They came out and looked at my AC over a week ago. They were supposed to send the photos to my warranty company. And they’ve ignored me and my warranty company for 9 days. Super unprofessional. Not even sure why they’ve done this. It’s 90 degrees in my house, and they literally don’t care. It’s really sad. Because at this point all they did was waste my time when I could’ve had someone else come and fix my AC unit.

FANTASTIC customer service! PROFESSIONAL throughout the process (uniform was questionable though lol)! UNDERSTANDING and SUPPORTIVE! ACCOMODATING! Got connected through my home warranty company AHS. It was an emergency situation where my A/C unit went out, temps in the home reached the 90s and I have a small baby. I explained the situation and the earliest they could get me was a few days later which was still faster than the 2 other companies I spoke with previously. The guy on the phone (I wish I remembered his name) told me that if someone cancelled or a job finished sooner that he would keep me in mind. I called in the next day just to check...and he said I might be able to get me in. He called me a couple hours later and said I got an opening if you're available and they were able to squeeze me in! To me, this was nothing short of amazing because they honored their word and didn't have to accommodate. I really appreciate this team for working this out. To add, they identified the problem and had the unit working again in less than 30 mins. And I think the unit is working better than it was before they worked their magic!!! During a time where availability of all goods and services are tight, service is subpar, and people just dont care like they used to, these guys cared enough to follow up and follow through and provided and quick and quality service. No hassle, all hustle. I would recommend Butler M-K for any one looking for a good HVAC team/service.

Technician came in my house told me to turn the air on I did that then we walked out to the side of the house to the center air unit he looked at me and said well that's 20 years old you need to replace it then he walked back to my internet front door put his hand over the heat duct and said it's working fine tell me he had to talk to his supervisor for an estimate to replace it I said it don't need to be replaced it needs to be serviced they didn't told my home warranty company $6,500 to replace it they didn't check my furnace it didn't check the thermostat or anything he should have checked my five-year-old nephew could have told me this what he told me so I gave up and I called service Plus all I needed was my unit cleaned I would not recommend Butler to my dead parents let alone ever use them again

Gabe was so helpful and willing to make sure my experience was great. There was something wrong with my heating and thermostat and I was assigned Butler M-K through my home warranty program and was worried because of some negative reviews. I have no idea who could complain. They were responsive, prompt, and professional. They even offered to come back and explain my thermostat for me when I messed things up again. I’ve already recommended them to my friends in the area. Give small business a chance!

I had a warranty request go through them and they are liars. I had a home inspection of my furnace and no issues ran within requirements. They tried to tell me my heat exchanger was a preexisting condition which it couldn’t possibly be. When called butler back they were very rude to me and my wife trying to explain to them how this cannot be. It left me very disappointed and the service was absolutely horrible. Hope I never have to talk to them again.

I dealt with this company for nearly month, and my issue was not fixed! My home warranty company first sent this company out to repair my AC and furnace. The first technician that came out, Dean, did not look at my furnace, open it up, check coils, etc. he just went to the backyard and looked at the outside AC. He misdiagnosed the issue and replaced a $10-20 part then left! After using my AC two more times, it was back to blowing out hot air. The company then sent out a second technician who stated I had a severe leak, overpriced me on Freon, and refused to fix the leak because “he didn’t have all day”. He left and said he could come back in the Spring!! This is October! Later, when my home warranty company called Butler Heating and Cooling, Nate falsely stated that I refused Freon at that time. Thankfully, my home warranty company is allowing me to use a different vendor. I would never recommend this awfully run, and terribly unprofessional company to anyone in the Indy area. I was able to get a new vendor out, and they checked everything, were respectful, and outshined Butler Hearing and Air.

Great company! Made a call and they were able to fit me in that day. The tech came and on time and got right to work. I was expecting to have to get a whole new unit as ours is old but they were able to fix it for a lot less then I was expecting to pay that day. This company was assigned by our Home Warranty company. The serviceman was grumpy but competent. They wanted to charge $775 over what the warranty would cover but refused to email me an estimate. I was just supposed to pay for their padding of the bill. I requested another more honest company to be assigned to my AC needs. Highly NOT recommended.

Butler was sent out by Mr home warranty company CHW. I purchased my home 4 months ago and had no record of any previous maintenance. The first tech simply topped off the Puron & left without checking the a/c unit nor the furnace. That didn't fix the issue so, I called the warranty company to have them come back out. I asked for the same tech thinking he would know what he just did and could back track from there. Instead, a completely different tech was sent out. This tech also never went out to look at the unit or furnace. This particular tech literally shoved a paper towel in the wall behind the thermostat and stated that the fridge was giving the thermostat a false reading. This equates to taking your car to a mechanic because it's overheating. Instead of the mechanic looking under the hood, he notices that a taillight is out. He then states that the taillight is the reason the car is running hot without ever looking under the hood. First off, I know this is not the first house to have the fridge close to the thermostat. Secondly, if that was the case, wouldn't the unit be working overtime to cool the house because it thinks it's 80° inside even on the nights it was down in the 60's at night. It should have been freezing inside if you follow the refrigerator theory. I had to refuse to have them come back to my home because they would never look directly at the a/c unit. How can you ever diagnose an issue with an a/c if you never look directly at the unit. Once I finally had a completely different company come, they looked at the furnace and the a/c unit itself. It was then that the compressor was found to by faulty. Not only would I never use them again, I have switched warranty companies because they were trying to force me to stick with a service that was not working for my good.
