When a contractor tore a 3 ft. line in my underground loop system in my Geothermal System, Design Air sent out technicians that PROPERLY fixed the loop and refilled the system with the proper liquids required.The 3 technicians were very professional and courteous during the day they spent here. I would highly recommend Design Air ...A+ service...👍

Things were pretty bad with my unit. It started on a Thursday and didn't get fixed until the following Tuesday. However it wasn't because they didn't try to get it running. Several parts had to be replace as they got into it to find the problem. There were several problems. The first person worked hard and got to several things but it still wasn't working. Then they sent out their most experience person and he found the last issues and got them fixed. It was a long 5/6 days in high heat. But there were 3-4 issues and they got it ALL fixed. They did a very good job and were courteous to work with. I think I had an unusual difficult situation. My unit was under warranty so parts were covered and I think they were fair on the charges for labor. I would give them 4 1/2 out of 5 stars.

I called 9/23/21 made an appointment for 9/28/21 @ 10 am to get estimate to run new ductwork. At around 2 to 3 pm I called company as no one showed up. Guy came out did estimate. I stressed how important this was to get job done. 9/29/21 received email with estimate. I sent reply back asking questions. No response. 10/4/21 sent another email, no response. Called company to discuss estimate. Guy verified that he received my email with signed contract. He stated he would have Josh call me. 10/4/21 no call back, 10/5/21 still no call back. 10/7/21 I called company back talked to Tina about not getting any calls back. She would let them know to call me. 10/12/21 I once again called company. Told Tina I have not received any return calls an if they are so busy an cannot do the job to let me know. She stated once again she would let them know. 10/13/21 still no return call. I am not impressed with this company an I do not recommend doing business with them. So now I am left scrambling trying to find another company to do the job after wasting over 2 weeks on Design Air.

Called design air when AC unit wasn’t working at 6:00 pm (after hours). The owner called back about 40 minutes later and came to our house to fix the issue by 9:30pm. Great, professional service. Highly Recommend!

Service tech. Was 5 star.... Service call time for service minus 5 stars. As usual 1st call canceled by design air, after a week finally came. They never seem to have enough techs for 1st time normal service calls.

3 stars as when they do a job (Cory M.) they do it right. Very courteous and professional. With that being said: I called today to ask about an appointment but had an (important to me) request; since the tech would need to enter my house I asked if I could have someone who has received a Covid vaccine. Our reasons are our own and I'm not going to weigh in on my feelings in this matter. The woman on the phone was very polite and told me she would check with the owner and get back to me. She did so within a few minutes, again very polite and respectful, but told me it was company policy not ask about vaccination so that they were in compliance with the law. I will not argue this point but, what I will say is that I cannot do business with Design Air currently and I felt the reason why was worth sharing if anyone is concerned about this topic for their household.

I live in Moweaqua and was charged a travel fee of one hour each way at a rate of $80 an hour (per tech). The tech that was sent was unsure of his work so they sent another tech out to help, again another travel fee was charged. So in total I had 3 repair techs at my home (Randy, Curtis & Cory) to replace compressor & coil for a over a $3200 repair charge. I will be using other HVAC companies in the future.

They will send out a technician to work on A/C unit. And the very next day they send out a Different technician. With out any communication on anything. So it cost us more money on labor time.
