Pat is the man! He is very upfront and stays to his word. I needed special parts and he had them readily available! Wow fast service indeed. Would totally recommend.

They constantly cancel on you. You take the day off of work and then they call you a couple hours prior to say they can no longer make it. They don't have parts on hand, nor at the store, so things have to be ordered, which delay repair. As a business owner myself, I ALWAYS have common components that break and go bad on hand. I understand it cost more to operate that way, but it's also how you maintain a 5 star business. With the unprofessional scheduling issues, the huge show time windows, the lack of communication, and parts on hand I rate them with 1 star. There's too many other options out there that do better.

Horrible customer service, they don't value your time. My ac broke in my unit late May and I let my property manager (pm) know in June. Two weeks (June 15) passed and I asked my pm for an update. She told me I should have been contacted by Purair because she put in a work order on June 6. She said she'll follow up. Purair calls the next morning and apologized for the late response (misplaced paper work or something) and scheduled a visit that afternoon...cool. They arrived and told be they couldn't fix it because they didn't have a specific part on hand (understandable) and they'll be back the next day around the same time. Stayed home the next day waiting,. They didn't show. I assumed maybe they didn't have the part at home base also. At least give me a call so I don't wate a day waiting. Fast forward to June 27 and I get a call from them basically saying paperwork was misplaced.... AGAIN....thus the delay and asked when will be the best time to come over. Made a schedule for NEXT day around noon. Today I waited until 330pm. I gave them a call and asked if they were still coming. They tell me I'm scheduled for tomorrow. I'm POSITIVE I was scheduled for today. I'll be surprised if they do show tomorrow, maybe paperwork again. It's been 22 days since my pm first contacted them. UPDATE: They did come today and everything is working fine. I can't comment on the price because my property manager takes care of that. My original review was one star but I changed it to three stars, I would have given two and a half if I could. They did fix my ac eventually and the person on the phone and the repair person was friendly. I just didn't appreciate wasting 2 days waiting for them for them to not even show. Now that I had some time to mull things over, I felt maybe one star is too harsh.

ZERO stars because I am stuck with this firm. I hired this company after several conversations and looking at multiple offers. The person I spoke with was so nice! Unfortunately, the value turned out to be hot garbage. When they came to do the installation, the key was not in the box so they couldn't do the work. This was something I was completely unaware of and ended up having to fire that contractor and change the locks for my safety. I would have no reason to believe the keys were not available when Purair arrived. However, the fee they charged was BEYOND ridiculous: more than $700. I have NEVER felt so taken advantage of in my life. I had already paid the deposit of >$3000, so I was stuck. HORRIBLE. I am in customer service, and such fees should not be punitive. This makes the customer feel as if they are just a patsy, a sponge from whom to squeeze money. $700 is entirely too much. As a SURGEON, I only charge $250 for a no show fee. My hospital takes the loss when a patient does not show, and still has to pay its nurses, operating room staff, etc. That's the cost of doing business when you actually CARE for people. I understand that there may be a fee, but $700 is reprehensible. Their complete lack of understanding with regard to what people are going through is incomprehensible. And may I reiterate: AVOID with all your might!!

They showed up and did half the job but didn’t charge for the other services. Decided to up the fee when contacted and loves to over charge customers. Quality of service is very poor. Left the cover half screwed down and the chill water unit was blowing into the closet and not the vents. Also left a valve half open and the unit blows hot air now. The vent to the other room was taped up and blocked. Really sloppy and didn’t care on the work done in my unit. Won’t use their service again. also had an issue with the flood stop unit beeping. Had to unplug it for it to reset and worked again. Kept bouncing back and forth to open or closed and didn’t know to push open so the valve was shut and hot air blew since they didn’t leave a manual. Not like PurAir was any eager to come out. Won’t answer my email either. Horrible that a company can’t even take ownership. At the prices they charge use Johnson Controls or another local HVAC company. Who tapes a vent closed just look at the photo and doesn’t remember to take it off. Had a service call from another vendor and fixed everything quickly.

Pur Air worked with me to schedule the service during a short break in tenants which made cleaning the ducts much easier in an empty unit. The only suggestion is verbally informing customers about the 3% service fee for credit card charges.

Michael and his crew did a great job trying to resolve the water cooled air conditioning unit and even did a temporary patch for the blower assembly and did not charge any additional funds.

Awesome Customer service ! I own a rental unit and the building board of directors had PurAir do a all building inspection. The AC was rusted and need all types of repairs. The estimate was sent over by Kenny (I think GM) was a lot more than I wanted to pay but...I had to bite the bullet and have it done. Fast forward to Today. The repairs were done and I received a Voice message from Kenny..."We pulled the top coil and the rust didn't look as bad as we thought, so we didnt need to change that out...so we are sending a refund for that portion of the job we didnt have to do" I called Kenny back right away and Thanked him for running an honest business. Not sure how long he's been with them but PurAir Hawaii is Lucky to have a good person on their staff...also I wanted to point out..it's 6:15pm on a Friday..he picked up the phone..that's another added star..if I could give one more star for extra credit I would. Super Big Mahalo Kenny and PurAir guys that did the work! David

I am utterly disappointed in the service I received from PurAir Hawai’i. Two saturdays ago, an estimator was supposed to come to my house. Not only did he not show up, it’s been a whole week and no one bothered to call to apologize or follow up with the service I needed. Must be nice to have so much business that you can treat potential customers this way. Kudos to the owner.
