We called for a routine furnace inspection. That was done as promised. I mentioned that I was struggling with the small numbers on my thermostat. My tech, Ahmed contacted his office and explained my situation. Maria in the office verified my Nicor protection plan and 2 days later I had a new easy to read thermostat. I would recommend George and Sons in Darien for their professionalism and their response to customer needs. As an added bonus, there is no automated phone queue, you speak to a real person who knows the business and is friendly!

George and Son's HVAC was recommended to me and I could not be happier with their service! Everything was done very professionally- timing, quality, pricing. I was having a 40 year old system replaced, so much of the work became custom. I was so impressed with the technicians and how this was completed in a timely manner for the amount of work that was done. This job was done over the summer and four months later everything is great. I would recommend to anyone!
George & Sons HVAC’s workers, Dennis and Leo, were very professional! They were on time, put booties on their shoes, found and fixed the problem with a smile. They didn’t try to sell me on anything. I highly recommend this terrific company!
My husband and I have been loyal customers for 20+ years. We first dealt with George Sr and he helped us with our first furnace purchase. We used them for all our cleaning and maintenance. Then we used them again to get a new furnace when we had flooding in our basement and then again to get an air conditioner. This past Friday as I do every year I had them come out to clean and check our furnace before we turn it on. I was told by the technician that I had a crack in the heat exchanger and there was extreme flame rollout so the furnace needed to be replaced. The way he showed me this was with pictures on his phone and not the furnace itself. When I said I was surprised because I didn’t feel it was that old, he said it was 16 years old. It’s actually 13 years old. Then I got a call from George giving me a quote for the work they were going to do which included changing out all the duct work. Normally I would trust them since we’ve used them for years, but something didn’t seem right. Since our furnace was only 13 years old it seemed like it was too soon to be replacing it. I then scheduled other estimates to be sure before I agree to spend. I was told by three other companies that I did not need a heat exchanger and I was also told that even if I did, the heat exchanger had a twenty year warranty. The last guy that came out actually took the time to explain how the heat exchanger worked and we both looked at the flame to see that there was no extreme flame roll out. He also showed me the safety sensors that the newer furnaces are equipped with. I am VERY disappointed in George and Sons.

We got our AC unit installed as well as new ducts through George and Son’s. Everyone was very professional and thorough with their work. I highly recommend George and Son’s if you need to replace any HVAC system.

Had a compressor replaced through George and Sons and was very pleased about the service and the cost. A new thermostat was installed quickly as well. Air conditioning was so cold I could of sworn I saw flurries yesterday.

I am the owner of a 2000 sq ft 2-story townhome, which was built on a slab over 50 years ago. George and Sons replaced my entire heating and cooling system in the attic, including an all-new cold air plenum. As part of the upgrade, I had a new thermostat, humidifier, electronic air filter, and air cleaner installed. Finally, the team also mounted a new gas heater in a detached garage which required exhaust venting through the roof. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the results. From my first interactions with George during the bidding process, it was clear he has a passion for HVAC systems. He spent over an hour with us discussing our needs and then provided a detailed quote including several straight-forward options that we could choose from. While George and Sons wasn’t the cheapest of the 5 bids we received, it was definitely the most comprehensive (including post-installation duct cleaning), organized, and realistic of the proposals we evaluated. The demolition, installation, and testing of the system went very smoothly. The team was friendly, clean, professional, and timely in everything they did. Notably, almost all the work was performed in very confined spaces accessed via attic ladders. I’d highly recommend George and Sons for quality work from start to finish.
