Completely unprofessional and slack business. They seem to already know that their AC units are cheap quality, and then amongst themselves as employees, they leave little notes of spite against their clients. I told the girl on the phone that my unit is less than 5 years old, and she kept interrupting me with her snotty tone of voice as she has clearly heard this complaint dozens of times from customers already. Unbelievable if these other low reviews (with pictures) are true: shoddy work just left hanging and incomplete, as well as spamming everybody's mailbox with flyers and other bumpkin, lazy unprofessionalism. HVAC work is all over the place, a job you get right out of high school. Just take your business elsewhere to one of these other companies with whom Canady has to compete using their tacky, classless marketing strategies and cheap, junky products.
Our AC needs to be replaced after having nothing but problems with it. We originally had another local HVAC company come out to give us a quote. This was a company that was recommended to us by a good friend and that we used a few times for our ongoing AC troubles. The owner of this company came out to quote us for a new system. While he was at our house we asked for a ballpark estimate. He gave us what he said would be “pretty close” to the actual estimates for 3 different units. He then said he would be able to discount those prices if we paid cash. We did not want to pay cash, we wanted to put it on our credit card to get the points. Later that night he emailed us the estimates and they were nowhere close to what he quoted us at our house! The unit we were planning to go with was suddenly about $3,000 MORE than what he quoted us at our house! And this was WITH the cash discount. If we didn’t pay cash the price would go up about another $3,000!! So really the quotes he gave us in person that were supposedly “pretty close” to the actual cost were actually about $6k off! This whole thing really turned me off to that company so I called Canady’s. Right off the bat I was pretty impressed! The woman that answered the phone gave me a ballpark price range right over the phone before they even came out. She sent Kevin the very next morning to come look at our current system and discuss options for a new one. I received a text message as soon as I hung up with her confirming my appointment. Kevin was very prompt and professional. He called when he was on his way. About an hr prior to his arrival I received a text message with his photo. This is the first time any service company has done this and I really appreciated it. It’s always good to know who you are expecting! Kevin was very professional, knowledgeable, and personable. He arrived in a marked Canady’s vehicle wearing a Canady’s shirt. This doesn’t honestly matter a ton to me, but it does show a different level

I STILL USE THEM TO KEEP ALL THREE OF MY UNITS RUNNING RIGHT. I'VE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THEM AND EVERYBODY IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD IS SATISFIED WITH THEIR WORK ABOVE AND BEYOND CALL OF DUTY. LIKE EVERYONE ELSE HERE I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. YOU REALLY GET VALUE HERE AND THE TIME THEY SPEND ON YOUR UNITS MAKING SURE THEY RUN RIGHT IS LIKE NIGHT AND DAY COMPARED TO OTHER COMPANIES OUT THERE. purchased a new unit with Kennedy's about 6 months ago I'm relatively new customer however they're always prompt and professional and give me the best advice I won't mention the other companies use here in Savannah but let's say they claim they were experts. After the maintenance was completed on my two older units several suggestions were made to improve their service and life, I took those suggestions. Everybody should really be looking into this company it is family owned and provides the best service and quality equipment.
The crew of guys - Eddie, Slade, Tim and Hunter came out and did a complete new install of ductwork in the crawl space. They got it all done in one day and were happy to answer all the questions I had. Would recommend Canadys for new ductwork! They did great work!
For over 3 years now, since they first installed my new systems, CANADY'S Heating and Air has been nothing shy of phenomenal. They have an incredible staff beginning with the ladies that answer the phone to the professionals who come in to my home. Making an appointment to fit my crazy schedule is easy. They stay in contact with us and are on time every time. Their technicians keep us informed throughout their time in our home and are courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. Today - Cory even helped us carry in our groceries from Kroger home delivery. I would recommend Canady's to anyone at anytime.
HVAC aspect 5 stars. Plumbing a generous three. I acknowledge my expectations are clouded by the consistent, reasonable, professional long term air service with Canady, years in the making. October plumbing visit left me unsettled. What appeared to be a 'totaled' kitchen faucet and a $700 replacement quote that 'came with 'a one hundred year warranty' may easily be remedied by an O ring that according to Delta fixtures telephone support said that was common & covered under its limited lifetime warranty, promptly forwarding free of charge. Canady estimate included a two handle, arched, simple non-designer faucet with $232 labor charge (suspect more than my primary care physician earns an hour). I would get quotes on needed plumbing work first from other providers. I am sorry Canady.
Donavan was excellent. I had an issue with condensation pump . He was very personable , even with the long day I’m sure he already had! He stayed with it until fixed and not once did I see anything other than a friendly and professional attitude! Everything was clean when they they left. Could only tell they were there because everything worked!
UPDATE 7/26/22 - Well my issue was determined to be with my ductwork and not my New A/C System. So, not Canady's fault. They were very good. ORIGINAL. An “on the high side” HVAC system replacement. (I was told by another friend/customer that they were good), but my reference person is not a technical person, and can pay whatever it costs without comparison estimates. So, just understand that. FYI, I grew up working construction, and I have replaced 3 previous systems in my prior houses. However, this was the most expensive replacement, by far, and more than other online estimates. So, that is my fault. Also, in addition to replacing my old system, Canady’s assured me that my old ductwork was ok, when I specifically asked them about it in the initial estimate inspection. So then, a mistake on my part. I paid cash. Then when my new system didn’t work efficiently, they blamed it on leaks in the same ductwork they told me was “good”. So, as I said, when my new system didn’t cool as well as my previous “22 year old system”, they blamed it on leaking ductwork (again that they originally claimed was ok) and told me I would need to replace my entire ductwork system, for an additional several thousand dollars!!! (Maybe as I paid cash, so I must be able to pay for new ductwork too? No problem?? I don’t know, but it all just seems suspicious to me. How many people with no prior HVAC system replacement experience will just say “ok replace the ductwork too”. Plus, as the original replacement was on the “high side” to begin with, based on my online research. I I thought I was expecting to receive a better quality installation??? But now, I don’t know? Just compare prices before you commit, is all I can say. Don’t be fooled by fancy salesman trucks and a nice website as being a better quality installation. Don’t pay cash either.
My A/C went out of course on a holiday weekend!! I put in a service call at 8 pm Friday evening- Eddie came out right away 1 hr later! My motor was gone, but since it was under warranty a new one would be ordered but not until the following Tuesday & it was in the 90*’s!! Eddie got a different motor from his truck & hooked it up for me to have A/C until my motor got ordered & replaced! He was kind, caring, professional, & friendly! He made a terrible experience a lot better!!
I am not happy with this company and would not recommend purchasing an AC from them. I purchased an AC from them 11 months ago and my AC is out and they will not replace it instead they want to do maintenance and force me to keep an AC that should be replaced. I waited 3 days in this heat which has been in the high 90s and yesterday was 103 with no AC. The technician Chris has been to my house 2 days in a row to repair my AC. The 2nd time Chris was supposed to arrive at 900a.m. I had to call asking where Chris was before he arrived which was a little after 1000. I was informed that my AC coil is out on my AC that isn't a year old yet. I immediately asked for a replacement because I just purchased this AC unit from them and should not be having such major repairs done. They refused to replace the unit but want to repair and while they search for the part to try to replace the coil they have 2 small window units they have place in my house. My house is huge, when I asked for a 3 AC unit I was told they only had 2 and would try to bring me another one on Monday today is Friday btw. I wouldn't recommend purchasing an AC or dealing with them for any of your AC needs. I will probably return the AC unit to them and have another company put an AC unit in my house. This is a lot to go through just to have your house cool for the summer months but I refused to be hot especially since I have major health issues and work from home. AC that works properly is imperative. Choose someone else! After posting this review I was contacted and my AC was replaced. This is the 2nd day and My AC has been working better then the last one they installed. Thank you for solving this problem in a timely manner! For it to be a new AC it isn't cooling properly. Are they sure it's a brand new AC unit!
Exceptional service! Raul and the team were thorough, polite, friendly, and accommodating; my new AC/heating system works perfectly; they cleaned up after the job so I had nothing to do; and they even alerted me to a dangerous gas leak in the crawl space. Raul made sure I knew how the new system works, and double-checked to be sure nothing was forgotten. I give them all two+ thumbs up. Thanks, Guys!
Canady’s is my go-to for any heating/air/plumbing issues I have. From the office staff being so kind and accommodating, to the quality of service provided, I’m never disappointed. Caleb Pollock is the best technician ever! He is always kind, informative and professional. He’ll answer any and all questions I have and is always thorough with his inspections. Canady plumbing team repaired a fireplace gas line. It was repaired so the fireplace can now be used for either log fires or gas log installation which we did not think was possible. The team also competed a plumbing maintenance check. Very happy with their service.
The technicians were excellent. They arrived on time, were very professional, and answered all of my questions (including those of my very precocious 5 year old son who “helped” as their “apprentice” the whole time). Even though no one WANTS to have to spend money getting a new AC unit, Canady’s service and professionalism made the process easy from start to finish!
Overall satisfied with the installation, Zack Bruner and Keith smith thank you for helping when ac went down two days later . Can’t fault there work stuff happens just glad ya kept me in communication even when ya couldn’t get to me . Love the new ac and ducts this house never cooled better .
Kevin came out and did an incredible job. From appearances, my AC unit was working properly. I only had to tell him once that I had occasionally noticed my thermostat not being able to reach my desired temperature. He didn’t doubt me or tell me that everything looked fine. Instead he thoroughly investigated for over an hour until he finally found the undetected source of the problem that every inspector had missed. He showed me what he found, fixed it affordably, and was incredibly polite, friendly, and efficient! I am so grateful and will recommend Canady’s to everyone!
Blake was amazing! He came quickly and was efficient. We had no air on this hot night and he got us taken care of quickly at 10:00 PM. He was professional and polite. This is why we swear by Canady’s! Good company and good people!
