Great job, quickly found problems and fixed AC blowing COLD! Justin technician even fixed a valve, that potentially caused the leak, when others might have just popped the cap on and said it good. How dare they leave me completely satisfied. JK I can't say enough about these guys. They answered any of my questions even if it didn't pertain to the job . Installed new ducting and system. Took like a little over a week and at the end it kind of sucked because after seeing them that long they started to seem like family . You can't go wrong going with them. They will steer you strait and won't give you BS answers or quick fixes.
Service guy was very polite and explained everything perfectly. Was meticulous in checking my system. Recommend

I never write reviews but I was so impressed with Eric in how professional and knowledgeable he was about his job. He explained everything to me and worked very quickly. I had already got another quote from other company but didn’t feel comfortable with their honesty. I was right on with my feelings because this company saved me thousands of dollars. I will never call any other company for my heating and cooling problems. Baer Heating and Cooling should be proud of the way Eric represents their company. You can feel comfortable choosing Baer.

Baer Heating and Cooling did a great job from start to finish on our new heating and cooling system for our second floor project. The Journeyman installer was very nice and professional. He was on the jobsite by 7:00 a.m. to begin work. Baer HVAC exceeded our expectations as a very reilable contractor who cares about doing a quality job. They said 7am and they showed up before 7am! Usually I get people that are very late. Kyle and Kyle are Very professional, very clean, they even covered up my washer and dryer before they started working! Kyle answered all my questions, was very nice! My air conditioner works better than it ever did in the 9 years I have lived in this house! I would definitely recommend them! Jenny is very sweet and helpful, thank you guys so much for the great work you do!
My wife, Kara and I had been overdue to have our air conditioner/furnace replaced, in Lebanon, Illinois. I called 4 other companies, each of them came out, wanted to oversize my equipment. Needless to say, we’re thinking they’re trying to take advantage of us. My last call was Baer heating and cooling. Thank goodness I did. Randy came out, measured EACH room, to discover I only required a 2-1/2 ton unit. Randy =⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Then I spoke to Jenny, at the office, and she put together my Ameren rebates. Came back to tell me we qualified for $900. So, now we need to coordinate to get an install date locked in.(between 7-7:15am) I know there’s more behind the scenes, but I can’t write all night. Jenny=⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So, the install date is here, 7-7:15am. Two young men showed up at 7:05am. The 2 techs I had the pleasure of meeting were both named Kyle. Friendly, fast, efficient, etc. etc.etc. They were both well trained on different aspects of the install. Not to mention courteous. Kyle 1=⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kyle 2=⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Of course, anyone who needs to replace equipment as I did, u may expect to be taken for a ride, pay too much, or even install of the wrong size unit. I felt NONE of these with Baer. You guys run a tight ship and everyone should be proud of the people that work there. You guys at baer are awesome and I plan on spreading the word about the top shelf company u have. Well done, to all parties involved. I’m glad I picked up the phone, one last time, dialed and had Jenny walk me thru.
We needed an entirely new system in an older home and contacted multiple companies for quotes. Randy came out and inspected our system and developed an excellent option with minimal downtime and very fair pricing. Kyle was our installer, he was very knowledgeable, prompt, and conscientious. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
They also have a storage facility.

Great company to deal with, when you deal with Randy Baer you are dealing with an expert not a salesman. We had an issue with other HVAC companies wanting to even do the job due to a 14” Crawl clearance. They straight up told me it couldn’t be done and I was crazy. Baer got it done and in good time ( even during the coldest week of the year) . We use them for regular maintenance, emergencies and new installation and each time our expectations were exceeded. Kyle our technician was great to work with and very trustworthy, the only person to not complain about the short crawl space clearance and get the job done. Thanks to Randy, his family and our technician Kyle for supplying a quality product (Trane!) and impeccable service.
Our experience with Baer Heating and Cooling was nothing less than great from beginning to end. We had Baer replace an old and failing AC unit. When Randy came to the house he listened first, answered questions, and made recommendations. The Ameren rebates were explained in detail. The sizing of the unit and efficiency ratings were explained in detail. Our quote was more than competitive. On install day, Kyle was on time and professional. He got to work and did not mind me hanging out and asking questions. The installation experience was nothing less than professional. I will not hesitate to call Baer for any future HVAC needs.
I am not one to usually give bad reviews like this but last weekend I felt like I was taken advantage of by a Clinton County heating & cooling company, Baer Heating & Cooling out of Trenton. I called them last weekend to fix some pipes in our old house where the seal had broken. Two separate pipes, one main gas line seal and one seal by the hot water heater. When I called, I asked what a service fee costs and explained what was wrong, per instructions from Ameren. Randy Baer responded it’s $95/hour service fee and parts. Great, there were no other charges mentioned. Kyle called at 12:40 and said he was on his way he would be there around 1. At 1:15 Kyle arrived and I explained what was wrong, then he got started. At 3:30 he called me to say he was finished and everything was set up. The bill was $392, he gave me his mothers info so I could pay her and get an invoice. I paid her but she did not have an invoice ready yet. This was my first mistake, I never should have paid her without an invoice. When I received an invoice later that day, it did not break down where the charges all came from. It only stated what he did. I proceeded to call her and ask for a breakdown, explained that with the time that he was actually there the charges didn’t make sense. She responded that she would need to contact Kyle and figure out the differences then she would get back to me. She emailed back with a breakdown that hours he was there was 3.5. Which I had already explained to her wasn’t correct. 25$ in gas to get to my house, the house is in trenton and the business is in trenton. That math doesn’t add up, also I was never told there would be a transportation fee. Then also the parts, which was the only part of the invoice breakdown that had a reasonable price tag. I responded explaining that I didn’t understand why I was charged 3.5 hours when he was only there for 2 hours and 15 min. Baer Heating serviced our existing system and recently replaced it with a brand new Trane System. This is a family owned company. First - they know what they are doing; Second Randy explained to me how he evaluated our home and recommended the proper equipment. I watched their employees (Kyle and Kyle) do the install. They did not rush -- they took their time and removed the old units and installed the new units with competence and pride. After they were done removing the old and installing the new --- they cleaned up. Very professional in every way. The new system works great and I am amazed by the smart thermostat technology. We recently needed to replace our entire HVAC system in our house. I contacted several companies to come out and give us a bid. By far, Baer Heating and Cooling (Randy) gave us the most comprehensive estimate and explained our different options for a new Trane system. Like most folks, we looked up reviews, as well as our initial experience and chose them for the job. We couldn't have made a better choice! Kyle and Addy did excellent work over the multiple days of re-engineering and installing our new system. The installation is better than we could have hoped for and well worth the expense. If you are looking for HVAC services, go with Baer. Great people, great value, and overall workmanship out of this world!

Have called Baer heating & cooling for a/c & heating repair for last 3 yrs. for seasonal maintenance & repair. They are an honest, family owned business and their charges are reasonable. Kyle Baer & Kyle recently installed a new Trane a/c & heating system & I couldn’t be happier with their service & professionalism. They are the BEST!!!
