Zach from the Countryside, IL office did a great job inspecting my a/c and replacing a part. It's a tough job and he was a pro as well as a very nice young man. Kudos to Zach!

I had been a Heat Engineering customer since 1983 (close to 40 years) and decided to try someone new. What a big mistake that was. I used a nationwide service to perform the winter/furnace maintenance who spent very little time on the maintenance and more time trying sell a new furnace to replace my 10 year old system. If not fully replaced, at minimum to replace the blower motor at a cost of $2400 (the normal cost is around $500, and there was nothing wrong with the motor). With all that said I'm back with Heat Engineering for all my future needs.
Heat Engineering installed a furnace and air conditioner for us. Everyone we worked with was very professional, courteous, and responsive. The price was competitive with other companies. They encountered a unique issue with the installation of the furnace in our older home, and Bryan and his team worked tirelessly, professionally, and with great communication until the issue was resolved to everyone's satisfaction. We highly recommend Heat Engineering.
Been using Heat Engineering since 1989 and have found them to be consistently competent in the quality of service they provide. You never have to wonder if they "do the job right." The first time I used them was for a minor service issue when my townhouse was new. Since then, I've used them every year for the A/C check-up in the Spring and the furnace check-up in the Fall. About nine years ago, I upgraded my A/C and furnace and Heat Engineering did the installation. I was again, very satisfied with the quality of work performed. I would not hesitate to recommend Heat Engineering for HVAC installation and service.

Replace a malfunction water heater. They did a great job installing the new water heater and hauling away the old one.
We’ve been using Heat Engineering for over 40 years for annual maintenance and the installation of 2 furnace/air conditioning systems, so I first offer this as a testament to our complete satisfaction. The purpose of this response relates to our recent experience. On arising in the morning we found that our furnace had stopped working (this is in the middle of January in the Chicago area). We called Heat Engineering and in 25 minutes Dan was at our door. He found that our problem was a dust blocked air filter. I make it a habit to change my filters monthly, but failed to do so over the holidays. Also, we recently added 2 room hydrostatic humidifiers which apparently was the cause of the blockage as they emit solid particles along with the moisture (we discontinued using them). I less than 45 minutes we back up and running after Dan cleaned and checked the system, no need for replacement parts and just a routine service charge.
