Greg was very friendly and helpful. He answered all of my questions and even showed me on my furnace what we were talking about. He was kind and gentle with my elderly mom and great with my dogs. All in all it was a great experience in a not so great situation.
I have been using A-1 Heating and Cooling for over 20 years. They have always delivered excellent service. The technician who performed this service call, was very friendly and courteous, arrived exactly on time and did a good job. We are very satisfied.
The fan in our AC unit went out right ahead of a very hot streak of days. A1 responded quickly to our call and sent a technician right out who was able to replace the fan in the same trip. Very glad everything worked out and we were back with cool air quickly.
My almost 20 year old AC finally died and A1 (Tom) came out promptly the next day and went over all of the options with me, along with recommending the proper gear to satisfy my needs without going overboard. He offered portable air conditioners if I needed them before the new AC and furnace install and put me on the fast track for install as my system was no longer working. Furthermore, they were able to perform the install the following week and even bumped us up a day as they had a late minute opening. Chris and his partner (sorry, can't recall his name) showed up early on the day of install and completed everything in a very professional manner and the final product reflected quality and attention to detail. He went over the operation and maintenance with me and made sure my questions were answered. Tom also showed up during the install to make sure everything was going well and touched base with me regarding any questions/concerns I might have had. Outstanding service by the Team. There wasn't a single hiccup in the process and I will definitely recommend A1 to friends and family in the future! My house is no longer a "meat locker" downstairs and a "sauna" upstairs, and I can't express enough how well this gear works! I couldn't be more pleased! Regards, Jeff Heuett
Appreciate the call before service arrival and check in after. However, would be nice to get a smaller window of arrival.
Saleman came out same day i called them! Very friendly and knowledgeable. Gave me quotes I wanted and explained everything so i could understand. Matt was awesome! Installers were also awesome. Kenny and Levi answered all questions and explained everything about the new system. It was good to see people that enjoyed their job and was good at it as well.
We ordered the heating system thru Costco and A-1 contacted me right away after I submitted the order they Costco. They sent someone right away and installed the machine within 4 days. We will work with them again for sure, highly recommended.
Mattie and Patrick were courteous, organized and neat. I appreciated their cleaning up after the installation. I also appreciated Mattie communicating where they were in the installation process.

I called to request service on my A/C. It was 80deg inside my house and the thermostat was set at 68! The gentleman from the service team told me that I could get someone out that afternoon and it would be $99 for the trip & diagnosis. OOORRRRR..................since I had already purchased the Pre-Paid Maintenance Package, I could have someone come out tomorrow to do the regular tune-up for free! Guess what I did. A company that will TELL you about cost saving options is a trustworthy company!! A-1 H & C is a great value and even greater service!!!
The technician gave me advance call indicating his ETA was 30 minutes which was helpful and he was very professional.
Kelly the sales man was super helpful and very knowledgeable and the team that install it was super professional and did an awesome job.
ROSS AND MIKE! ROSS AND MIKE! These guys are the best! On time, knowledgeable, professional, friendly AND made the repairs in our attic in the same room as my sleeping infant granddaughter. They were so quiet and quick (like ninjas) that they were in, made the repairs, and were out and she didn't even stir! Great company with great employees!
We had an air conditioner that was completely unresponsive. We tried everything but only the furnace fan would kick on which is completely useless against 80 degree nights - we were dying and it’s not even July!!! Fear not A-1 sent Greg Fry their number one guy over. He figured out in about 10 seconds the capacitor was shot on the unit, and had it replaced and blowing 45 degree air in less than five minutes. He could have just left right then, but in Greg’s form he made sure everything was dialed before rolling off into the Boise sunset… We changed the air filter, and he showed us how the wall unit works and left with a big smile. Give that guy a raise he is the walking embodiment of friendly customer service. I’m now not sitting shirtless on my couch sweating wondering why I chose to live here.
Scheduled weeks ago for an A/C service for today(6/5/23). We confirmed our appointment on 6/2/23. We received a phone call this morning that they couldn't get to us because they had "bigger jobs" to do today. We paid to be on their service plan a year or 2 ago. I usually don't leave any kind of revues for companies. Sorry Rant Over
Matt came out to service our “pump and dump”. He improved the efficiency by a lot! Goes to show i made a wise choice by switching from Western to A-1!! Matt has very good customer service as well. He explaind what he found and what he did👍 He signed us up for the MVP program. The price was so much better than the other company that the previous owner was using and we almost stayed with! We are so lucky to find A-1!!
We have an MVP service contract through A1. Travis came out to tune-up our air conditioner and I couldn't be more happy with his service.He tested the system, replaced our filter, checked our coolant level, and replaced the capacitor on our outside unit. I couldn't be more happy with the work Travis provided. Thank you for taking care of us!
Our AC was being very loud. Zach came out and found our filter was very clogged as we hadn't had is serviced in awhile. He did a full service on it and it was running good. A couple of weeks later it was being loud again, so Greg came out. It turns out this time that just some bolts on the fan cover were loose. Greg took care of that real quick with no charge and the AC is back to being quiet and is running good. These guys were great and I am very happy with the service.
Our Service Experience was A+, Greg came out thoroughly looked through our system and filled the coolant. Everything works perfect, we will definitely request him for all of our HVAC Needs.
We've been using A-1 Heating & Air for a few years now, and I couldn't recommend them and their technicians highly enough. We have an old A/C and are always running into issues here and there. Their technicians are serious troubleshooters and they enjoy their jobs. Their administrative staff are friendly and provide ETA updates. Prices are fair, and I know by the end of a service call, the technician did everything they could to save us money.
