I am very pleased with the service Blake provided. He was prompt, explained every step of the process, gave me opportunities to ask questions and answered patiently and thoroughly. When completed he gave me payment options. Blake was very personable and competent.

We are so happy that Schaal Heating and Cooling worked weekends. We called at 8:00am on saturday morning and we had a tech at the house at 7:00 that night. We were so impressed with the thorough and professional nature of the technition Bryce. His methodical analysis of our cooling system and willingness to explain the process to us as it was performed was very reasuring. He was able to identify the issue with our AC unit and get us up and running again. We knew our old AC system would need to be replaced soon. Bryce was able to explain some options and get us scheduled to talk with one of there sales managers this coming week. The best part of the service call was that all of the diagnostic work he performed was free. We only paid for the part he replaced. I will be recommending Schaal to all my friends and family. Thanks for getting us cooled down again Bryce!!!

Summer time in Iowa is HOT! In my opinion, there just isn’t anything worse than coming to terms with your home air conditioner not working… It’s not only uncomfortable, it’s expensive, it’s a hassle, it’s basically just a handful of unpleasant experiences all bundled together to make one miserable experience… unless you call Schaal’s… I knew my system’s days were numbered. I also knew that no matter what, I needed someone I trusted to help me through the entire process. Seeing how much Angie Moffitt enjoyed working at Schaal, I knew Schaal’s was the place for me. Upon making the initial call, I spoke with Kinsie about requesting Angie, and of course she was happy to. It felt right from the start. As I am usually patient with these types “emergencies,” I was surprised to be seemingly bumped up since they knew I was completely down. They didn’t have to do that- but they did. And I was able to get an appointment sooner than I had thought. Once Angie arrived, she took great care in keeping things clean, professional, and thorough. She had another great Schaal’s tech with her -Adriana. Both of them together made the entire experience as smooth and as hassle free as possible. One funny thing that happened was while hosing out my old a/c unit, the water line in my basement burst. Obviously this was bound to happen whoever was going to use the hose next… The amount of compassion and concern those two showed was amazing. The situation was completely laughable- they made an even worse situation almost enjoyable. Again, I was bumped up when Dave with the Comfort team had an opening in his schedule just later that afternoon. He made every option clear and help weigh the pros and cons of what “my” decision would mean to me. I found yet another Schaal’s employee that I gained trust in and was happy to spend time with. As is the case for most of us, I just do not have a lot of wiggle room in an already over spent budget. I was told a couple of times that day that “we may no

The technicians were very professional. Explained the system to us and helped set up the app on our phones. We would definitely recommend Schaal to others.
We had a Carrier Heat Pump furnace and a A/C installed today. The installers were SUPER professional and knowledgeable. They made the whole installation painless and hassle free. Clean & Neat!. SO nice to work with a company who values thier customers.
Ryan and Chris came out to fix my air conditioning unit. They went beyond my expectations of just fixing the unit and provided me information on what the problem was and what I might need to be aware of as an issue. Their inspection was very thorough. I will call Schall in the future for all my heating and air conditioning issues.
We received quality service today from Schaal. Angie, our service technition, provided a thorough assesment of our AC issue ... then delivered on fixing it. Angie also took the time to explain how our system worked, while placing an emphasis on customer service. Schaal has gained a loyal customer from our family.
I have so far had two great experiences...one with Jordan Tait, the other with Dave Hulling, both personable&knowledgeable...&now I am looking forward to having a new furnace, air conditioner, &water heater installed. Really happy to have the folks at Schaal helping me out, I absolutely recommend them. The work completed this week was efficient&thorough. I was very impressed with Bailee Samson&his crew of an additional two (sorry not to know full names), plus Matt Benda, who came to the house as well. I am very pleased! &this week, a hot Iowa June week, brought Dan, Matt, &Jacob to the house to address an issue with the A/C. Problems investigated&solved&I am so thankful! Great crew! Knowledgeable, devoted, &friendly which makes it all fun, even when things aren’t working quite as they should. All good now! &Sam came by today as part of my service plan/agreement - routine maintenance, &everything is ok! Sam was friendly&knowledgeable&willing to answer any questions I had, &to help in whatever way. Another great experience with Schaal! 6/15 Blake and Bryce were here today, very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional! Thank you!
Came out to check ac and furnace. Repaired ac. Information on new installation and rep coming. Ryan was very professional and informed. Loved Ryan. 6/12/23 replaced our water heater. We called. They came out within an hour and replaced our water heater all in one day. Thanks Ryan!!!!
Sam and Von were punctual, professional, and efficient. They diagnosed our issue and had it repaired same-day. Brownie points for humoring my pups with fetch and lots of belly rubs. Thanks again!
Blake was able to go about his maintenance indoors/outdoors and take care of work to be done without interrupting my home work. He was thorough and documented his work before & after with photos on his iPad. We were satisfied with his work.

Sam did a great job of explaining all of our options. He didn’t try to sell us something we didn’t need and was frank with us about all of the different options. He was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had.
Why would you leave the thermostat on cool when you know the unit is too low on r22? It ran for 20 hours before I caught it. The condensate pump was working before the tech arrived and not working after the tech left. This lead to a pretty big puddle of water after the ice melted. The ice the tech created. I hope you aren't teaching your technicians to create problems that need to be fixed. Seems sketchy.
We had Blake in our home to do the maintenance upkeep on our A/C system. He was great went through everything with us. Every step explaining everything that he would be doing. I will never use another company to do anything with our HVAC system Schall has been absolutely amazing. They provide a service that is unmatched. Thank you! Blake is welcome in our home anytime.
Blake was here to do my annual HVAC maintenance check and noticed the water heater was leaking. Very polite and took the time to explain what he was doing and why. Very professional and knowledgeable about both systems. Saved me an unexpected surprise when the water heater might have failed at any time. Greatly appreciate the extra mile and effort from Blake.
