I have been calling their emergency line due to AC going out for second time on a 1 month old house. They will not answer or call back after leaving two messages.

BEWARE: Manager WILL ignore you and won’t return your calls if the job is too “hard” for them. Terrible customer service.

My HVAC was in warranty through Ashtonwood and when I called them to fix the issue, they just took photo of thermostat and did nothing. I called them multiple times but no call back. Very unprofessional. AW has changed them from their work list

Honestly, I don’t know if there are enough words in the English language to describe how horrible this company is. They had the contract for Empire Buckley and Dalston in Buckhead and I have been stuck dealing with the poor quality of their work the last 2 months. Multiple units in the development have the same issue and all units are less than 1 year old. They have crass unprofessional office staff and technicians who flake on scheduled appointments (I’ve had 2 no call no shows) the days of scheduled appointments. They have unprofessional technicians who act as if they own your property and know what “normal is” and then act as if they couldn’t have resolved the issues sooner had they done their due diligence. I have a Freon leak in a property that was purchased less than a year ago and it took an 4 visits from a technician for them to come to that conclusion. It takes them another 2 weeks to begin the leak inspection process and another 2-3 to be “able” know where the leak is coming from. They have no ownership for their work and don’t ensure they make up for their technicians not showing up due to “a flat tire”. Their inability to resolve issues and listen to their clients is beyond me. I’m stuck dealing with them as their sub-par work is still under warranty however, I haven’t had reliable AC in over two months in a NEW BUILD! If you are paying for their “services” look elsewhere! If you’re stuck dealing with these fools due to warranty issues, hold your developers accountable for using the WORST company they could possibly find in the Atlanta area!

Many bad reviews so just want to shine light on an amazing technician, Jeremiah who just serviced our heating system. Our HVAC went down in our BRAND NEW HOUSE Friday before Christmas, temps outside got down to 7 degrees…! As frustrating as the situation was, Jeremiah was sympathetic and really took time to explain what went wrong and of course solved the issue. Thanks Jeremiah!

Had the “pleasure” in encountering one of their technicians on the road. He was blowing the horn and driving very aggressively. Not very smart to act like this when representing your company in a company owned vehicle.

D&L was contracted to provide all equipment and installation for whole house AC and Heating and plumbing for a new residence. Three years later, they refuse to provide service, stating that they are "too busy" and only servicing "warranty claims". I was unhappy with the quality of the design / install and I am very unhappy with the complete lack of concern for service. I wish that I had worked with a different company that would stand behind their work. Big mistake.

A refrigerant leakage problem is caused by the technician's operational error because he didn't change a small part after adding refrigerant, which is apparently required by the industry regulations. We have to find someone else to fix his mishandle.

Had an extremely ignorant repair tech out to work on my rental house who did work without getting approval and left telling my tenants the AC system qas running so i paid the $400 bill. Turns out the over priced thermostat install was done because he claimed it was wired wrong. Thats right, he said a system that hadnt been touched and was running great for years magically got wiring messed up when they are all color coded. He also suggested an asinine doubling of the breaker rating such that there would be extreme danger of electrical fire with no new wiring installed to compensate for the higher potential amp draw. Another Tech was dispatched that wasnt incompetent and knew very well how to read a Multimeter (absolutely crucial skill for AC technicians) and determined the first tech had been an idiot. After that the office quit returning my calls, presumably due to the embarrassment of having a complete fool doing diagnostics and replacing working parts without approval

Negative reviews are all accurate! Purchased a new home that used D&L for install. I had them out 3 times for warranty issues within the first year. A year later after their last visit and the same issue has occurred again and they’re refusing to address it since I’m no longer under warranty despite it being the same issue as before that they clearly didn’t fix correctly. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I guess they’re tired of all the complaints they’re getting!

HORRIBLE experience. Do not go with this company, unfortunately we didn’t have a choice. Our home was a new construct and this is the company the contractor used. In less than two years of having the home, our a/c is out with electrical issues. I called just for them to tell me we were out if the one-year labor warranty. Which is understandable! I told the lady we didn’t mind paying for the service appt/labor. However, she refused to book us. First, she said they wouldn’t be able to come out until 6 weeks from now. Told ok that was fine and even then she refused to book me in advance, and said to find another local HVAC technician. Replying to the comment below 👇 I can understand the high volume, especially at this time of the year. It’s just the tone and agressiveness of how that message was relayed just unacceptable and enough to not want to do future business with you.

I am not typically a person to leave a comment as I find them to be a bit ridiculous, but this company and their service is the absolute worst. I closed in a new build home and have had 7 visits from D&L over the course of 8 weeks because of their poor planning, lack of professionalism and scheduling efficiency, and horrible product service and repair. As I am writing this comment the heat index is 85 degrees and it is 85 degrees in my brand new home. Every time I call they have a 4 day turn around on getting out to service their garbage product(s). I have a warranty through the builder on all products and service and still would consider paying out of pocket to get a new provider. I cannot stress enough how terrible this company is.

This company is about as sorry as it gets. We bought a brand new home in a new subdivision and were told by our contractor that we have a five year warranty with this company on the air conditioning and heating unit. Four years later and we are experiencing problems with the unit so I gave them a call and was told "sorry we are only honoring our first year customers because we are to busy" and was hung up on. So anyone who has bought a house with an air unit from this company BEWARE they wont honor their warranty and do not care about their customers.

Seems this company doesn't care about customer. They were used as the contractor for the hvac unit in my new home that has been given me problems costing me lots of money in repairs as I have to use other hvac companies that are not familiar with their system. What's bad is they only service customers that are within 1 year warranty as in 1 year after closing date of your new home. It seems like their hvac system is designed to work ok for just 1 year and then after that you're on your own. Not a fan of leaving bad reviews but all business should be held accountable and focus on providing good service to their customers.
