TCG has sent Mitch Muffler to our house a couple times for routine tune up and maintenance of our AC and furnace. He is a very friendly and professional service tech! TCG was assigned to us through a home warranty company but we will continue to use them by choice.

A technician came out to do a basic AC tune up/inspection on a perfedtly good running AC unit. He ended up blowing out the coil in the AC unit.. Trying to schedule them to get them back to fix it has been horrible. THEY broke the unit, but not making a priority to fix it right away.

DO NOT USE. This company contracts for Renters Warehouse and will charge you three times to do one job. They are crooked. They shut down business at 4:30 pm.

This company went above and beyond! Couldn't be happier with both people I talked to. From the gal who called me to schedule a time, then called back and said they could be at our house earlier than expected. To Mitch, the amazing technician. Patience of a Saint... and on the Friday before Easter. Our furnace went out sometime in the night & I called AHS, who thankfully uses Total Comfort for repairs like this. They will continue to get our business for much more than warranty work! Keep up the great work and thanks again for all your knowledge & expertise! Perfect timing to get that Harley fixed, Mitch. It'll be a great weekend to go out for a ride! Thanks again!!! :-)

Absolutely do not use this company! After returning home from a vacation on a Tuesday night our water heater was broken. We contacted our home warranty company and they worked with this company. A technician came on Thursday night and said it was a valve problem. Friday night another technician came to our house to replace this valve. Before even starting he was able to tell that the whole water heater needed replaced. Although, the home warranty wouldn’t get this information until the next Monday since it was a Friday night. Now Tuesday, a week without hot water, with 4 small children at home who we have to boil water for their bath every night. We can not use our dish washer because they’ve turned off the hot water. The company says they can’t get us in for a replacement until Friday, 10 days without hot water. If the first technician would have recognized the problem this could have been solved days prior and the company sees no issues with this but yet advertise 24/7 service.

American Home Shield selected Total Comfort Group to diagnose a problem with our furnace. I asked for help on 2/8/23 and got a phone call right away to schedule a visit for the next morning. Within 2 hours the problem was diagnosed and fixed! Something another company couldn't do. They tried to make us get a new furnace when all we needed was a new blower motor. Thank you for bringing back our heat, Total Comfort Group!

Tuesday morning our furnace blower stopped working, so no AC. Put in a call to our home warranty, HSA, and they contracted Des Moines Excavating LLC within 20 minutes and had Total Comfort Group scheduled to come out Friday morning as that's as soon as was available. Got a call back from them earlier today (Thursday) that there was an opening and they could come out tonight. So David with TCG showed up about 7:30pm and after 2 hours we had a new blower motor and our AC was working again. I can't say enough about how grateful I am that a company would go above and beyond to help us out. We were prepared to wait for Friday, but getting it working tonight was such a nice surprise. Will definitely be recommending these guys in the future. EDIT: Just over 2 years later, our blower motor went out again. I applaud TCG for getting someone out promptly and in 2 days we had a working HVAC fan again. I feel compelled to drop my review from 5 stars to 4 though, because I was charged $75 for a new part that is sold online for around 5 bucks. I understand that markups can and should happen, but this seems excessive considering they can likely get these capacitors for 2-3 bucks. Other than that I'm still pleased with this company overall.
