Doug was very responsive and communicated really well during the entire process of installation of our HVAC system (new build). We would use D&A Heating in the future!
These guys did an outstanding jod. We had a very specific need to add a ductless heating and cooling system to our place. He understood our needs and gave us a few options and explained in great detail the benefits and features of each option. The system he installed was installed timely and on budget. I would highly recommend them to anyone with any HVAC needs.
I paid this guy $4,000 3 years ago to install a new air conditioner and heater and now I just had to pay $800 to fix their conditioner because the installation was bad. Recommend you call someone else for any help with heating or air conditioning cuz this guy does not know what he's doing.
Doug showed up almost 4 hours late for my 8am appointment, I called 2x to check in to see if he was still coming but was told he got “caught up” on another job. There was no apology or explanation for the tardiness upon arrival (around 12pm), then I was told a part had to be ordered for my AC unit. He then proceeded to tell me “They will call you” and left quickly. I understand there is no definite time frame when ordering parts, but even a guesstimate would have been nice. Seemed like a nice enough guy, but possibly overwhelmed with many jobs given the time of year. Would not recommend, very disappointed in the lack of communication and caring overall. I will be sitting at home in 100° weather this weekend with no AC, so that will be fun. Updated 6/18/2020: D&A came back the next business day (Monday), within the designated time window, and fixed the issue quickly! They did a great job.
Doug was great to work with. I have a custom cabinet shop, so there were some logistics probably outside the norm. Doug was able to honestly answer all my questions, and give helpful suggestions in order to get us the best product for our needs. He did what he said, in the time frame, and for the price that he said he would. I will be using D & A for all of my HVAC needs.
Very Helpful ! I called in mid November to get help installing a pellet stove. They took time out of their busy day to return my phone call and even made a quick service call to answer all my questions. Will use again!!
D & A have serviced our heater, water heater, AC unit, ran a new gas line for our dryer and plumbed a new dryer vent. They can do it all. When we were selling our house they checked out our heating unit and when the buyers inspector said the unit needed service they came back out for free and proved that it didn't need serviced. Thanks D&A!
Doug did a thorough job fixing our heater. He explained what the part he replaced does as well and he had no problem having overwatch his work. I highly recommend all potential customers to put their trust in D&A Heating & Cooling, you will not be disappointed

Had some nasty, filthy dirty venting that desperately needed to be cleaned, and a tricky installation in our dining room. All was done expertly and efficiently, and on our schedule. We were out of town and had a narrow window of time in which they could do the work. Very satisfied, and the price was reasonable. I'd use them again! Very personable, too.
I had D and A out to my home on 2 occasions and both times they were fast to respond and finished the work quickly. I will be calling them for a complete system replacement soon.
Doug has great knowledge in his field of expertise. His prices are fair for the quality of service and the product he installed. I really appreciate how efficient he worked to get us up and going. His Tech James was very nice and even moved things for us that we couldn't lift. I will definitely recommend them to anyone!
From personal experience, I have had great service from D&A heating and cooling. It is a prompt company. The service guys have great personalities. I would highly recommend this company!!
