziness and price gouging Brooks should needs to be aware, they have lost a customer for life. You have our address your welcome to send the refund to that.

The Brooks technician was here on time. He serviced the furnace and answered my questions. He was very nice.

Professional and they take good care of my rent house.
Called on a saturday . They asked to charge extra for coming in a weekend. He stayed 20 minutes . told me my system is no longer working and needed to be replaced completely. Gave me the company number to call and get estimate for a new AC unit .He charged me $120 for 20 min. On Monday I called another Company, he also stayed 20 minutes , told me there was a hole, which he sealed then charged the system with Freon and it has been ICE cold since. I called Brooks, they apologized, and they sent me my money back. No further comments
Called them for quote, had the lowest "show up price" , I wasn't home and they came that day, diagnosed the problem to be a small part causing the issue, and replaced it on the spot. Less than $150 bucks total including the price to show up and figure out the issue. Straight up bad to the bone. I was dying and they got me back to being cold in a jiffy. Seriously blessed I called them.
Caution! - This place is run by dishonest people who will give you runaround for getting work done. They installed the unit my new house and it broke and they keep telling me that they cannot give a timeframe on when they can come replace it. They will give you all kinds of excuses. Very frustrating, I would not do business with them. You have been warned.
David was an excellent service person. He was helpful in answering all my questions with a professional manner.

THIS PAST SUMMER I HAD A WATER LEAK FROM THE DRAIN PAN AND THE BROOKS HEATING AND AIR HELPED ME OUT AND GOT ME A NEW SYSTEM AND I LOVE IT AND REALLY LOVE IT AT NIGHT KEEPS ME COLD AND WARM WHEN I NEED IT.....

I had to replace the A/C units and heaters in our house. I obtained numerous quotes and Brooks beat them all by far. The install was completed in only a day. Everyone from Stephen Sherman the salesman to the installers were a pleasure to work with. Don't hesitate to give them a call.
Quickly responded to our request to service gas logs that we had purchased from another company. Both the receptionist and the technician were very responsive and pleasant. Will certainly call them again .
