If you are in need of A/C or Heating service repair or replacement, American Heating and Cooling Specialists is your VERY BEST OPTION to choose. The service, responsiveness, and professionalism is outstanding. I was able to get a lot of detailed feedback over the phone about issue with my unit. Scheduling appointment was extremely easy, they gave me a same day appointment. They arrived 30 minutes early from scheduled time, and work was completed fast and accurate. They followed up to make sure unit was working properly. Great service all around!! We will definitely be calling Dave for all our future HVAC needs.
Our air conditioner broke and we called on Thursday and Dave came out on Friday morning. Dave was super nice and professional. Great price as well. Thank you.
Our house got down to 60 degrees but it's so cold out I expected to have to wait a bit to get someone out. Instead, I called at 11 am, he showed up before 12, and our furnace blower motor was replaced by 2 pm! Very happy with quick and reasonable service.
Dave was very knowledgeable and honest. I just got my new humidifier installed today and he did a wonderful job at a reasonable price! Would definitely hire him again for my next job!

I had an AC unit issue a year ago. Dave dropped by and was able to troubleshoot the problem right away. The repair cost was fair (and free estimate). So when it was time to replace the house furnace, American Heating and Cooling Specialists was included in the quotes list. In the end, it was a combination of - service, reliability and reasonableness in pricing, which resulted in AHCS being selected. Work was done with least amount of intrusion. There was no upselling of services which we didn't need. Learned about the products available including potential supply chain impact due to COVID-19, which was interesting. Dave took time to explain the unit maintenance and warranty available. Very happy with the work done by Dave. Highly recommend to family members and friends when they are ready to replace their furnace or if issue with AC.

Excellent service at a very reasonable price. Dave arrived quickly and fixed our problem the same way-very thorough too. He also made sure to have a mask on when checking our furnace, which everyone at home appreciated. I highly recommend giving him a call, especially during this hot summer in the Chicagoland area!
Came out quickly on a sweltering Sunday afternoon. Our AC unit is 16 years old, so I was mentally prepared to be told it needed to be replaced. Instead, Dave fixed it quickly and relatively inexpensively. We would definitely call American Heating and Cooling again.
Such a great company!!! Our a/c went out at 91 degree weather and I called american heating and cooling and the owner came out to our home within 20 minutes to fix our problem!!! David is an awesome owner I would highly recommend you contacting them... they also where at a great price!!!
The owner Dave is a man of his word, and extremely knowledgeable in his field. He provided top class service on our AC unit. Dave took the time to answer all my questions, and explain options for fixing our AC unit. I would use American Heating and Cooling Specialists again, and recommend to my friends.
Dave answered my call after 10 pm and was out by 9 the next morning and after searching for a new unit he replaced my old a/c unit by noon on Saturday the 4th of July. The pricing didn't change and he made sure I was totally happy with the job before he took payment. Honest, professional and a nice guy. Would never call anyone else .

We had a problem with ac not cooling enough and Dave came in with short notice and fixed the refrigerant pretty quick. Gave suggestions and recommendations. Dave is the guy to go to👍. Very reasonable price and very professional.
David’s company is great, I called on a Saturday with AC problem and was over within the hour got my ac temporary fixed till he could come back on tues with a new motor and was in and out rather quickly and had me completely fixed up in no time. Will definitely call again should the need arise!!!

Our heat unexpectedly went out today. We called American Heating and Cooling and they arrived within an hour and solved the problem. They were professional and very knowledgeable of the business without trying to up sell. Prices were very reasonable and I’m extremely pleased with my overall service.
Super fast, super nice, super knowledgeable. Simple and transparent pricing. Identified the problem within 5 minutes and within half an hour my heater's working again. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. There are a lot of incompetent contractors out there so I'm grateful that so many other google reviewers helped me find this guy right away. I'm happy to add my voice to the chorus. I'm relieved to know I've got a guy I can trust the next time anything goes wrong with my HVAC system.
