Shipley provided HVAC maintenance to my in laws in Marietta for many years and were reliable, professional, honest and fair. Chris Shipley was responsive, prompt and thorough when we were recently getting quotes for replacing our own HVAC (in Roswell). A very positive experience.
Chris Shipley gave us a great price on 2 HVAC units 8 years ago and continues to stand by them. This week while we were out of town our fan blades got stuck somehow during a storm and resulted in the motor burning out. We came home to an 86 degree upstairs at night. Chris sent out a great technician the next morning. No new motor was available from manufacturer nor several other stores. Chris kept digging and found an identical motor with a different part number, just a different wire configuration. He made it work and got usback up and running within 36 hours, rather than having to wait 6 weeks for the manufacturer to send a part!! True professionalism and dedication to serving his customers. We'll use him always. Thanks, Chris.
Our AC stopped working last night and the temperature outside reached the upper 80's. Called the company that installed the AC units and they weren't available for two weeks. I was referred to Shipley from a neighbor and within two hours of contacting Mike, my AC unit was repaired. It was a quick fix (Capacitor blew) and I was pleasantly surprised at how knowledgable, thorough and professional Mike was. They're a small mom and pop shop and he mentioned they don't do any advertising so I felt it was my duty to do my part to spread the word. I highly recommend Shipley and I've now found my new go-to company for HVAC services.

Quality, professional HVAC service for a great value. Used them twice with phenomenal results both times. They replaced an old unit, putting the new one in a better location and adding new ducts and thermostat when we bought the house several years ago. After working from home for over a year, we decided it was time to do something about the rooms over the garage (built in the 1980s, we did insulate it but it was still too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter.) We understand that home renovations have been highly sought after during the pandemic, but Shipley pulled through! The techs were punctual, completed the job in a couple of hours, were polite, and cleaned up when they were done. We are feeling immediate results in our rooms over the garage and it was completed for a reasonable price!
Called office first thing in the morning and left message that my AC was out on a 90 degree day. Never heard back, so I called back about 5pm and left another message. Tech called back about 10 minutes later with attitude and said the reason I had not heard back was because they were a small business and "didn't sit around the office waiting on phone calls". That they were currently booked out about 2 weeks and I should look elsewhere. My neighbor had recommended them, so I was holding out based on that. Guess I was wrong. Maybe they should look into hiring an office person to manage calls, if its too much for them to handle. Terrible way to run a business. SMH.
Did great job. Got all done in 1 day. Very professional, and really happy with results. Also 16 years ago put old system in and we were so happy with them we never considered anyone else. By the way, system was still working when it was replaced. Highly recommend
I first used Shipley in 2003. They ripped out my old system and put in a new one on a different floor and 30ft away. Their bid was 50% of the big, well-known brands! I've used them ever since. Today, 17 years later, my blower isn't blowing this morning. I expect Shipley will have it working in short order at a great price, like they normally do!
Shipley Heating and Air is the best of the best! From the time they arrived, which was right on time, they work efficiently to install a complete heating and air system. They are friendly and very knowledgeable in their field. I highly recommend them for all your heating and air needs.
Five star rating! Truthful, dependable, honest what more can I say. They had quoted me a price four months prior and after checking around I found them to be very reasonable. When our unit did go out and I needed help they were here within 24 hours with a complete new HVAC unit. They were here by 9 and gone by 2, no surprises or add on’s leaving our house spotless. Highly recommend.

I have used Shipley Heating and Air for my HVAC repairs over the last couple of years. This week, we came to grips with the fact we needed to replace our system. The Team at Shipley did a great job. They were able deliver a new Rheem system and install it within three days. Impressive. All at a very competitive price! Highly recommend Shipley Heating and Air.
