This is the second time we’ve worked with them! Great HVAC company!
Two years ago, the first and, until now, only review I ever wrote was to give Efficient Systems a glowing five-star testimonial. Since then, the head manager, Rob, has left. With his departure most of the talent left as well. I found this all out on my last, and I do mean last, maintenance visit. As part of the service plan I paid for, they come out once a year to service my water heater and HVAC unit. Although several upsetting things happened on this "routine" visit (the water heater flush forced me to go get my water tested because they implied my water softer might have broken <not true>, and they actually installed an outside light upside down. Swear to God. Upside down!), I think the following example illustrates best what kind of company they are now. The air conditioner was working as intended when the very affable technician came over to service it. When he was done, the air conditioner just wouldn't stop. It got down to 54° inside before I had to turn it off all together. Hey, accidents happen. I wasn't worried. When they came back out to fix it, I was charged over $1,000. The new manager explained that "equipment breaks". He maintained vehemently that it was pure coincidence that everthing was fine before their visit and a freezing arctic afterwards. Two years ago I wrote, "I use Efficient Systems because I don't know anything about plumbing or electrical work. I do know about customer service, and theirs is outstanding. In addition to their reasonable pricing, you won't find a company that cares more about keeping their customers happy." Sadly, those days are gone.

I bought a house in January and wanted to have the HVAC system checked out more thoroughly than what my inspector did before I turn the AC on this year. Ryan came out and checked everything. There was one measurement that was a little below spec, and Ryan gave me all the pertinent info. I appreciate the help and will be glad to have them back in the fall to do the regular checkup on the furnace side of things.
Adam V. was a great help! Very informative, friendly, and timely. He diagnosed and fixed our heating problem quickly and easily. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

We had a pretty hefty workload for the company including water heater replacement and electrical work. There were a few miscommunications during the process, but Sean and Efficient Systems worked with us to make sure we got exactly what we were needing. The quality of work performed even on certain parts of the job needing revision was top notch. The techs were always on time and professional people to work with. At the end of the job you can trust that Efficient systems will make sure you are taken care of.
Updated Review: 9/2020 TL;DR Great value, providing relatively affordable access to superior solutions; courteous and knowledgeable technicians; peace of mind. I recently noticed that my conventional gas water heater was leaking. The previous owner told me it was eight years old, and I confirmed it was the tank itself, so I needed a replacement. Since I had some time, I got a couple of quotes. Full disclosure, I have an annual maintenance contract with Efficient Systems; I like knowing I can rely on them. Nevertheless, it is always a good idea to get more than one quote. I contacted a competitor whose number was waaay more for the exact same services and products. So I felt really good about going with Efficient Systems pricewise. I had gotten quotes from both parties for a straight replacement and a tankless option. Given the advantages and the fact that the total cost for the tankless wasn't crazy expensive, I opted for the tankless. This was a very involved installation, but the technicians handled it was aplomb. They were very communicative with our household and each other. The end result is a super clean, space saving, and efficient solution. It just screams professionalism. The unit is performing really well, and I have to say I never thought I'd be delighted by a water heater. So, yeah, I have zero regrets, and let me tell you that is a rare thing these days. I have had, I think, six or seven people from Efficient Systems at my house, and to a man they've been consummate professionals. If you have tried hiring skilled and semi-skilled people in the last few years, I think you will appreciate what I am saying. Previous Review: Late 2019 I have never had a more positive experience with any professional working on my home. Joshua and Sean were consummate professionals, and I feel confident in recommending Efficient Systems to anyone. My needs were very particular, and together they designed and executed a great solution at a fair price.
Darryl was kind, helpful, thorough and fixed my AC issue. He came by at 7:30 am, after I called close to 6 am due to waking up in a home that was around 90 degrees. Because of his prompt professional service, I was able to stay safe, care for my family & go to work (from home) myself w/ no issue. I am grateful. And will consider this service for other home needs. I look forward to being able to use their plumbing service next.
I highly recommend Efficient Systems, Inc. for all home electrical repairs. I thought I had an outlet problem, but Adam V. found a much larger problem after checking my home's electrical system. I really appreciate Adam's knowledge and thoroughness when he repaired my home. Efficient Systems, Inc. is an excellent service provider. I recommend them to everyone.
Adam V. visited our home recently on behalf of efficient Systems Inc, Indianapolis to perform their routine quality Control review our newly installed HVAC System, air and heat. In addition Adam very professionally tightened up three long time sagging flexible 6" ducts (unrelated to the recent install) that hung lower than the ceiling joists. Now that they have been raised a good 8 to 10 inches we will be able to install the drop ceiling we have been postponing. In addition Adam tidied up our water heater gas vent duct which made a big improvement. We very much recommend Efficient Systems Inc, Indianapolis for any future HVAC or plumbing work you may need.
Excellent a/c & heating company! Very trustworthy and professional. I highly recommend using them. Today Rob fixed my central a/c unit (replacing condenser motor and annual maintenance) and was so wonderful to work with. Thanks!!!
I had a new air conditioning unit installed on May 19,2020. The installation went smoothly and the 2 technicians I interacted with were professional and friendly. It will be very nice to have a fully functioning unit with summer coming. Efficient systems also schedules a follow up visit after the installation to make sure that everything is working properly. I think that is great. Recommend them.
I never like to give a negative review. We needed some electrical work done, just a couple of outdoor outlets. The price was 2x and almost 3x higher than my other quote. Additionally, with COVID-19 I'd expect a bit more sensitivity to social distancing and masks, the technician didn't offer to wear a mask, didn't seem to be interested in it, and wasn't veery aware of the 6 foot distance. He didn't seem to be to interested in the work so its not surprising of the the huge quote and the lack of enthusiasm. Really to bad.
Bryant was great! He was very nice and did an amazing job. He explained everything to me and made sure I didn't have any questions before he left. He's a great guy and will definitely recommend him to others.
Efficient Systems did a fantastic job installing our new heating and cooling system. Their years of experience and professionalism was bestbin class. At no time did we feel pressured and there was no upselling. John was very knowledgeable and dedicated time and compassion to our needs.
The company technician Adam called a half hour before the appointment to let me know he was on the way. He appeared to know what he was doing and looked to do a great of A/C tune-up and a Water Heater Flush. He was knowledgeable of the job and went through the paperwork with me to make sure I understood it. He was neat and I would certainly recommend him to anyone needing Heating/AC service.
Mark showed up promptly, went to work right away and quickly identified the problem we had with our lighting not working and our outlets not being grounded as a result of a remodel 3 months prior. He had great communication and I would definitely recommend him to anyone reading this
Skilled Nest Thermostat technician. Recently had complete heat pump and air handling unit installed. I have a Nest thermostat and each technician I have seen is knowledgeable about it and were able to explain things to me. Excellent office staff, sales and techs.
Everything you would expect out of a real professional, Mark C. of Efficient Systems, Inc was it. And he is quite a jovial fellow at that. I am very satisfied with his work today, and more to follow. I totally trust him to do a fine job replacing my 34 year old bathroom fan next.
