Beware, they apparently removed my bad review. Worked on my furnace he stood and dropped his tools on my beautiful hardwood floors and damaged them. He didn't put down a protective rug or anything. left glue all over my wall and exterior door. Their insurance refused to repair my floor because I had no "proof" to show them he created the damage. The fact I heard and saw him drop his tools on my floor was not proof enough. He also tossed his clipboard upon entry onto my side table and scratched it. Unbelievable!
Patrick is awesome! He always has the fix. I've used him for repairs and new installs and he always does it right.
These guys are great. AND we trust them to be honest & up front with us. We have called them in a pinch more than once regarding different issues. Great response time, every time.

I have been working with keto since around 2002, and they used to present themselves as an honest company. I've had them out to my house to fix and replace things in the past and had no qualms with the service. But apparently something has changed. To replace a $30 to $65 part, which took 30 minutes from the time my doorbell was rang to the time I paid my bill, I was charged $407.34. That's $600 an hour, with a generous markup. BUYER BEWARE!
They've always been a budget friendly, reliable company to work with. They do what needs to be done and not try to sell you something you don't need. I've used them both for personal and investment property work.
We called Keto Heating and Cooling because our air conditioner was not blowing cold air, and it didn't seem that our thermostat was properly working. Keto was great to come the same day to help, and upon arrival of their service tech he completed an evaluation of our system and said that everything was working and looking find, and that he would do a furnace servicing as well because we were due for one. Nearly two months later it is finally time to turn our AC back on, and it continues to blow hot air. Upon calling Keto, they were uneager to help us over the phone and stated that they would merely fit us in as they could. Unexpectedly, they came the same day that we called. The same service tech came back, was extremely unfriendly, and difficult to communicate with. He barely said two words upon arrival and worked briskly with our system without any explanation or conversation of the problem. He finished quickly, stating that we were out of refrigerant, and that he would email the bill. When prompting him as to why this issue wasn't fixed the first time we called he couldn't confirm any details other than what he had written on our service tag, which was a furnace servicing. Overall, they were prompt to arrive which we are grateful for, but their communication and professionalism was nothing to be proud of.
Called and left message inquiring about a warranty transfer on parts and labor. No call back. Called three times over the last three years. Found they didn’t replace the transition when they installed a new furnace and ac in a house I bought. They installed a smaller furnace, a “b” vent, and the ac. They set it up without a booster fan so the room with the vent should have had three times the volume provided or install a mini-split. Not sure where they learned to calculate this but google had an answer.
We called Keto Heating and Cooling to get a second opinion. Our upstairs air conditioning wasn’t working. The first company diagnosed an expensive fix that didn’t set right with us. Keto came out the same day, and diagnosed a totally different issue. Our bill was 10% of what it would have been if we’d trusted the first service provider. The best part of all - we learned that Keto is a family run business in Idaho (at least 3rd generation) and the technician was female! How often do you get a female HVAC tech? She knows her stuff. We will call Keto again and again.
Can I just tell you how amazing KETO is? They came out quick for a new HVAC quote and is totally reasonable for great equipment. I also had them stub a gas line in for my fire table on my patio. Had just bought it and was propane, was going through 2-3 tanks a week at $15 a tank... insane, and totally inconvenient. The fire table company did not make a natural gas conversion kit so was told I had to get a different table ($1,200) and had just said I don’t care, it’s worth it at this point. Keto stubbed the gas line AND converted my table from propane to natural gas for $650! Less than anything I was expecting. Customer service and techs were on point, follow through was great. Came out on Tuesday morning and after several trips to hardware store to figure out the conversion they finished yesterday afternoon. Install looks amazing and no more propane tanks. Couldn’t be happier. Next is HVAC and will have them install in the next couple weeks.
Outstanding service. Our AC went out on a 100 degree day. We got a quote at 2 and had cold air by 6. Cant reccomend these guys enough!
I needed the gas line hose behind my stove adjusted, so my stove slid in flush to the wall. The service was better than excellent! Patrick not only made sure the line was adjusted safely, he went above and beyond—he made sure the stove was level and that the feet were high enough that the stove was even with the countertops. This is something the stove installer should have taken into account, so I appreciate that Patrick did this. Let me say, getting the stove to slide in up to the wall after the adjustment also took several tries due to the gas line kinking up. He wanted it done right, though, and kept working at it until it was perfect. I've used Keto for years for heating and air, too, and have always found their service exceptional. I highly recommend them.
I hired Keto to install a gas line for a range. Not only did I get a reasonable quote for the work, but their technicians showed up when scheduled, were super friendly and were accommodating of my request to run the line through the floor joists. I will totally contact them again for my next HVAC project.
We came home from a camping trip to find out our 30 yr old air conditioner/heat pump had died. We called Keto on a recommendation and they not only squeezed us into a very busy schedule, they gave us an excellent price on a new air conditioner and figured out how to fit the larger cooling element into our existing furnace, which saved considerable money. Great people who really care!
Fast friendly and fair prices. They have worked on our home heating and cooling systems for years and have done consistently great work.
Very horrible company to deal with. Horrible work and business ethics. Do your research before you decide to go with these guys. A simple observation of their horribly kept work vehicles and demeanor will tell the story.

Keto is amazing! Our AC broke on a week of 100+ temps. They were able to repair our 50+ year old unit rather than replacing it. They were here less than an hour after they opened for the day, even though the appointment they made with us was for 3pm. It was fixed by 10:30 AM. Simply magical. We will call them again in a heartbeat!
Patrick is great and did a wonderful job installing a heat pump in my garage. I loved his professionalism so much, I got on the scheduled service plan for our house and my parents house.
