Great group of workers
My family has been fortunate to have Smith AC service our HVAC for probably 30 years. The staff has never disappointed and always gone above and beyond in the most stressful of conditions. Summer! Savannah! We are very grateful to Lee and his staff of expert, friendly and professional techs.
My family and I were very impressed with the service provided from Charlie Smith Air Conditioning. We discovered our exterior fan had gone out at 8 pm on a Thursday evening. We were easily able to reach Lee that night and he sent his technician Cody to our house the next morning. Our repair was completed by 0900 AM and they even provided a complimentary cleaning. Very pleased!
Lee, Doug, and Cody with Charlie Smith Air conditioning did an excellent job replacing my 15 year old A/C unit with a new Goodman 2 ton unit and air handler. After receiving my quote (which was very competitive), I was not expecting them to be able to get my replacement for at least a week. They were there the very next day replacing my unit and completed the task in one day. This company is very professional, honest, and will treat you right. Overall A+ experience with this team.
Great people good work what else can you ask for
Lee and his Team did a great job for in Bluffton, SC. It was a big job putting in new ducts, both in the attic and in the crawl space, plus cleaning the existing ducts but they did great work. Lee’s duct redesign helped us get the humidity level over the garage under control without any new equipment! Very glad to have found Lee and look forward to using him again! I would recommend him completely.
I just had my duct system replaced in my attic. Lee came out and performed an inspection and provided an estimate. Due to the size of the job, it was scheduled for 2 days. Lee and his crew arrived a few minutes early that morning and ready for the job. They completely removed all the old duct work and had the new system installed by lunch time on the second day. Everyone was professional and personable .A wonderful experience and excellent results .

I have been involved on several large residential remodeling projects where new HVAC systems were required and Charlie Smith Air Conditioning has performed the work. Lee West and his employees were responsive, knowledgeable, meticulous. All through the project they made a conscious effort to make sure they understood all the requirements of the project. If any unexpected issues came up, they immediately contacted and involved us to assure that the best resolution for everyone was the outcome. So when it was time to replace one of my personal units, there was no question but to call Lee West. You will never be subjected to a sales pitch. They will inform you of all the options, the good, bad and ugly, and then let you make the decision that fits you the best.
A most exceptional company. Mr. West is patient,knowledgeable and professional. He knows his equipment. Will work within a budget. American made products. Explains the whole process. I had a leak in the a/c and he did everything to patch it. We had to replace the system and he was within budget. The crew was quiet and quick. He added repaired ducts, added cut off switches, overflow alarms, new filter grate, moved the outside pad for easier access. The whole experience was with people that were good at their job and cared about the customer. Was a welcome change to the norm.
Lee is extremely knowledgeable about his expertise, provides fair and REASONABLE pricing for his service and his customer service is spot on! Will definitely recommend him and use him for our own services from this point forward.
This man sucks. Literally and figuratively.
They are super quick to respond and super efficient, get right to the source of the problem. Prices don’t break the bank and they are super friendly to boot! Won’t go anywhere else!
These people have been nothing but trouble. They never fixed the problem which they were called out to fix, and then they demanded payment on the spot, even though they did not fix the problem. I feel that they are very dishonest, and cannot be trusted. Please take note that the above "positive" rating was written by an employee of Charles Smith air Conditioning. That shows how honest they are. p. s. they borrowed a flashlight, and never brought it back. watch your valuables.
All work performed was very professional and reasonable. Very polite and responsive, came by the house the same day
