I used Carter & Sons for over 15 years (I'm in an apartment now). They were reasonable/fairly priced, honest, reliable, went beyond the usual requirements. For example, one of their young technicians came out one day to service our units, and reported back (unsolicited) that the compressors in our house had been erroneously swapped by the builder. The large compressor went to the much smaller upstairs area, whereas the smaller compressor was hooked up to the downstairs (much larger) area. That explained why we could never seem to get the house cool enough. Other HVAC people would come out and say that everything was working fine, that there was no problem with any of the units. Of course, we did have to pay to have the units swapped, but that was to be expected. I can't say enough good about Carter & Sons.

Absolutely excellent job from Carter and Sons. Had a full installation of a heat pump system. The attention to detail is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable compared to other companies in the area. Will absolutely be doing business with Carter and Sons again in the future.

I reached out (on a whim) to Carter and Sons HVAC when my AC unit was on the fritz. All the reviews were super positive for this company and boy did they live up to the hype. They did a thorough diagnostic on my AC unit and made some simple tweaks to improve the performance. Also, I live in a small condo and the air vent blower is extremely loud. They offered a solution to install duct board inside the vent, which drastically reduced the sound (at an affordable cost). If you have HVAC needs and want a reliable & knowledgeable company, then I can't recommend Carter and Sons enough!

13 months ago, I had Carter and Sons HVAC replace my aging systems. Since then, they have performed two semi-annual maintenances. Every time, they communicate well, usually arrive early, are polite, cleanup after themselves and do a fantastic job. It is so nice to have a team do all the things so well from evaluation, to replacement and repair and tune-ups. The system we chose saves us a good 15-20% from previous system, and temps in the house do not vary more than a degree.....heck usually it is dead on temp. I highly recommend this team.
I have used Carter and Sons for years. They are a family-owned business. They are always honest and will never upsell you but give advice. We have used them for maintenance and recently replaced our system and thermostat. I cannot recommend them enough.

Carter and Sons installed a new Carrier system a few years ago. They did a great job at a very competitive price. They have serviced it twice a year since then. This visit was for a preseason tune-up. They were able to schedule for the day after I called. The techs arrived a bit early, did their work efficiently, explained the bill, took my payment and left. So far, everything is working well. We appreciate their good work.

We really appreciated the help David, John, and Ty provided for our family. Each guy was top notch and really made our experience with Carter and Sons fabulous. Our service was preformed during the heat wave this summer. It did take a few days considering the weekend and circumstances of the weather and our machine, but David was able to help our system run so that our home was barrable until parts arrived. We were in constant communication and the options we had on choosing what was best for us was great. We didn't want to feel pressured into buying a whole system, and these guys never made us feel like that. These guys worked so hard in the heat and they all had a smile on their face when greeting them before work, during install, and afterward. David even came by to do a month later checkup to make sure we were all good, which we were. We highly recommend this company for your services! Thank you guys for doing an excellent job!
The A/C on my 85 year old mother's house stopped working. I called, explained the situation, and I had a tech out resolving the issue within a couple of hours. Service and price were excellent. I highly recommend Carter and Sons HVAC.
My AC stopped blowing cold air the night before I was leaving for vacation. My system is 20+ years old so I was worried that I would be told I needed a complete new system. I called Carter and Sons and they sent Ryan Given out to my place while I was at the beach. He texted me updates after diagnostics, got my permission to make the repair, never suggested I get a whole new system, and fixed it, all within a few hours. I got to stay on the beach and came home to a repaired A/C system. Will definitely be using them again in the future.
Carter & Sons is the only company I would trust with our very complicated A/C system! They have been so responsive and amazing with every visit and service. Ryan is fantastic and takes great care to make sure our nearly end of life system keeps cooling!
